For anyone who has the #9 error on Framaroot,try using this app.It rooted my God forsaken,MTK,cheap s4 C20 clone,it must be compatible with your device too.
Root Genius
uses "KingUser" instead of SuperUser/SuperSU,but it works on the same principe,and IT ROOTED my device which couldnt be rooted with: SuperOneClick,OneClickRoot,SRSRoot,MTKDroidTools,Z 4Root,FramaRoot.
Try it if everything else failed,it CANT brick your device,it uses a safe mode root![/CENTER]
As far as I know,MTK phones running Android ICS,JB and KK should be supported
This IS NOT my app,i bumped into it.

Dont the Xperias have their own root method which requires an unlocked bootloader?Try using "root4binary".put that in google,there is a thread for xperias and see if yours is on the list.
Also try looking for DOOMLORD root threads,he is a pro dev for the Xperia phones.

Try going into settings and find Region and Language settings change it to English.
Don't think Rooting will work to change the language.
Well its in English. But there's random Chinese apps.

I successfully rooted my phicomm phone using Motofail. Works without problems at the second try. The first one wasn't succcessfully. Gingerbreak doesn't work because the exploits its using are not available using Android 2.3.7 which is the base of the phicomm ROM.
I'm trying to purchase this phone somewhere online and can't find it anywhere other than the phicomm website. It doesn't have a price listed. Where did you purchase yours? And are you using it on Tmobile 3g, 4g HSPA? Also, were you able to root it to remove the Asian stuff? Thanks.
Motofail == does the job

rooting is rooting, it doesn't have anything to do with recovery it is just giving you superuser permisions after you instlall SU and busybox from PlayStore , after root you will be able to install a custom recovery and after that you can install custom roms/kernels

Try baidu root. Or Framaroot. Or Rootmaster. Or search for more rooting applications applicable for your device. Basically those are the easiest way yet of rooting most of android devices.
