[ROOT] PornAway : Block porn sites - Android Apps and Games

PornAway is an extracted version of AdAway. I know blocking porn sites sounds kinda ridiculous but I did what I just wanted. It needs root and does the same as AdAway, make changes of system/etc/hosts file and that's all. Library & Compilation credit goes to AdAway developers.
- Requires 'root' privilege
- Blocks country based porn sites
- Blocks porn ads, spammers (Now Ongoing!)
- Block mature contents provided by search engines.
- Doesn't support browsers that provides their own host sources.
If you're a parent you can try this for your children!
NOTES :
-You can't use both the AdAway & PornAway, cause they both make changes of the host file, conflicts! Either use Pornaway to block porn sites or AdAway. Yeah I don't support ad blocking that much. You should uninstall AdAway(if you already have) before installing PornAway(You can keep both app installed).
How To Use :
- Read above 'Notes' first.
- Install PornAway , open it.
- Give root access.
- Press on 'Apply Porn Blocking' with data connection.
- After successfully applying, reboot your phone.
Mature-Safe Activation :
- PornAway now included with mature-safe hosts, if you don't even like safe-mature contents(ex. dating ads) then it is useful for you. It's already enabled by default for experimental purpose, but not recommend as it also removes appropriate ads, disable this hosts if you're already satisfied with porn,porn-ads blocking feature. To disable it in PornAway, go to 'Host Source' , then remove the tick from the first site in the list.
Changelog :
v1.0.2
- Hosts source fixed, replaced with a temporary source, works fine now. Will be updated with the genuine PornAway source later.
v1.0.1
- Extracted from latest AdAway 3.2, supports Nougat
- Extreme Mode enabled, helps to block any mature content provided by search engines.
- New Interface, material UI.
v1.0
-New Interface, material UI
- Initial release.
Download :
PornAway is now available in XDA-Lab! You can get download and sync with updates from XDA-Lab now.

You can use the hosts in your ad blocker or any other 3rd party software that enables hosts file on any machine(Windows, Mac). Happy browsing!

Great job ! It's great for kids who tried to watch porn video.I have one more question about other Countries porn site and non-root .Will you add them at after build?

Thanks ! And it is already country based, like mostly supports USA,UK,Canada and Asia. I m still working on it. Without root, it'd be possible, which can be done by a VPN service that blocks porn sites! Will keep your words in mind.
Make sure you have root access and uninstall any version of AdAway before you install PornAway , I've tested it on Marshmallow, Lollipop and CM13, works fine!

This can be happened because of issues in your system/ROM , cause the app fails to analyse data. This should be happened with many other app that analyse data. Try to upgrade your ROM.

Maybe you can post your hosts source as a file that can be used in other hosts managers.
The contrary is also true, antiad sources could be used in PornAway.
The "conflict" is just two hosts managers. If we have just one, hosts file will be smaller and both objectives could be achieved.

I understand what you meant, but I've mentioned it in the post, I don't support ad blocking that much, or I'd add an option to apply the ad blocker in PornAway. You're free to get advantages by yourself!

[APP][4.0.3+] WiFi Fix (Repair broken WiFi)

Fix your broken WiFi!
After having lots of trouble myself with broken WiFi on my device (especially on custom ROMs), I have identified some of the issues and made an app to automate the process of fixing the problems automatically.
Currently the app supports two fixing methods:
Method 1 (Clearing DHCP Lease)
Sometimes, the DHCP lease of Android gets corrupted. In this case, you are not able to connect to any WiFi network - it keeps displaying "Obtaining IP address...". If that is the case, the functionality of WiFi can easily be restored by deleting two files contained in /data/misc/dhcp - dhcpcd-wlan0.lease and dhcpcd-wlan0.pid. They will automatically get recreated once WiFi is enabled again.
Method 2 (Deleting wpa_supplicant)
The file wpa_supplicant.conf (located in /data/misc/wifi) stores all the WiFi passwords of Android. However, for some reason this file gets corrupted easily. Deleting it will force Android to recreate it and WiFi will work again. WARNING: This method will delete your WiFi passwords. Refer to below for instructions on how to backup them.
How to read the WiFi passwords:
Install a file manager with root access (e.g. Root Browser)
Go to /data/misc/wifi and open the file wpa_supplicant.conf
Write down the passwords on a piece of paper (Do NOT backup the file!!!)
PLEASE NOTE: You need ROOT ACCESS for this app to work.
If you don't trust me, you can always check the source on GitHub and build the app yourself. Just in case ^^

Every other root program pops up a box requesting access.
Any ideas?

Chromium Browser [Updated weekly]

Hello, here's the open source Chromium web browser. Can't find it in the play store due to it having nightly updates/builds. I will try my best to give a weekly updated build. Thanks and enjoy. Don't forget to hit the thanks[emoji106] button.
BIG THANKS TO @andDevW FOR THE APP THAT COMPILES IT FROM THE SOURCE AND TURNS IT INTO AN APK.
Chromium.apk 5/5/18 Download Link
Thanks for the shout-out.
Here's the direct link to my latest release APK: https://anddevw.com/assets/apk/getchromium/app-release.apk
The app is entirely open source so you can verify everything that it does and if you have any questions or issues, you can get help here.
Building Chromium from source requires more memory (8GB) than any current production Android device has, so I went with downloading the official Chromium Team release from Google's repository and unpacking and installing it. You can do the exact same process manually (if you have a good file manager like Amaze) by downloading the official latest build of Chromium for Android here https://download-chromium.appspot.com/dl/Android?type=snapshots, unzipping it and installing ChromePublic.apk.
I designed getChromium with developers and Debian users in mind, so updating is a deliberate user-initiated process, generally followed by revisiting chrome://flags and enabling new experimental features that weren't available in the previous build. There's no point in automating that, and anyone unfamiliar with this type of manual updating and enabling flags would probably be better served by *Google's Chrome Canary.
*For the record, Google released Chrome Canary for Android 6 months after I released getChromium.
can you please take a look at this Brave Browser issue especially the commit that fixes it , https://github.com/brave/browser-android-tabs/issues/167
it's literally identical to the one that affects Bromite where it request permissions on every boot up.
For those of you who have MyAndroidTools app on your phone, 1)open it 2)click on Services 3) click Third Party 4) Click Bromite 5) Disable ChromeBrowserSyncAdaptiveService and ChromeGcmListenerService 6)open your terminal emulator and type Reboot so as to skip the shutdown animation.
Enjoy without the nag for account permission ??

[APP] - [TOOLS] - [4.3+] WiFi Password Viewer (V1.3) => Root, no ads and for free!

►►WiFi Password Viewer (Root, free and no ads)◄◄
►Introduction◄
First I was looking for a wifi password tool that I can check my WiFi passwords even before I did a full wipe.
Then I was pissed of from all the ads and apps that don't support Oreo (I like Oreo, because 100g Nougat is more expensive than 100g Oreo ).
Last but not least I decided to write a complete free ($$$ / ads) wifi password viewer and share it with you.
►How it works◄
File location Oreo: /data/misc/wifi/WifiConfigStore.xml
File location < Oreo: /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf
WiFi Passwords Viewer is looking for the WiFi Config file in your system.
This file will be copied and read to / from your internal memory.
When your device has read that file it will be deleted immediately and the wifi information are displayed in the apps listview.
There is no internet permission needed for your security (you can share the wifi informations by mail, whatsapp or whatever with the share button)

Credits :
@MOVZX
@saitama
@DanGoodin from Ars Technica
Hi, first of all, I'm not a dev but a happy android user and I modify some existing tools to my needs and to ameliorate system use
first I want to thank @MOVZX to let me use his script and @saitama to copy the tutorial. It give me the idea to add other google trackers in it...
I would like to continue to add different trackers to block them all, so if you want to post it that I can add it...
here is the description of the tool...
Disable F**k (Google) Services sh program by MOVZX
Tutorial by saitama
The goal of this program is to disable many Google tracking **** from the Google Services and the installed apps. It will do a search and disable all the google analytics, ads, and firebase services for all user apps
1. Download the Disable****Services.sh file
2. Copy it to /data/local/tmp with some root explorer (I used Mixplorer)
2.5 DELETE THE .txt extension, because I can'tupload on AFH otherwise..
3. Give it 755 permission (also used Mixplorer for this, right after pasting)
4. Open a terminal (like Termux or Terminal Emulator)
5. Do the following commands
su
cd /data/local/tmp
sh Disable****Services.sh
6. Wait (maybe a couple minutes depending on the number of apps installed)
7. Done
Warning: there is a small chance some apps will force close after thisYou have to unistall and install again your app to have a functionnal app or use the blocker app and modify permissions ...

Blocker ( com.merxury.blocker )
Blocker is an open source Android App to block or disable app components (receiver, service, activity and content provider).
It works with PM (Package Manager) mode or IntentFirewall mode, it does support import/export Blocker rules, compatible with MyAndroidTools rules importing (or convert to IFW rules to import). PM mode was used by default.
Both IFW and PM mode require root to work, Blocker also provide Shizuku mode which require Shizuku Manager and adb to setup which does not require root.

Since you're not actually providing this script anywhere (yet?) I'll have to ask: What does this have to do with Magisk (since you've posted it in the Magisk forums)?

The link you've posted in the OP is incorrect, and can only be accessed by you. You should replace it with the following correct link: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=306957.
P.S. - This has nothing to do with Magisk, and that's why @Didgeridoohan is asking. This is not the correct forum for this.

I can't root my device because my banking app isn't working on rooted devices. So I have tried to execute the script with TWRP terminal, but it's not working.
Error: line63: pm: not found
Any thought's how it could work on TWRP terminal ?
EDIT: Have tried it now on a android10 device rooted with MagisK20.4. No tracker where removed. So on my Android10 the script isn't working
