What are the steps for rooting latest update DPH2? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note5

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I used the same steps used here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmo...ting-marshmallow-n920tuvudpd1-update-t3361990 and it worked perfect. You can skip flashing the DPH2 firmware if you're already on it of course. If you do need to flash it you can grab it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68609915&postcount=5. Good luck!

[Q] Installing a new ROM for the first time...?

Hi everybody, first post on this forum!
I'm sitting here with a GT-I7100 and was reading alot about the ARHD 9.2 ROM, which I'd like to try. However, I feel like I've entered a giant jungle with only a little nail scissor as my only tool. I've read countless of threads regarding bricking and only god knows what. I'm still convinced (bricking aside) I'd like to install a new ROM, and the ARHD 9.2 install instructions (found here) are extremely easy to follow. I am now wondering if it really is this easy, or if every single ROM developer on this forum expects you to have some software already installed on the phone for a ROM flash to succeed?
I'm at the moment running the stock software as configured by Samsung out of the box. Are there any steps I have to take before following the (oh so easy) install instructions found in the ARHD 9.2 thread? If so, where can I read more about them - and are there any guides with simple step-by-step instructions which explanes each and every step? The amount of terms I've found on these forums are overwhelming, and I therefore feel the need for a thread like this.
EDIT:
After even more reserach, I've managed to convert all of the above to a few steps, which I hope are correct.
1) ROOT using CF-Auto-Root (thread instructions here)
2) Install ClockwokMod ROM Manager and then let it flash Clockwork Mod Recovery by itself)
3) Backup current ROM using CWM and then continue to follow the instructions found in the ARHD 9.2 thread.
4) Install Triangle Away to reset the flash number.
5) Have fun!
Is it this "simple" or are there steps I've missed, still? Please tell me, since i'm not sure about this one, really.
Also, do you still need to root the phone using step 1) or will CWM do it for you aswell?
NEW EDIT:
Found this thread which explains all required steps in detail.
This thread can therefore be closed, thanks.

I have successfully rooted two devices using xda forums. Just make sure you read on past the tutorials. Most of the time you will find valuable information on what errors other users encountered and so on. Once you start flashing rom's it's hard to stop.
Recently purchased a tablet and looking for rooting and mod, thanks
No neee to worry... simply keep backup everytime...

Latest Bootloader / Modem?

I never got around to installing any custom roms after I got my nexus 5 back when it was released. I just stayed on stock. However, when 5.0 came out last week I got sick of waiting for the OTA update so I rooted/unlocked my bootloader, installed TWRP, and got on 5.0.
However, I did not upgrade my bootloader. I cannot seem to find a thread that has all of the old modems/bootloaders like I had when I had my Galaxy SIII.
Right now I have the modem: M8974A-2.0.50.2.21, which I believe is the latest (not entirely sure).
My bootloader is: HHZ11a. I see threads out there where this value is up to d? However, I want to make sure I'm on the latest. Is there a thread that has all of this information in there? Or no? If not, and I'm not on the latest, where can I grab the files to update them. I realize I can flash the modem, but I'll need to fastboot the bootloader which I'm ok with.
I've searched the forums and have had little luck, so a point in the right direction would be appreciated.
Thanks.
All the files you need are in the factory image so download it (it's handy to have in case you want/need to go back to stock) and you can flash the files through fastboot

Great, thank you. All updated.

[Completed] Detailed Description of ODIN (which buttons to use)

I done quite a bit of research on how/when to use ODIN and I've successfully flashed stock Samsung ROMs (following step-by-step guides). What I am having trouble finding is what's the specific purpose of each button. Some guides suggest using the Bootloader button (BL) while other suggest AP. The guides I could find on XDA are pretty old and the information (and options in ODIN) have changed.
Would someone kindly share what each button and checkbox are used for and why?
Hi !
You can follow this guide

How to root xoom 4.1.2

I just want to root my xoom 4.1.2. I am a newbie, and I have read many different guides, but I can not find a recovery for my model.
I was following a guide on the [HOW] Rookie Rooting, Flashing And UnRooting Under One Roof thread over at the xoom forums dot com.
and it says to download a recovery image that no longer exists! D. Download this recovery image(recovery-Tiamat-R4c-100611-1150-cwm.img) and place it in the "SDK_tools folder" at your PC C:drive: here
I can't find that file anywhere!! Is there another recovery image I can use in its place? Or do I have to follow a whole new set of instructions to root my xoom. Please help! I can't go buy another tablet right now, and apps and Google products have stopped working properly on my stock 4.1.2!
Thank you all in advance!

I have the same problem. I can not find this file. It seems as if the earth had swallowed it. If someone has it could you tell us where to find it?
Thank you
Here's a link to a copy of the recovery I happen to still have around. Just stumbled across this thread, since I came here in preparation for rolling my Xoom back to stock due to recent issues it's developed. It's hosted up on MediaFire, hopefully no one minds.
