I have an huawei honor 4x che2-L12 and I want to install android 6 on it. There isnt yet a version forr L12, but there is for che2-L11. I know the risks of installing marshmallow 6 for che2-L11 on a che2-L12 device, but I want to do it anyways.
I know it is possible, can you help me on how to do it?

It is possible, since it is stock rom, so you won't need any custom recovery. The hard part is to find the firmware.

Now my question is: can i use honor 8 pre-rooted and custom roms and kernels for my device? The only difference is the storage, right?! So it should work on honor 8 premium, right? I am on emui 4.1 and wanna install the new version.

Just check your model number before you try, (should be either FRD-L19, FRD-L14 or FRD-AL10) and make sure it's supported.

I used to have Honor 6X which was stolen so I switched to Moto G5s Plus. I still miss Honor 6X's camera.
Is there anyway to port Honor 6X's camera app on EMUI 4.1 or 5.0 to be used on all Android devices with Nougat without need or root?

Not that easy man... 6X camera is based on Kirin kernel sources and Huawei vendor partition, and so it need at least these two to properly work. I don't think it'll ever be possible, neither if Kirin complete sources should ever be released (but much time has passed, and i don't think we'll see those released in future).
I am not a developer but an Android phone user. I have an Honor 20 Lite (LRA-AL00) with Android 9, EMUI 9.1.1 which I wish to remove and replace with a suitable custom ROM. Is this possible? If so, I will appreciate guidance on this. Thank you.
I have a similar question because I bought the chinese Honor 20i and to unlock it's bootloader I had it converted to Honor 10i global version by https://ministryofsolutions.com/ Now the phone is running EMUI 9.1 and I wonder if SuperSU can be flashed on the current EMUI with TWRP or if Lineage OS, Resurrection Remix or any other custom ROM would work on this phone model.
