[Completed] Intex Aqua i5 apps force close - XDA Assist

Ok i am using an Intex Aqua i5 android phone that was working fine until some virus shut it completely down.....
i then had to flash a stock rom which i found easily on the net........ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2645447
after flashing it i had the phone in proper condition for a month before apps started 'unfortunately closing'
i figured i had to flash it again but the problem never seems to go away even after flashing different versions of the stock rom....
i know it a very old phone but badly need it to work for atleast a few months........
what am i doing wrong? why is flashing a stock rom not solving my problem?
also i am not able to get into bootloader or any other menu including the recovery
is my phone as good as useless?

[Completed] ZTE nubia Z5s stuck in recovery.

I humbly implore the help of the android gods, for I am at my wits end!
For some background, I love this ZTE Z5s it's fast and snappy and well made. Recently I started playing around with google cardboard, got a VR box and I was very impressed. Especially with the cedar point roller coaster VR ride! Some of the other VR apps didnt work correctly, seemingly because I was on android 4.2 (On my Huawei P8 with android 4.4.2 it worked fine)
And so, I was on a mission to upgrade firmware to 4.4.2. seemingly a trivial task, since the 4.4.2 firmware was an official factory release.
When booting into recovery mode CWM 6.0.4.5 (which was in chinese btw. Yeah, a lot of fun to decipher. used English version as guide) I located the 'install from zip' option and pointed it to the new firmware. To my dismay, the update failed. The translation saying something like CWM 6.0.4.5 cant upgrade to 4.4.2 and i need a newer recovery manager.
And then... the recovery loop started. It doesnt boot into anything, shows the nubia symbol and goes straight to recovery.
I have since tried a factory reset, but to no avail. Same recovery loop.
Is anyone able to assist on this? Or have I just gained myself a shiny doorstop? lol
Is this the correct space to post this? Apologies if not.
Also, I have installed android SDK and device is not listed when I run the 'adb_devices' command. Was thinking I could put a 4.2 firmware back on the device, and run CWM again using this.

[Completed] *Help* stuck with no service

Hi there!,In need of a solution,if someone would be so kind... using a BLU Life 8XL,finally installed custom ROM, all would have been well except, no service, no matter what i try, reinstalled ROM,factory reset, wiped all data, tried going back to stock ROM but keeps getting stuck in bootloop, but the main issue is the phone wont detect any SIM card, right now i'm using a custom CM13 ROM with Android 6.0.1, if i dial *#06# for the IMEI, it shows up blank, from what i remember, this happend while i was still on stock ROM, was browsing through the root folders(unfortunately didn't back anything up) then flashed KS-TWRP 3.0.0.0,rebooted, then no service, from there i just went on to flash the CM13 ROM, figured that would solve the problem, but it didnt, everything else pretty much works except SIM is not detected. can provide more info if needed.

[Completed] Porting LP rom to MTK6582 Lenovo a588t

hi guys, ive got myself a most unusual phone, its a lenovo A588t flip phone running android 4.4 with kernel 3.4.67 and MTK6582 quad core 1.3GHz chipset, its a phone that seems to have no support whatsoever, not even a stock rom on the internet or lenovo's website.
now, im trying to port lollipop to it as the current rom has crap forged in the rom like Clean master and DU speed booster etc, i delete the system apps using Titanium backup and they all return after rebooting
ive never done a rom port before so i tried a few tutorials on google on the subject and they all seem way too complex, dont make sense or is telling me to copy a file that doesnt exist & i get something wrong, ive tried pre-made roms from mtkroms.com and not one of them actually installed, never mind booted up, giving an error: (status 7), the phone has a seemingly old version of clockworkmod recovery installed similar to the one used on a Google Nexus One
i tried to setup "cygwin" but a week later its still installing so gave up on that.......
im in need of expert help, what Lollipop ROM do i use as the base rom, what files do i edit/replace with the stock rom, what is the easiest method of doing such thing?
also, is android kitchen any use?
any help greatly appreciated
