NO 4g Signal in XT1541 . Can i flash XT1550's Modem Files on Xt1541? Plz help!! - Moto G 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey there!
I have XT1541 ( UK edition Single sim 1gb ram model ) . I am on Stock MM noq and some days ago i bought a 4g JIo sim but it wasn't showing any service in my phone only. The same sim is working in other 4g phones so i flashed different roms including stock LP, MM and few custom roms but still it isnt showing any network. So, i was wondering that XT1541's modem files aren't working here in india for 4g Bands . So, can i flash the indian variant's modem files so i could get my network Back
Or if i am wrong, can you please guide me somehow because this issue has pissed me so much
@lost101 my 4g provider supports 2300Mhz or 1800Mhz or 850Mhz bands but i guess XT1541 only supports 2100, 1800, 2600, 900 , 800 Mhz bands . can you please help me somehow ??

No, you cannot open any additional LTE bands, and radios from any other device will not work properly. The LTE bands are locked in a way we cannot change them.

Cannot access 3g internet on XT1032

Hello,
I have moto g XT-1032 which i bought from USA ,the global version.
I have unlocked the bootloader and installed cm11 nightly.
Now i live in india. (Bought it from USA because i didn't wanted to wait)
Here we get 3g connection as UMTS/HSPA+ But cm11 has option only for WCDMA 3g. On which i get no service.
Please help me with this.
Or someone tell me which rom will have the option for UMTS HSPA 3g.

Probably the needed band is not supported in your country... I use the GPE firmware, that is a nice stock version of android, the lighter (official) and the first one that get updates. GPE supports both UMTS and HSPA+ bands, you could like it. If you need a custom rom I don't know...

Hi, were you able to get it to work ? stuck on 2g here :crying:
the phone isn't equipped to handle those frequencies. i don't think it's possible to do anything to make it work on 850/1900
