i am finding a way to root lg g flex 2 mm - LG G Flex 2

I found that king root can root lg g4 on mm just from the phone and its working so if we install total comander and Install Astro onto lg g flex 2 and Run total Commander and navigate to downloads Hold your Finger down on the on the Kingroot apk file and hit open with when the screen list pops up Select the Astro app.(App Info) Then Install the app at the bottom and follow the rest of the KingRoot instructions i think should work on mm with new apk

But whats the difference between directly installing kingroot apk and installing it through astro?
Because I have already tried kingroot and kingoroot on MM and I can tell you it doesn't work.
I would like to try but I won't flash MM again for nothing so can you try and see if ut works or anybody else already running MM?

[Q] LG Optimus 3D V20B cant root

Hi i know they have developed a root app for V20b but i keep on getting some corrupt installation stuffs. How do i root it?
What is exactly the problem that you can't root?
Can you give the following info?
1. What is the software u used to root it? This?
2. Is your phone in usb debug mode?
3. Do you have the latest LG drivers?
4. Did you also tried other methods to root that maybe damaged some files. (set phone to factory default in this case.)
If those are okay but your problem is not solved. Please make some screen shots of your errors.
This is his problem.
Try to uninstall everything you can.
Yeah try recovery then root again.

Hi I found that megatron script for windows works very well with V20B have not tried it on V21B but apparently it works, all credit to Dan Rosenberg the creator. (I have included the file below)
1. Extract megatron_windows.zip
2. Connect phone via usb and have phone in debug mode
3. Click on the file called "run" once loaded press any key on PC to start the root
4. Phone will restart a few times while installing
5. You have a rooted LG Optimus3d/Thrill
6. THANK YOU Dan Rosenberg the creator

1. Yes that software
2. Yes it is.
3. Yes i used the LG update tool to Install necessary drivers.
4. If i set to factory default, i will be downgraded to V10B i think. I did Superclick before. Is it the problem?

you can backup them but you still need to remove them after. Also i prefer to do a factory reset. Than you are sure you deleted all that's needed.
Only i'm wondering how many apps you installed i got 38 own installed apps and i rooted mine with no problems (v21b).
Edit: a factory default will not downgrade to early versions when you updated by FOTA or LG-Update tool. I bought my phone With v10b (rooted with superoneclick) later i did original update by FOTA to version v10e (Didn't lost root), Later i updated to version v21b. Do almost every month a factory reset and i never downgraded or lost root by doing that. Only all apps/contact/settings are deleted.
I have a similar problem.
tried to root my p920 with superoneclick and gingerbreak and none of them worked. the Superoneclick stoped at rooting device step #7. stayed there for an hour. I dont know the version of my firmwire ( those v10 or v20 stuff) because i dont know how to see it. Info of my p920 is gingerbread 2.3.5.
thks for helping

SuperSU remains on phone after system update but cannot be accessed or deleted

I used a root explorer to access the file, it says it can't be deleted because it's read only. Going to superSU on the play store shows that it is installed and shows no option to uninstall. What do I do.

hello bududubdubdubs it would be easier to fix your problem if you tell me some details :-
1. mobile brand and model
2. native and upgraded android os
3. the software that you rooted the phone with
Sorry, it's a verizon lg g3. Updated from 4.4.3 (I think) to 5.0.1 and rooted with the one-click root.

Can't, root process goes through and says it's completed but when I go to SuperSU it still says binary isn't installed.

How many times did you try the one click method? I sometimes need to re run it a few times.
You can also try the manual method.

I tried the one click way like 10 times. The first time I rooted it it worked on the first time, but since the update I have not been able to re-root it. I guess I'll try the manual way.

Can't root lg g3

I'm on lolipop 5.0.1 and I actually flashed a stock rom, and I can't get this thing rooted. I've tried multiple one click methods and the manual method, and nothing works. The command line one click way goes through and says complete, but doesn't install superSU or root the phone (downloaded superSU from the app store and it said no binary) and the GUI one hangs at 90%. King root doesn't work. I'm completely out of ideas, please send help.
Here is a video on how to root LG G3
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KijSEtdIOJs
I've tried every video I can find following exactly what they say, and it doesn't work
The CLI/manual method goes through 100% fine and says it worked but it doesn't, and the GUI one click way hangs at 90%
king root, ioroot, and towelroot are all outdated or don't work

I ended up using KingRoot and then a workaround to get SuperSU instead. KingRoot did install some fishy apps. (one that had chinese letters), but after installing SuperSU I cant see them, so im gonna assume SuperSU uninstalled them. Nontheless, my device is rooted now.

Root D850 Marshmallow?

Hai I flashed Turbo ROM and for some reason I don't have root... I have SuperSU but it says there's no su binary installed... Also I can't get into TWRP, because it hangs on the TWRP logo screen and doesn't get passed that. How can I root my device so I can fix my recovery, or the other way around? Thanks
go to play store and download supersu app. restart the phone. this will get you root. then install twrp app from google and reinstall it through app. i think this will help you get into recoery.

I already tried that :c. I ended up using the TOT method to restore 10D and worked my way through rooting it and putting a recovery on it. c: Now that the D850 has an official 6.0 update, I expect we'll see Marshmellow roots for our device c:

KingRoot gives you temporary root on stock D850 Marshmallow.
When you reboot/restart, you lose root and it takes about 3 minutes or so, using the KingRoot android app, to regain root.
The apps requiring root that I've tried have all worked without issue.
Whether you want KingRoot installed on your phone is another issue.
I haven't come across a better solution for getting root on stock D850 Marshmallow yet.

I just used the latest android app from: https://kingroot.net
http://king.myapp.com/myapp/kdown/i..._B263_office_release_2016_05_09_105203(1).apk
From the about section of the KingRoot app on my LGG3:
"KingRoot V4.9.2 143
Kernel Version v4.8.0 67 / Su version v3.61"
If KingRoot does work you could look at this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=darkslide.com.supersumepro app to remove KingRoot and install SuperSU. I have not used the app I just saw someone on Reddit report that it worked for them.

Edit2: My dumbass forgot to root w/ KingRoot first...sigh, will report back in a few..
Edit3: I don't get this..it removed kingRoot app and now I no longer have root..wtf? If I wanted King Root app uninstalled I could've just uninstalled it myself..
Edit4; Ok ..maybe I'm traveling through Dorkville right now... trying this all over agin with SuperSu in da mix..
Edit5: well, I have a brick now.. ;(

This is correct. Be careful though. Many users want to uninstall Kingroot and switch out kingusr with superuser app. Doing this may result in soft brick.

This is a old thread. Anyway you cannot root MM. You have to downgrade to root.

Actually u can use kingroot to root ur marshmallow phone. although root access is gone if u uninstall the kingroot app. Basically u get root access through kingroot. all other apps gain access through it.
