Sounds like a charging port issue then, have you done the other usual things like factory reset on phone or reflashing firmware?

Can't reflash without connecting to PC!!!!!

Nah I misread what I wrote. I was quoting the guy above me who said it is in newer phones and was wondering what certain date/ model. I can connect but I get an unknown USB device error.

What type of cable makers? OEM or other?

I just tried another blaze and it works for that cable.

If you bend the inside of the port on your phone towards making the small side bigger it works.

Glad you figured it out ??

Uninstall USB drivers and than plug in the blaze and let your PC recognize it or go to the T-Mobile site and DL the drivers. I've had that happen when I plugged in other phones, most recently when I got my s4. It wouldn't let me open the folders for the blaze. It would flash on than off. Just don't plug the other phone in again after you get the drivers. If it still don't work try regedit and see if its leaving behind traces after the uninstall of the drivers.:good:

But not for that much In your case, by and large, it's enough to get to another PC and put ONLY CWM - then all you can do

[Q] charging port damaged? How to reset?

My charging port on my s3 is some how damaged. I have to wiggle it to get it to charge and my pc wont recognize it. Any way to flash back to stock so I can send back to Verizon. I can't send back because I'm on a Clean Tom 8.2. I can't use Odin cause the pc doesn't recognize the phone. Any help is appreciated

I have read in other threads that using a different computer could fix the issue.
Did you try that?

What software version do you have on your computer? I read on another thread that the issue could be related to the computers software.
Link?

This is the thread that has one user recommend you try another software version on the computer.
Thanks for the info. But i haven't tried on other version of windows. Currently im in windows 8.1 might be the cause of it but i really dont have much time to reinstall. So might try on some other day.

If you were to take my earlier advice and borrow another computer you might have better luck fixing your issue.
Gonna try with another computer in my company
