help with rooting and flapping recovery on COKC - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note5

Lol FLASHING* recovery
Feeling like a noob. All the threads I've found for my T-Mobile Note 5 mention basebands that I do not have. And when I search my baseband, I see people mentioning systemless root but there are no links to follow for further instructions.
I've rooted MANY devices with little to no issue the majority of the time lol. I have never had an issue finding the tutorials, until today.
Can someone just point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Help Pls!!!

I have a USA MT3G and i want to root my phone so that i can tether with the original Tmobile rom. Is it possible to root the phone with the Tmo ROM?
I keep reading all these posts on how to root the phone but it seems so damn complicated . I am very tech savvy but i just cant seem to understand how to do this. Maybe it's because i cant find the right guide or files to root the phone. There are so many versions of SPL's I am afraid i will brick it.
Can someone point me in the right direction please....
Did you read the sticky's?
Sorry, but my 6 yr old could do this.
look for 1-click root.
Wrong forum, and didn't try searching.

Noob guide needed..

Can i get a link to a step by step guide for rooting and flashing roms in general im new to this and interested in how it works so any help given will be greatly appreciated .( links to software as well as roms if possible since i dont have the 10 post to access such)

i doubt you will find any general rooting guides. reason being, there are countless roots for different devices, and each has its own way to install.
roms are pretty straight forward, every one i have ever used is flashed in recovery, which is not much more than clicking a few buttons once you have a recovery installed.
your best option to learn would be to go to your phones forum and read any threads in development titled root and recovery (likely titled "twrp" "cwm" or "phils")
before trying any of that, you will want to learn thoroughly how to return to stock. those threads are usually in the general forum of your phone. it is really important to learn how to fix your phone before installing any mods, then you wont be so frantic when you break it, and dont know how to fix it.
Thank you and I assume the same applies for tablets right ?
Its difficult finding a thread specific to my tablet reason being its not a branded tablet .

yes
it really doesnt matter what the device is. you can only use roots, recoveries and roms that support your device, and have to follow the instructions contained with them.

[Completed] T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-I337 root issues

I'm not usually one to make an account just to post and ask for help as I usually find it annoying on most forums I frequent, but at this point I am stuck.
I've tried the kingroot app, that didn't help. I used the desktop version, but it's in chinese and from what I could tell it wanted me to enable developer options, which I did, and it still wasn't registering my phone as being plugged in.
I've searched, and searched, google, here, a few other forums. From what I've pulled either this phone is nearly impossible to root or I'm just doing it wrong. I'd like to know what steps I need to take to root my phone, or if rooting this phone is even possible. Thank you very much for your help.

Do not follow or use anything that the other member posted for you. It is not for your device, you have the T-mobile(are you sure it isn't AT&T?) I337, not the I337M. They are totally different animals.
Verify which one you actually have.

Yeah I just figured that out. Thankfully I'm really paranoid about bricking my phone.. Anyway, this was originally an AT&T phone, but I switched over to t-mobile.
Edit: For clarifications sake this is an i337 not an i337m

Yes, I was pretty sure of that anyway, that's why I asked.
Try this thread below, it has many things for your device from Returning to stock via Odin, Downgrading to KK to root, Updating, etc..

Pay close attention to the rooting and consider the downgrade to root if you think you need to, I don't have the I337 so I haven't had to research that deep into it. Root on lollipop if you can or go back to kit kat if you have to as long as you understand it and you are sure it's safe, downgrading can cause problems but I don't think that applies in this case, I'm not 100% sure of that though. Good luck.

Root and TWRP

I am trying to root my G3. Can anyone explain on how to do this or link me to a guide. Also need help on installing TWRP.
I've seen many posts on different sites but a lot of comments are saying it bricked their phones. I don't want to risk it.
Thanks

advice and help rooting my T-Mobile s7 pls thx

Hi all,
I've been searching the forums here, so it's not that I haven't tried that first. I'm looking for info on rooting my s7 if possible. Since it's been out a few years and they're already up to the s10, I figured someone would have come up with a stable, reliable method to root it. Everything I've been reading seems filled with reports of bugs and things not working properly after root. I'm no stranger to rooting. I've done it on all my Samsung phones so far, starting with the Captivate, with many thanks to all you wonderful people here.
Long story short, I'd like to root my phone now that I've had it for some time, without any or with as few problems as possible.
I've already tried using Samsung Odin ver. 3.12.3 to flash firmware to it. I installed supersu and opened it to the message "root undetected" and nothing seems to have changed.
Could someone direct me to the proper threads and download links for Odin 1-click, which I believe is what I'd used in the past. I know it was never Samsung Odin, just Odin ver. whatever. PMs are fine.
Thanks in advance.
