Hi,
I have rooted my Note 5 (Bell Canada) installed TWRP & SuperSU V2.76
Is there anything further that needs to be done to patch the deep sleep issue on MM once the phone has been rooted or is it included with SuperSU?
Thanks in advance
Richard

Hey devs i have a galaxy s6 g920f and i recently updated it to 5.1.1 via odin wih build number bofj
Im not liking the firmware as it cant be rooted via pingpong so i tried cf auto root but it stucks on the boot screen so is there anyway to root it? Or can i downgrade to 5.0.2 back and i have seen some guys who reset the knox counter (which is shown in the bootloader) so i have got knox 0×1 (00500) is there anyway ican get it back to zero? Rule to remember: KNOX CANNOT BE RESETED
If I install one of the stock-based Marshmallow ROMs on my rooted Note 5, which has Knox tripped, do I need to also apply the deep sleep fix?
I've read on other forums that it's needed for any Note 5 with Knox tripped, but when I tried to flash it I wasn't able to boot anymore.

My knox is tripped, I installed MM normally via Odin and I have root, Xposed and my device goes to deep sleep just fine.

Why haven't you just removed knox? Just curious. tdunams deodexed MM rom already has knox removed & deep sleep works flawlessly.
Hi guys!
I rooted my S7 (SM-G930F [EU-Exynos]) when i first bought it (1 month after release), i rooted it and installed Xposed.
This was a long time ago, but now my phone is begging me once a day to update (which i cant because it is rooted and i want to keep it that way) and this is annoying me.
Now i read alot of threads about installing 7.0 and rooting it but i have not seen a guide to update a already rooted phone (without loosing data) to 7.0.
May someone be able to help me? I dont want to just flash 7.0 and setup my phone from scratch, just update.
And what about Xposed? Is it going to make trouble if i update? Do i have to update Xposed aswell?
Thanks in advanced!
Xposed doesn't support Nougat / 7.0 yet. If you upgrade to 7.0 you will lose Xposed entirely.
I may very well be wrong, but I don't think you can upgrade to 7.0 without doing a full wipe.
Hello, recently i acquisitioned a samsung galaxy s6 g920f second hand running android 7.0, and when i attempt to start s health it sais that it cannot run on compromised devices(0x110030521), i checked the internet and when i go to download mode it sais knox warranty void 1(0x0500). Any workaround please? Thank you.
seems like your phone is recently got rooted ? if yes, seems like your Knox is tripped
Okay, here are some solutions (not tested by me though):
-Reflash stock firmware (obviously you'll lose root access)
-set in build.prop value ro.config.tima from 1 to 0
-Install S Health apk from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/general/fix-samsung-account-login-password-loop-t3575443
One of these solutions should work. And please, next time do some research before creating a new thread.
Well, thanks for answer, but 1)reflashed stock with smart switch, and 2)i am not rooted whatsoever....none of the seemed to work, i gues there is no workaround the knox, or is it?
