Hello,
One of my cousins brought a Samsung Galaxy S5 Virgin mobile from abroad. It was working fine until I update it to Marshmallow(6.0.1). After the OTA update, the phone lost network and displays "Invalid SIM card".
I've already flashed fresh rom(both Marshmellow and Lolipop) and modem.bin file from Lolipop version rom via Odin but no luck.
Is there any solution of my problem? Please help. Thanks in advance.
are you using it in the states or abroad? i know it was purchased abroad, but where is it being used?

where is it being used? I asked this before and am asking again now because it could be due to simlocking.

Unfortunately you are stuck with no root and no way to flash back with the OF1 update. This is their latest update.
so when i can acces to root, i just download Rom of 920I and install in my phone normally?

Hi fellas, so i got a Metro Pcs GS7, but i'm kind of obsessive and it bothers me a lot having a device not meant for my carrier (T-Mobile), tried to flash T-Mobile G930T Firmware via odin, but it gave me an error at the end, so i flashed back G930T1 flash, any suggestions?
Appreciated!
Always could with any other Samsung' between the 2 carriers
Except that the locked bootloader on both carriers devices may cause a issue if you Odin one or the other .Its worth a try all it will do is fail if not .But i did this on metro s5 s4 and s6

It should work with no problems. I had a Sprint S7 and flashed T-mobile firmware to use on TMO and its been working great. All the US S7's are pretty much all the same except for the firmwares. So they should be fine.
Yes you can ... i have done couple with no issue make sure to check your download it might be bad ...
How did you do it cause there's no working T-Mobile firmware online right now all of them give you an error message.

I just flashed my Metro S7 with this Tmobile flash and it worked,
Odin BL,AP,CP, and CSC and Voila!!!!!
I went to best buy the Samsung rep did it for me, I tried to do it like I did with my s5,s6 from Metro and the file was corrupted
So ifi flash this on my metro phone, will a metro unlock via unlock all carry over to the T-Mobile version? Will it get T-Mobile update?

hey my friend i had no trouble flashing tmobile firmware, but when i did i had trouble unlocking afterwards, could you send me a link to the metro pcs firmware, i would gladly send you a link for the tmobile, im uploading the file to my google drive account as i text this, its about 4gb , so will take a couple hours to upload
It works like a charm. I think it even unlocked the phone? My phone accepts T-Mobile sims without issue.

How can I flash the G930U firmware onto the G930T? Is it possible? I'm sorry, I've been out of the scene for a while.
Is it really worth rooting my phone to flash the T-Mobile ROM to get faster updates and have advanced messaging?

Hey Team,
I have a S7 that is unlocked but originally from CWW (Jamaica). I have yet to receive the Nougat update. I am using the phone on Virgin Mobile and I am in Canada. How do I go about getting the Nougat update? I tried Manual update from settings, no luck. Tried Smart Switch and no luck..
Change the CSC? If so can someone please provide me a walk through in doing so.
Update: I followed these intructions and was successful in flashing that firmware.
