I reckon that's just an error in the post. The source builds to 1.7.1, and current Play Store version is 1.7.3. I'm sure Maxwen will push the updates to github when he has time.
This is a really beautiful app, by the way, and a massive improvement over the current AOSP version. It's always really welcome when people take to improving AOSP packages that Google has abandoned, and are nice enough to keep them open source!

Nice enough? I don't think you can close source modified open sourced software just because it's abandoned.

Unfortunately, Apache license (which most AOSP code is under) allows just that.

Wouldn't it be possible to add this to F-Droid or XDA Labs?

You do build a separated apk file so there's something missing on Github. We can't compile it.
I suggested your app on F-Droid. Could you contact F-Droid team on this topic to help them building Omniclock?

No - this was your idea
And I am pretty sure they know how to build an app.
Also Android Studio is doing all you want so why you dont start learning doing things on your own?

Keep calm... It was my idea but it's your app...
I already use Android Studio. F-Droid is a great app store for FLOSS apps so I thought it was worth mentioning OmniClock.
But hey, I don't care and will leave things as they are. Once again, there's a big difference between open source and free/libre softwares/people...
(sigh)

Is there still life in here?
I've got a problem with omniclock after I updated to pie. I'm on AOSiP 9 and the clock which gets installed together with the rom(aosp clock) work as it should, but omniclock "cuts" ~10 seconds from the beginning of the alarmtone before it makes a sound. Also I have to turn the alarm-volume up, else it won't ring ether. Anyone else with this problem? How can I fix it?

INTRODUCTION
Secrecy is where you can safely put your files without worrying that others will see it... They just can't.
I am starting this project since I have tried a number of Apps for secure file storage, while not finding one that best suits my expectations:
- some, like Vaulty and Hide it pro, do not store videos securely and just stores the raw file
- most only support storing pictures and videos. I occasionally want to store word documents but can't find a way.
- some produced by major software companies are simply bloated and litters temp files everywhere... That's just as insecure as not using them.
I am aiming to produce an all-rounded one that maximizes security but still ensuring ease of use and quick encryption time.
(Tailor-made for keeping your *precious* photos(or files) from your geeky dad/mom/friends/whoever-they-are's prying eyes.)

### Welcome to Secrecy.
I believe you come from XDA or Play Store, and you are interested in helping out in our project. As you may know, I started this project off with myself, but when it gains popularity, it seems that I cannot do everything on my own. Thus help is needed badly to breath new air into this project.
### Wait, I'm not professional.
Frankly, I'm not professional too. I'm just, as you think of it, a kid with thoughts. I'm looking for all kinds of support, and you may find possible roles in the latter section.
To put it simply, no one is unfit to contribute. From newbie to experienced, everyone is welcome!
### What can I do?
At the moment, I can think of the followings:
* Translators
* Quality Assurance (Testers)
* Collaborator (Code Contributor)
* Marketing advisor
* Design and Promotion
... You name it!
### What can I make out of it?
I don't work for money. It is not possible to repay you with money. However as a contributor, you could get a life-time worth of donation package. You may message me when you are a member and I'll add you to the list.
It is practically the Google Play's testers list, that when you try to purchase the donation package, Google Play does not charge you.
### I'm in! / I wanna know more!
Please contact me at [email protected] and specify the followings:
1. Your Github username (If you don't know, here's it: https://github.com)
2. Your preferred role, if any
You could also migrate directly to https://github.com/SecrecySupportTeam and get started with the source code!

Nope, it simply:
1. Finds the file
2. Copy it to "SECRECYFILES"
3. Encrypts it
4. Done!
Of course truecrypt as it name suggests, is the best crypto in the world, yet I would consider it as an over-kill solution in this problem.
Besides using them depends on deep hardware/root functions and may be incompatible for a number of devices.

Also, How was the app icon done? I see alot of icons like that and thought it's a program or somewhat
Off topic:
What is that app in your activity center? Is that for adjusting the display brightness?
suggestion: An option to hide the app from the drawer, or atleast, change the app name to something less suggestive? An app named 'secrecy' would only indicate that I have something in my phone which has been hidden.

Have you ever considered open sourcing your code? Maybe to celebrate a beta milestone? :victory:
Is the source available?
This app (screenshots) looks great. Thanks for that enthusiasm and work!
Would you consider to make the source code available for that app, please?
Q: Why?
A: Some people (me too) havn't a google account and can't get apps from google play. It would be awesome to see your app in open source stores like F-Droid or somethin'. And IMHO people could trust more in your <security> app, if they have the possibility to see what it's doing, (by parsing the source). And last but not least, also some other developers could help to make that app more stable as it's already seems to be :highfive:
Thanks in advance for any response.
Nice one! I'm trying to find a nice app like this for a long time. If one could move the vaults to USB OTG storage that would be awesome!

It is really surprising to find myself on the Portal!
First, I have to thank WILL VERDUZCO for such a generous introduction even though this app is still far from polished state.
I am not disclosing the source since it is still a 7-days old project, everything is messy with TODOs everywhere and e.printstacktrace() (FYI. it is a line of code that causes apps to crash when it panicks) on almost every file you could possibly find. Thus when the project comes to maturity the source will be on github. As for security caveat, I am using encryption libraries from java, so if you trust java you can trust the app (LOL).

LineageOS 15.1 support!
Profile Shortcuts for LineageOS provides android system shortcuts as well as Tasker events and actions for your LineageOS/CyanogenMod system profiles. Shortcuts can be added to your home screen, profiles can be launched from customisation/automation apps such as Tasker, and profile changes can be detected as an event in Tasker.
Most but not all functionality requires the fantastic Tasker automation app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.dinglisch.android.taskerm
This app utilises the LineageOS/CyanogenMod Platform SDK (level 2, Boysenberry) and therefore requires Lineage OS 13+ or CyanogenMod 13.
Unfortunately, due to a bug in Cyanogenmod, profile change detection requires SDK level 6, Fig. Please update Cyanogenmod to snapshot ZNH5Y or later, or a nightly from April 2016 or later to use this feature.
A bug in Lineage OS 14.1/CyanogenMod 14.1 prevents this app from working on this system on releases before 28/03/17. Please update to a LineageOS 14.1 release from 28/03/17 or later.
I had been using a very similar app by developer Mufri for many years but unfortunately it seems that his version isn’t compatible with marshmallow and above, so this app is intended to fill that gap.
App is in beta so let me know here if you have any problems or suggestions.

Hey Battlemoose. I'm really looking forward to the Tasker integration with your new app. Specifically I'm looking to 1) trigger Tasker Profiles on an automated CM13 Profile change and 2) launch a CM13 Profile from a Task in Tasker. I've been using Profle 4 Tasker for years and I'm going crazy without it!
Any estimates on an alpha for Tasker integration?

Hey TornSack, both of those suggestions are on the cards for the next iteration of development. Unfortunately I'm doing this in my spare time so I can't say how long it will take. Knowing that someone is interested in my work is great though so I'll get onto it ASAP.
Updated to include Tasker/Locale support for switching profiles.
More Tasker features coming soon!

Hi Gaukler, unfortunately my app uses components of the CyanogenMod Platform SDK that aren't available in versions lower than CM13 so I'm afraid it can only run on Marshmallow and upwards.
Thanks for the answer. I found a solution for Lollipop. Anyway good work. I tested your app on my note 1 with unofficial cm13 and tasker. All worked fine.
Just had to move back to lollipop due to massive battery drain...

But I wasn't able to build it (there's an open issue, started by me).

Not at the moment. It may be in the future, but for now it's for my own learning.
FYI, I had to setup my tasks in Tasker again, as inside the tasks it was written "Unknown plugin". A reboot didn't help.

Thanks for the feedback. This might be due to having to change the plugin name during the last release. Hopefully shouldn't be a problem in the future.
Added Tasker variables for the profile changed event containing the names of the previous profile and the profile changed to. These variables are available in tasks triggered by such an event.

Unfortunately at the moment I don't have access to any CM 14 supported devices so it would be difficult for me to debug any issues. Hopefully this will change soon. Why do you suspect the issue is related to SELinux? I feel like any issues are more likely to be related to changes in the cm platform sdk or the general wip status of CM 14 in general.

[APP][6+]Check for Doze Support [1.1.1-rc2][05/10/2016]

Hey peeps of XDA!
I've made a simple app to check if your device meets the requirements for Doze!
I also added a new check that was missing, and has probably caused false positives (Saying the phone supports Doze, while it actually doesn't), please download the update and check again
I'll be updating it soon to add more info, and possibly add some more checks to see if Doze is actually working.

There are some devices for which marshmallow custom roms are available but they may not have the doze sensor hardware.
Even i have S3 and i have a flashed a android m custom ROM but my device doesn't support doze feature as there is no sensors.
Anyways kuddos to the developer for this app?

Hi, if I may ask, why did you use the support library in creating this? Since it only supports > 6.0 and you aren't using anything from the support library that a normal activity can't do, you can use have your MainActivity extend Activity and remove the support library from gradle, trim down the APK quite a lot.

At least I know now that my SGS3 GT-I9305 doesn't support Doze due to lack of sensors.
I didn't realise this up to now; however, I've just recognised the Doze-functionality built into my ROM.

Thanks. Question: are you going to put this in the Play Store or only share it on XDA?

There is a problem parsing the package in my Yureka. What is the solution for it?
Hah, just wanted to test the App. Great work!
And just in case, anyone didn't know, OnePlus One does support Doze.

Q) Did he really say "Download" it??
A) Yep, you aren't tripping on anything and reading what is described clearly!!

We respect SoundCloud's terms & conditions, thus, we try our best to keep the copyrighted content away. Any DMCA requests should directly be made to SoundCloud.com. Everything seems great so far. I guess my only "requests" would be if it would be possible to edit the ID tags of the song when downloaded, or have the option to adjust them on download. Also, on the search screen, would it be possible to show the artist as well as song name? If you search a title, it's pretty much guessing which artist you're looking for. Besides that, nothing to complain. Works well and straightforward!

This app makes downloading SoundCloud songs easy, But it's still downloading at the lowest quality 128 kbs like other downloaders.

Thanks for the feedback!
To answer your first request, yes I'm planning to add Meta data editor in future updates. Now coming to the second question, you can search for the entire title of the song along with the artist name to get best results as it is already implemented. Keep in mind that these songs are fetched from the public library, so in case you can't find any track you're looking for, then chances are it's copyrighted or premium content (DownCloud excludes that).

Hey, thanks for the feedback.
I'm afraid it's the limitation in SoundCloud's API (streaming or downloading only at 128 kbs) itself so there's nothing I can do about it.
Hey, could you add a way to input links? Thanks
Where are download songs located?
Edit: storage/emulated/0/DownCloud

Also on my Nexus 4 running Nitrogen OS on Android 7.1.1 (I still haven't had time to update to 7.1.2).
Update: It would seem that there is a problem with the XDA Labs APK, I had downloaded it from the OP and it functions properly for me.

Looks like it might be Interesting But I can't seem to download it from Telegram (I'm not registered at Telegram), and there doesn't seem to be an .apk at GitHub?

Ok, found it on GitHub here https://github.com/mirfatif/WhatsRunning/releases even though GitHub says "No releases or Repo not found". Must be a bug there somewhere.

Not a bug but pre-releases don't show up as releases on GitHub.
Currently only the beta Pro version of the app is available for testing. Play Store version will be available soon.

@Mikirok Good day! Does this app allows user to block such system services, alarms or wake locks or it's just for the viewing purpose? Willing to purchase if it provides a complete solution like app such as Amplify or servicely (miss the good old days of android).
Here is the problem

For wake locks you can use our sister app PMX to set WAKE_LOCK permission. Even better approach is to set RUN_IN_BACKGROUND.
System services and Alarms cannot be blocked.
For app services and other components like broadcast receivers, a dedicated app is planned. But there's no reliable and universally working method to control this either. See this.

does this app allow you to easily see what apps are currently drawing over other apps on screen?

Not exactly. But WhatsRunning can show you which apps are running an Activity (the visible part) or a Service (in background). Definitely one of them must be the app you are looking for.
But we have another app PMX which can fulfill your need more precisely. Since SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW permission is required to draw over other apps, PMX shows you a list of all apps which used the said permission. A timestamp is also displayed.
