Only band you can unlock is band 12. For the others the phone doesn't have the necessary antennas.

I can find qualcomm based unlocking (LTE Bands) tools / threads ? any support for MTK processor ?

Rooting and Band Unlock Help Please

Hi Guys,
I have a D2G unlocked thanks to another member who was kind enough to assist me.
The situation now is I am currently in the USA and have a German chip in the phone. I believe it is not working as it is band locked to Verizon in the USA.
From what I read have to band unlock the phone but to band unlock I have to root first. Problem is there are so many rooting methods I am getting somewhat confused.
So my D2G is Android Version 2.3.4 and System Version is 4.5.629.A956.Verizon.en.US
Could you tell me what steps I need to do to get the band unlock?
Thanks in advance.
I think I was able to root my phone successfully. I followed all instructions and used USB boot.
Is there an easy way to confirm I have indeed routed my phone?
Thanks

Verizon M8 LTE Bands

Hi guys.
The Verizon m8 supports these LTE bands : Verizon: 700/AWS/1800/2600 MHz (taken from the official HTC web site),
but it seems like 1800/2600 are software locked and can't be used.
I had the same issue with the AT&T version of the M8, but installing a rom would fix this issue.
Unfortunately, installing a rom on the Verizon m8 does not help and these bands are still locked.
bootloader unlocked and soff.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

Hi, M9guy
I have same issue with you, I am in China Now, they lock 1800MHz. I tried to find solution, but failured, android version for Verizon M8 can use QPST unlock Verizon Band limitation, but M8 for windows not support by QPST. Certainly, I am not expert, so don't know whether exactly support. After check XDA, found have some guys use QPST flash custom image for Lumia 1520, I don't know whether M8 for windows can use QPST.
If can use QPST, we can try to change Band data that should same as android version.
Thanks

How to enable LTE for Verizon M8 in india

Hi friends,
I recently purchased a VZW HTC one m8 from US and returned to India , now as per the specs I can see it's LTE
capable but what I wanted to clarify is it possible to use LTE in India and how can it be done?
Do I need to flash the RUU for Asia to enable the LTE bands or is it possible to enable without flashing any RUU itself,I am stock 4.4.4 rooted , s-off and unlocked.
Thanks for any suggestions !

NO 4g Signal in XT1541 . Can i flash XT1550's Modem Files on Xt1541? Plz help!!

Hey there!
I have XT1541 ( UK edition Single sim 1gb ram model ) . I am on Stock MM noq and some days ago i bought a 4g JIo sim but it wasn't showing any service in my phone only. The same sim is working in other 4g phones so i flashed different roms including stock LP, MM and few custom roms but still it isnt showing any network. So, i was wondering that XT1541's modem files aren't working here in india for 4g Bands . So, can i flash the indian variant's modem files so i could get my network Back
Or if i am wrong, can you please guide me somehow because this issue has pissed me so much
@lost101 my 4g provider supports 2300Mhz or 1800Mhz or 850Mhz bands but i guess XT1541 only supports 2100, 1800, 2600, 900 , 800 Mhz bands . can you please help me somehow ??
No, you cannot open any additional LTE bands, and radios from any other device will not work properly. The LTE bands are locked in a way we cannot change them.

Motorola One 5G Ace - Suppress all bands beside 5G and Connecting with QXDM

Hello Friends,
Wondering if anyone have any procedure or tried to unlock / root Motorola One 5G Ace 5 to connect with Qualcomm QXDM to suppress all frequency bands beside 5G .. ie only like to setup that phone in 5G SA mode.... Thank you in advance.....
PS: This is just for some lab testing ...... and i have purchased an unlocked phone and it is not attach to any carrier....
Hey there, welcome to XDA,
not sure about QXDM (?) but for 5g only there is no root required, just call *#*#INFO#*#* > Phone information > preferred network: NR only
PS: works for most Android phones
