It's 628 MP4, it's debated in another thread. Even if cpuz says T624.

Hey guys
Huawei seems to not saying truth about their phone ..
I have CPU-z and antutu says battery is NOT 4000 but only 3000 then GPU is NOT T628 MP6 but poor T624

I don't think so. Mate 7 is the best phone I ever had as far as battery is concerned.
CPU Z is definitely giving wrong information. This is clear from it's feedbacks in play store.
I installed one similar application from play store and it declared my cpu as snapdragon 810...everybody knows that our cpu is not snapdragon... ? ? ?

CPU-Z is usually wrong on batteries. Check out the reviews for CPU-Z on play store. On a side note, someone I know once returned a phone because of wrong battery info he got from CPU-Z!

yeah bit naive..
Every benchmark I tried says we have T624 GPU not T628, I am disapointed if this info is true...

acoording benchmark results it has T628 but MP4 not MP6 as this site claiming wrong..
http://www.devicespecifications.com/en/comparison/4b381a102
T628 MP6 is powerful gpu, Note 3 have it. On ARM site there is no T628 gpu with 4 cores, it says from 5 up to 8 gpu cores, and T624 is up to 4 cores. Acording to results of gpu benchmarks we have somekind of cripled T628 gpu. I hope we will get performance increase with lolipop firmware and maybe more agresive kernel.

Antutu 5.5 reports a MALI T624 on mine...
Which one does the Honor comes with?
Cpu Z on my Honor says that mines has the 955.
Any answers to this? Or an error by CPU-Z?
950 should be the correct chip
Well, I think that CPU-Z has an error.

Thanks! Downloading now
Its 950, it makes sense it had this error, since 955 is just a litle bit different of 950 (just like sd 820 & 821)
The Honor 8 does run on the HiSilicon Kirin 950. Which is a beast of a SOC.
Kirin 970 SoC Announced
Huawei just shared details about the new Kirin 970 chipset. As you know, the Honor 9 is equipped with the Kirin 960 and the performance on this phone is fantastic. So whats new with this new chip?
Internal tests show this performance capability allows the Kirin 970 to process 2005 images per minute, which is up from 97 images per minute without the NPU. The new chipset from Huawei is similar to the previous Kirin 960 but sporting higher frequencies, being an eight-core SoC with four being Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.40 GHz and the other four being Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.80 GHz. The GPU Huawei has chosen to go with is the newer ARM Mali-G72MP12, but the company has yet to announce its clock speed.
They did, however, confirm it will have a dual ISP, but again, didn’t go into detail about its performance. It will be equipped with the Kirin 970 Integrated LTE modem (a Category 18 modem) with download capabilities of 1.2Gbps. The last bit of information that was announced at IFA this year was that it would be built on a 10nm process from TSMC. The company normally has big press events for their new chips, and since that wasn’t the case at IFA, it is likely why they didn’t reveal any more details about it.

If Honor makes an "Honor 9 Pro" I have a feeling we will being seeing this new chip in this device.

Sounds great!
Now let's release a worldwide Honor 9 pro and it may just be my next phone ?

Honor 9 pro may delay ther is no sign of news , mate 10 is the first device to get the 970 soc.
Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin range of SOCs are getting better and better with each iteration.

Kirin opens the apps really faster .
Snapdragon 830 exists??
This one's a monster.

Nope, Galaxy S8 US uses snapdragon 835, there isn't a Snapdragon 830
Also the Kiron 970 have 5 billion transistors while the SD835 have 2.5 billion.

I do know that the US variant of the SGS8 was suppose to be the 1st device released with the SD830. I have no idea why they used the SD835 instead.

They may renamed it, since both SoCs use the same config
Hello I'm wondering if it's worth pursuing rooting this phone.
I looked up the specs and see both Snap Dragon and EXYNOS ?
I know that the snap dragons seem to be a problem and I really think this is probably one of those.
Does anyone have a suggestion of a method that would be good for this phone?
Try installing cpu-z or aida64 and check whether it's exynos based or snapdrag based

Phone is out right now and I won't have it back until tomorrow but this is from the specs for this particular phone maybe you can tell.
Platform OS Android OS, v6.0 (Marshmallow), upgradable to v7.0 (Nougat)
Chipset Exynos 8890 Octa
CPU Octa-core (4x2.3 GHz Mongoose & 4x1.6 GHz Cortex-A53)
GPU Mali-T880 MP12
I'm pretty sure those specs aren't correct this one must be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Model
Phone already loaded Nougat.
Snapdragon

Only the G930F / FD and W8 are Exynos iirc
820
i have honor 4c and i want to buy samsung s5
which one is better on gaming ?
honor 4c have 450mp4 gpu with 650MHz
when samsung have adreno 330 with 450MHz
but opengl and open es better in the adreno 330
and honor 4c have 2gb of ram and Octa-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53
when samsung have Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400
but i tested another phone (samsung grand prime+) and it was faster in gaming when it have only 1.5gb of ram and Mali T720 MP2 with 600MHz but newer opengl and Quad-core 1.4 GHz
maybe it was faster than my honor 4c because of the 1.4 GHz CPU ? that mean GPU MHz and ram does not effect much combared to the CPU ?
what i wanted to know that is samsung s5 better than honor 4c in gaming ?
and will the samsung s5 be faster than the samsung grand prime+ ?
