What firmware are you on?, marshmallow? If so, no, you have to flash cf auto root via odin which is a pc program

Damn, I've got issues connecting to a PC, think I've got USB port failure on s6

I think you can use flash tool I guess(but that's just for Xperia, I heard.)
Anyway, it's not recommended to install custom roms from the PC cause of possible errors in transferring the ROM into the phone.
For example, if the PC experienced a power interruption or any other unlucky event, your phone may become bricked and be stuck
in bootloop FOREVER.

It might certainly be possible...you are talking about your huawei G510-0010 right...Just a quick question...why do you want to do it only through pc? Using cwm is always better as it can help you restore your phone if something goes wrong..

[APP/TOOL][WINDOWS]Root most of the MTK phones

For anyone who has the #9 error on Framaroot, try using this app.It rooted my God forsaken,MTK,cheap s4 C20 clone,it must be compatible with your device too.
Root Genius
uses "KingUser" instead of SuperUser/SuperSU,but it works on the same principe, and IT ROOTED my device which couldnt be rooted with: SuperOneClick,OneClickRoot,SRSRoot,MTKDroidTools,Z 4Root,FramaRoot.
Try it if everything else failed,it CANT brick your device,it uses a safe mode root![/CENTER]
As far as I know,MTK phones running Android ICS,JB and KK should be supported
This IS NOT my app,i bumped into it.

Dont the Xperias have their own root method which requires an unlocked bootloader?Try using "root4binary".put that in google, there is a thread for xperias and see if yours is on the list.
Also try looking for DOOMLORD root threads,he is a pro dev for the Xperia phones.

[Q] root without pc

I tried many ways to make root without pc because my pc wasn't working please help i am using note 2
Try baidu root. Or Framaroot. Or Rootmaster. Or search for more rooting applications applicable for your device. Basically those are the easiest way yet of rooting most of android devices.

Unfortunatley no, think of the bootloader like the UEFI/BIOS (Not exactly the same but for this explanation) on a PC. The device needs the ASUS specific bootloader to ensure the hardware functions in the OS, A GRUB bootloader would not be able to do this and the device would be "bricked" due to the different standards of the bootloaders and the GRUB bootloader not being device specific. An alternative to your idea would be to install a version of Ubuntu on your device using the thread here as this will use bootloaders and software specific to your device to load up the Ubuntu operating system. I hope I could help you re-purpose your tablet and good luck
