Galaxy S6 - Various hardware and software issues

Hello everyone, I am using a Galaxy S6 32GB smartphone. I bought it a month ago which is really a small amount of time, but in that time the phone has gotten a wef problems. First of all the TouchWiz is really buggy and slow, when I tipe the pin on the lock screen the number keyboard gets unresponsive and slow. It can take a few seconds between clicking the unlock or home button and turning on the display. 2 times the display didn't even want to turn on, the finger sensor under the camera would start flashing red, and when the screen would turn on it would give me "TouchWiz has stopped working" error, and it started working normally when I restarted, but that didn't solve the slowness problem, even now when I'm typing this the keyboard is slow. I wiped the cache in recovery but id didnt help. The next problem which I wound on google that is normal for Galaxy phones is crazy shaking camera when I turn it on, which is not a big deal since the camera takes really beautiful shots. And the last but not least are the purple dots on the front-facing camera. While I don't really care for the camera issues I am looking for a way to fix the software issues, or I should just go to T-Mobile and ask for a new phone?
Best regards and please respond.

Xperia Z5 doesn't show "enter the sim code screen"

Hello
Well, my Xperia Z5 broke. Or at least I thought so. But it was just bent a little bit and everything was doing fine. I was using WhatsApp and stuff. This morning I opened the Camera app and noticed that the Camera at the back wasn't working. So I changed to the front camera which was working. When I tried to switch back to the camera on the back it froze. I could press the powerbutton which usually locks the phone it would turn the screen off. When I turned the screen on again by pressing the powerbutton there still was my ugly face looking at me. So I thought maybe just restart it.
That's what I did and it started the boot animation. Everything looked fine. But as soon as it came to the point where you have to enter your sim code I noticed there must be something wrong. It just shows the blue standard xperia Z5 background whichs animations react to my touches. But there doesnt appear an overlay which says "please enter the sim code" or something like that. just the boring blue background. The fingerprint sensor does vibrate like I unlocked the phone but it doesn't show anything.
I already took out the sim and the sd card and Tried to boot it without them. Still just the blue background
Does anyone knows how to fix this or did I f up my mobile phone entirely?
Many Thanks in advance

Unresponsive black screen after booting

[F8332/Locked BL/Official] Screen goes black and doesn't turn on when booting. Tried software repair with Xperia Companion but still the same problem. Phone is working even with black screen because it can still receive calls but no display so you can't answer calls. Tried restarting/power off. After the sony logo and xperia it goes black when android os starts. Tried searching this forum for same condition and I think there is none so I posted this concern of mine. Please help.
Hold UP, and Power button for 30 sec. It turn on on settings it will work on.
Hi there.
I know this is an old post but did you ever find the solution for this? I have a xperia xz1 with the same problem. Display goes black right after sony and xperia logo when android OS starts.
Thanks.
Hello guy, I also received a phone with this same issue, screen goes off/blank after successful boot up, but the phone is still working, just that you can interact with the screen.
After several attempts, (replaced screen, battery. Yet nothing).
So, I pressed the corners of the phone and it came on ( not immediately though).
Then I saw a notification about cover settings.
To cut the story short. This is the cause of the black screen and solution.
Go to settings > Display > Cover Settings> turn off.

Sony Xperia Z5 display not working after submerged in water

Hi, I need some help with my Xperia Z5 single sim phone. I used my Xperia for under water photography. It was working fine for sometime but later it started behaving abnormal. It gave me message to insert headphones and random screen touch and apps opening and closing. Looking at such behavior I stopped inserting the phone in water. It restarted 1/2 times and later on I switched off the phone. When I removed the sim tray I observed that there were water droplets on the sim and memory card. I dried the phone by keeping it under bulb light, all the water vapor under the back and front camera disappeared. When I turned on the phone the display didn't turn on but I was able to feel the phone vibrating when I touched the finger print sensor, was able to hear charging sounds and the camera worked flash light turned on when the camera button was pressed. When I connect the phone to computer the phone is detected but i cant backup any data as the phone was pin+finger print protected. I tried to repair the phone through Sony Companion but nothing worked. I even tried using vysor Chrome extension to mirror my phone to my computer but the app failed to detect the phone.
Is there a possible way to recover the data by somehow unlocking the device?
Is there a way to repair the phone through flashing or need to show the device to Sony Mobile service center?
Would appreciate if any help provided.
Thanks in advance...

Waterproofing has long been a key selling point of the Xperia line, and the Z5 has the highest possible IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. That means it's been tested by being immersed in fresh water for 30 minutes in depths of up to 1.5 metres.
However, the language used on Sony's website has changed: "The IP rating of your device was achieved in laboratory conditions in standby mode, so you should not use the device underwater," the new policy says.

Question how to fix random black screen after opening phone

My z-flip3 5g has a strange problem. If i close it (by folding the screen closed), then after opening (unfolding) the screen and touching the right side button/fingerprint reader to unlock it, i hear the quiet "click" noise that indicates the phone is unlocked, but the screen stays black. i then have to repeatedly push the lock button on the right to lock the phone again and unlock it again. after several attempts the screen finally turns on. sometimes it will go black a few seconds later and the same issue continues. but other times the screen will stay on and work fine.
i have noticed that if i do not close the phone (folding the screen together) then i do NOT encounter this issue. the phone screen turns on when pushing the right side button (or touching the fingerprint sensor) and everything works fine.
this issue started yesterday, a system update installed yesterday as well, could it be related?
i already restarted many times, booted into recovery mode and wiped the cache. nothing has helped. the only way to avoid the problem is by not closing (folding the screen shut) the phone.
One UI v 5.1
Android 13
Security patch level Feb 1, 2023
fully stock/not rooted
I have same behavior. Did you solve this problem?
Unfortunately no. Did a factory reset, hoping that would help, but the issue persists
Mine has recently started doing the same. Last update was right before this started several weeks ago. I don't have mine set to require fingerprint, it should just turn on after opening. If I open it partway, it will turn on, then turn back off when fully opened.
hi,
i have same problem, it's software problem?
Not completely sure about that. They update this thing so often, it could be coincedence that it started shortly after an update. I want to try blowing out the hinges as I've got some dust under there that I hear when opening the phone. Definitely not a phone to put in your pocket after working in the wood shop!

and donĀ“t take it to the beach either!
What is also strange is that when I close the phone and open it a few seconds later, there is no issues whatsoever. However, if I leave it closed a few minutes, then when opening it, the problems with the screen staying off happen.
Yes, definitely don't take it to the beach!
@netridah , mine is doing exactly that. Which makes me wonder is it a wake issue, or a mechanical/sensor issue with the hinge.
one more to the bill
I checked the flexes and I warmed up the logic nothing works
I have the same issue: Flip 3 - 5G with OneUI 5.1 - 1 April Patch level
When I open the phone I eventually see for less than one second the lock screen, the goes black and unresponsive.
Then I have to press the button to turn the screen off (even if it is already) and then re-press the button or use the fingerprint to turn it on and it will work (eventually, sometime I have to do it a couple of times).
I already googled it on many forums but no solutions, I've tried to:
Disable the always-on display - no result, at first looked like it did the trick but the day after was having the same issue.
Check all the updates of the system components like always on-on display (settings --> lock screen --> always on display --> info), no help everything is up to date.
Hi,
I have the exact same problem, only difference is that I'm on the z flip 4.
I get the black screen and sometimes when opening or closing the phone the screen can flash in a bright yellow or green color.
I got a motherboard but the problem continued
Next step changing screen is very expensive at the moment
This is driving me crazy - also started the day I updated to OneUI 5.1.
Hoping for a solution soon!
I am also encountering this problem, I went to samsung repair shop 1 month out of warranty, sales person said it is a screen issue and needs to be replaced for 430$. Mine was before the update, i took mine near the pool, got wet maybe, as the alarm for usb charging mentioned unplug it immediately, day after it began randomly dark when phone is openned fully. Zflip 3
Oh just an update, i did some tinkering today, Good lock all updated, disabled clockface, sprayed some contact cleaner on power button, and hinges, fold close and open for a minute or two, fell asleep for 1 hour, and when I woke up, my screen works back to normal, it wakes up when unfolded, no more waiting or hitting the power button several times. hope this stays like this.

Hi, few days now, I still have occasional blacking out, I've tried putting my phone on safe mode, and this seems to solve the problem. I suspect it may not be hardware fault, but 3rd party software, "good lock" or something else that conflicts wit one ui, that makes the flipping open lag waking up. Contact cleaner used for electrical stuff
Didnt use my z3 for about a week let the battery drain.. then charged it too 100% without turning on the phone.. my phone back to normal now.. hope it works for you guys
Hello,
I am using Z Flip 4 and last night I started having this problem as well. I can confirm 100% that my phone has no hardware nor a history of impact of any sort that's why it's really frustrating having this kind of problem.
Has anyone already found a resolution for this problem?
Z flip 4 here also. Had the same problem with the screen. Took the phone to Samsung and they changed the screen, frame and back panel's for free under warranty.
They said it's a hardware issue.
So better to take the phone to Samsung.
