Titanium Backup Restoring from Cloud - General Questions and Answers

Hey guys. I got Titanium Backup Pro and made a backup for my Samsung Galaxy S4. I did some tinkering with it and now want to restore the backup, which I made sure to sync to Google Drive and Dropbox. The problem is, when I go to sync, it never downloads backups, it only uploads. Anything I can do to DOWNLOAD the backups and not just UPLOAD them?

Titanium backup help

So I recently did a backup with titanium backup, moved it to the desktop and i did a factory reset on my phone. After downloading titanium backup again and moving the backup back onto my phone and into the folder I opened up titanium the backup files werent being shown in the app. What am I doing wrong guys?
Scratch that I got it to work with a reinstall of the program.
Word. I'm glad it works that way, had a similar situation earlier
the latest versions support dropbox.
I move it all up there, and then pull it back after a reset.

[Resolved] [Q] contacts restore with Titanium Backup?

i've looked ...cannot find the answer.
MyBackup Pro is easy to just restore contacts specifically, but i cannot find anywhere in Titanium Backup that lets you restore contacts without doing a full system restore ....at least there is no obvious option .....and i cannot figure out which part of the backup contains the contacts.
Anyone know?

How to restore contacts from Titanium Backup

Hi guys,
I've made on my previous phone Samsung Galaxy S II a full backup with titanium backup. Now, I have One S (s4) and I want to restore my contacts. It doesn't work with old fashion way (by entering in titanium backup and restoring everything). Can you help me out with this? There is a way to find the contacts in the titanium backup folder and add them manually in the last case?

Why Titanium Backup Pro instead of Nandroid Manager

I have several TWRP nandroid backups of all my Roms. I downloaded Nandroid Manager and can open any of those Roms, explore them, and restore apps, data, or both. You can select individual apps, all apps, apps not installed, system apps, etc.
I'm wondering what's the use of Titanium Backup Pro if I can simply restore all my apps from a nandroid backup?
I guess with regards to backups, the only advantage I see is that each nandroid backup contains redundant apps and data (not sure if you can use TWRP to make a backup without the apps or data).
If you could make a backup of the Rom with themes/settings only, backup all apps/data separately with Titanium Pro, you could avoid this redundancy thus keeping smaller Roms with apps saved only once rather than for each Rom; however, perhaps this only helps if you plan to restore app only without data ... I thought I read it wasn't good to restore app data on a new Rom??
Is this the advantage of using Titanium and keeping the stock/lightly modified Rom backups or do I simply backup with all apps/themes installed and use Nandroid Manager on new Roms?

[Q] How do I restore my apps from a Titanium Backup to Dropbox?

I backed up to Dropbox and now when I go to restore them, Titanium doesn't find my backup in my dropbox. I've done it before and it worked but now it's not and I have no clue why.
