[Completed] Porting LP rom to MTK6582 Lenovo a588t - XDA Assist

hi guys, ive got myself a most unusual phone, its a lenovo A588t flip phone running android 4.4 with kernel 3.4.67 and MTK6582 quad core 1.3GHz chipset, its a phone that seems to have no support whatsoever, not even a stock rom on the internet or lenovo's website.
now, im trying to port lollipop to it as the current rom has crap forged in the rom like Clean master and DU speed booster etc, i delete the system apps using Titanium backup and they all return after rebooting
ive never done a rom port before so i tried a few tutorials on google on the subject and they all seem way too complex, dont make sense or is telling me to copy a file that doesnt exist & i get something wrong, ive tried pre-made roms from mtkroms.com and not one of them actually installed, never mind booted up, giving an error: (status 7), the phone has a seemingly old version of clockworkmod recovery installed similar to the one used on a Google Nexus One
i tried to setup "cygwin" but a week later its still installing so gave up on that.......
im in need of expert help, what Lollipop ROM do i use as the base rom, what files do i edit/replace with the stock rom, what is the easiest method of doing such thing?
also, is android kitchen any use?
any help greatly appreciated

[Completed] Why is the installation of new roms not possible on my note 2?

I have a note 2 GTN7100. I was running the DN4 rom for quite some time last year then i decided to experiment with the multirom port for the phone. After i found that the multirom port didnt work well, i uninstalled it usung the zip file provided by the developer who ported it. It was all fine and i could install new roms. But recently, i felt that the rom DN4 was getting a little bit boring so i tried installing new roms but every single rom i tried to install always ended up in a bootloop so i had to always restore from a backup amd go on with my day. The phone started overheating and lagging all over the place so i decided to get a note 4. But i still want to install new roms and such on the note 2 for video making purposes. I have tried googling on a solution for this countless times. Hope you guys can offer me a solution. Your help is greatly appreciated.

[Completed] root newly upgraded huawei D2 to 4.4.2 kitkat

Hi,
I can't find anything on XDA specific to your device, but you can try one of the generic root methods found here,
http://www.xda-developers.com/root/
And if those don't help, you could ask for help here,

[Completed] ZTE nubia Z5s stuck in recovery.

I humbly implore the help of the android gods, for I am at my wits end!
For some background, I love this ZTE Z5s it's fast and snappy and well made. Recently I started playing around with google cardboard, got a VR box and I was very impressed. Especially with the cedar point roller coaster VR ride! Some of the other VR apps didnt work correctly, seemingly because I was on android 4.2 (On my Huawei P8 with android 4.4.2 it worked fine)
And so, I was on a mission to upgrade firmware to 4.4.2. seemingly a trivial task, since the 4.4.2 firmware was an official factory release.
When booting into recovery mode CWM 6.0.4.5 (which was in chinese btw. Yeah, a lot of fun to decipher. used English version as guide) I located the 'install from zip' option and pointed it to the new firmware. To my dismay, the update failed. The translation saying something like CWM 6.0.4.5 cant upgrade to 4.4.2 and i need a newer recovery manager.
And then... the recovery loop started. It doesnt boot into anything, shows the nubia symbol and goes straight to recovery.
I have since tried a factory reset, but to no avail. Same recovery loop.
Is anyone able to assist on this? Or have I just gained myself a shiny doorstop? lol
Is this the correct space to post this? Apologies if not.
Also, I have installed android SDK and device is not listed when I run the 'adb_devices' command. Was thinking I could put a 4.2 firmware back on the device, and run CWM again using this.

i figured i had to flash it again but the problem never seems to go away even after flashing different versions of the stock rom....
i know it a very old phone but badly need it to work for atleast a few months........
what am i doing wrong? why is flashing a stock rom not solving my problem?
