On my nexus 6p I used to get 4 to 5 mb/sec download speed and 2 to 3 bars on wifi upstairs in my house, with OP3 the speed went down to not more than 6 to 700 kb/sec or even less, after injecting this wifi file speed gone back to 4 to 5 mb/sec even more sometimes and 2 bars on wifi signals upstairs whereas before it was only one bar. Many many thanks to OP for this excellent work, amazing and magic, other devs should inject this in their custom roms, up till now I have tried this in a few different roms and has worked flawlessly, thanks again and all the best, cheers

I didn't look at what you changed but it works like magic on FreedomOS. Not sure how this affects the battery life though, my usage patterns are too erratic to tell.
Thanks for the great work!
This works perfect with cm. Solved my frequent wifi dropping issues. Thanks!

Good work MBQ_, but why use the menudrawer for everything? I think showing the CPU info as the start page would be more efficient than just a blank screen.
Additionally, Holo Dark implemented. Holo White burns my sensitive eyes.

grrrr Fragments arent playing nicely.
Guess it's time to think outside the box.
Ok so i got the sprint S7 Edge with the latest update and like most of you know you cant change your APN settings with the latest update. Since I had no idea about this before i took the update I lost the chance of gettinf free hostpot. Now if you changed the APN settings before the update it will stick after you take the update. I found this video of a someone turning hostpot on without the need to change any APN settings but it wasnt in the latest update. I still went ahead and gve it a shoot and it worked. This is are the steps you need to do.
1- Resrtar your device.
2- Once is back up quickly turn on hostpot.
3- If you get the error message try turn it on againg without restarting your phone.
note: I got my hostpot to stick in the second try. The first try got the error message after like 10 seconds so without restarting the phone gave it another shoot and it worked. If the secodn time doesnt work just go ahead and restart and try step 1-3 again. Good luck.

Hello, so this is free and Sprint won't limit you to like 3 GB? I must have tether as I live out in the country where there is no cable or dsl available, and I thought I would have to wait for root for the S7. And would this work on the Sprint S7 non edge as well? thanks.

I'm on PG1, and don't have hotspots on my plan, but the feature works without any error messages. I was able to connect my s5 to my s7's hotspot and surf for quite a while. I didn't have to do any mods or change any apn settings.
Just to let everyone know, this still works with September patch PH7.
I can confirm this works on all sprint galaxy roms from s5 to s7edge
If your hotspot shuts off you have it set to time out
Go to configure hotspot and set time out to never i think its 1 hour by default. It will work till you shut it off if you set it to never time out.

I installed this as an apk on bog standard DP5 and have an overlay over the icons and nav bar at the bottom, anyone else?
This is for the latest Nougat. The battery changes color with every percent of charge that it drops. If you are on another Rom and want to try it, give me your framework-res.apk and systemui.apk
These colors are random colors I picked. If you have a particular order of colors you would like to see, provide me with the hex numbers. I left the last 15 red for the original low battery. Flash via recovery.

I finally got the systemUI.apk to deodex, decompile, and recompile without FC.
This should have rainbow batt, internet speed, and percentage next to clock. Make a backup first.

So that works on stock? Nice job!
I need only battery percentage, without battery bar. And internet speed centered on the status bar(up/down)
Could you make that?

I might be able to center internet speed but uncertain. Those are not my smali files so the up/down is a no go.
I can replace battery icon with just percentage.
Okay, that's good enough

Try it out. I left the battery in. Like dog121 said, you can hide in the systemui tuner.
That works, thank you although the battery icon in tiles is colored, would be better if it stayed as it was. And my tiles changed to 4 in a row, used to be 3 by default.
What's the timing for network speed refresh?

Not sure about refresh speed. I've never looked in the smali's.
I change my tiles to 4 column's. I can change it to three for you. The battery can be changed in the quick settings too. It takes some of it's attributes from the statusbar battery. This did start as a rainbow battery thread but in the mean time i finally got Nougat deodexed and could add some other things.
Yes please, would be great if you could remove the color of the battery back to stock in quick settings, and number of columns back to 3.
Thanks man.
