Just keep searching and move in quickly when there is a deal. I had great offer from Macy's two days before Black Friday: had the gear s2 classic for $254.99. That was $95 below normal price!

I picked mine up from T-mobile in Holland for €250 ($275). That's 150Eur off the price here ? For the classic of course. Normally €400.

I purchased an Amazon Warehouse deal one for $218. It was/is in perfect condition and works....then I got greedy when I saw another Warehouse Deal for only $189....ordered that one and it arrived with the reactivation lock enabled Had to send it back...it was in good shape too.
Ordered mine in store today at Tmobile in titanium silver at 10am pst. Along with a gold and black version for my girl and her sister. Seems tmobile is giving us free overnight shipping. Hope we get the device early like last year

Ordered mine via ATT's website (which is acting horrible right now...) at 1am. Says shipping on March 7th and the warehouse (Fort Worth) is only 4 hours from my place. I'm guessing depending on what time of day they ship, I'll get it by 8th or 9th.

Best Buy Blk Edge $779 full price with the Gear and 64gb card. (no use for the gear and will probably try to sell it for cheap. Have to get a "matte" sticker for the glossy finger print prone back though. Wish they hadn't done that again although the metal ones in Best Buy showed even worse. Definitely not going to cover up this beauty with any sort of case.

Preordered a silver and a gold one with AT&T on the 22nd, they canceled my order on the 23rd because they couldn't verify my identity. Turns out it's because I chose a different shipping address than my billing address. So I preordered one with Sam's club for the $100 gift card and one with Target for the $100 gift card.

Verizon, pre ordered silver on the 23rd. Still deciding whether to get the free gear s2 to replace my og 360, or the free gear vr to replace my star wars cardboard.
Pre-ordered from carphone warehouse UK, should have it one 8 March as they have 3 day exclusive, getting gear vr free.
Silver S7 Edge from TMO... order still shows as 'processing' with no information on the page. Guessing they will update that by the end of the week.
Got my free VR already from Sprint, ordered on the 23rd. According to the email it was supposed to ship on the 11th, so hopefully I get my S7 Edge nice and early.

I messed up and didnt order one at release, now im wanting it pretty bad.
Anyone having luck finding it in the US? I have read reports from several people that some 3rd party vendors that are shipping from Korea are shipping out international version ( no samsung pay, right? ) so I'd like to avoid that.
Frys Electronics shows it available for shipping first week of Jan.
Id prefer to go through Best buy or amazon, anyone have some insider info on them? Customer support has zero info.

I was able to find it at Best Buy.
I had the same problem. Couldn't find it anywhere, finally I took a chance, and went to craigslist, saw one going for $200 no box, I asked the guy if the charger came with it, he said yes. I took the chance, went for it, and it's just the watch, with the charger, (no cable or power block) but for $200 it's not bad. I factory reset it before I did anything, so far so good, everything works, Samsung pay works.

None of the best buys in my area or anaheim, ca or las vegas have them in stock. The best my local best buy was able to do for me is give me a 10% off coupon ad they couldn't even let me place an order to secure the 299 price.
Been keeping an eye on Craigslist too, thank you guys!

I Also got mine from Bestbuy about a week ago, but they were out of all the Bluetooth only editions. I ended up convincing them to sell me an ATT version for the same price and I'm just using it as Bluetooth only. Seems they are out of stock just about everywhere..
I ended up getting two shipped out. One came in today and the bezel clinks quite a bit. Going to see how it compares to the one arriving tomorrow.

I just bought one today from my local Best Buy. No Best Buy locally had them until yesterday. Per the manager I bought mine from, they had a shipment of them come in yesterday. They only got 4. There was only 1 not ordered online that was available for anyone to walk in and buy. They didn't have a demo unit on the floor.
AT&T has a special if you upgrade a line, you can get the S3 for 50 bucks...just did it myself. Doesn't have to be the Flagship, either...any Galaxy phone.
Just walked into my local best buy today and they had one left. It was $350 though. They said they will price match until the 15th of January so hoping it goes on sale! Either that or Verizon announces they are getting a LTE model and I'm returning this one asap

None of my Best buys stores in the Bay area has it in stock. Starting hitting craigslist and picked one up for $220, like new in box with all accessories and the receipt from Amazon. Can't express how much more comfortable this is compared to my S2.

Man i have had the same luck with Samsung. I ordered during the christmas sale and its been weeks. Aholes haven't shipped my order yet. Best buy has been out of stock since a long time near me, either. So i kept checking almost daily like a routine and finally found in stock, ordered and cancelled my Samsung order. The frustrating part is Samsung website has been showing The Frontier will ship in 1-3 business days since past coupla days. I called their agents and they all be like- "Oh sorry, it just means it will be delivered in 1-3 business days, once it leaves the warehouse. It is not what you think". WT?? Man I got so pissed calling them again and again with no luck, they all repeating the same sht. I have a strong feeling they are not shipping in the order received. I think brand new orders at full price are still being shipped sooner than those back orders sold at sale price.
I maybe the only one here and sound rather spoilt but I was hoping for an gift or accessory for pre-orders like a few of us.
With the S7 it was the GearVR and last year they promoted the AKG earphones with the S8 (ok, they came with all of them). It also came in a lovely big Samsung box.
Even though it hasn't stopped me upgrading I feel they missed a trick here by creating more buzz on pre-orders.
we get a year of bein connect for free but i have a theory. Samsung lowered prices in some countries and priced higher on others, to compensate they offered freebies to less developped countries like mine (Morocco). To me looks like the richer countries are paying for poorer countries well except in the US. The other problem is, just from browsing the s9/s9+ forums i can see that the sales will be much lower, as we had hundredrs of posts on the s8/s8+ fourms during the preorder period vs less than 100 here. So Samsung should give more freebies in few weeks to boost sales

For example S7 Edge is rated 350 Eur, S8+ 450, iphone 6 200 Eur. Sadly being patient and waiting for next months rebates wil be possible to buy the S9+ around 800 Eur and sell These phones for a little less thanwhat Samsung offers with more convenience.

I also noticed this price in Italy and asked the same question but no, it's the same version with 64gb storage. Every Amazon in Europe charge 950€ except Amazon.it.

Rightly said. I have pre-booked one by availing card, exchange and EMI discounts. I have opted for 18 months interest free EMI which is fantastic. As mentioned above the freebies only add to the cost of the overall price of the product which I am not that keen.
In Indonesia just get TUMI Case for all preorder S9/S9+
Not only are there no freebies but they had no discount bundles for preorders like they do for the released ones now. Kinda crappy Samsung .
I already have a VR, AKG headphones, and a 256gb EVO card from prior purchases. It'd be nice, but this time I just needed the phone.

In Czech Rep you wont get freebies but you can handle your old phone to get 100€ discount + price of your old phone if it had any value. Think its much better than freebies, which you wont usually use...
