Once I Just changed the time manually on my exynos version of j700f and again checked the automatic update of date and time later. But the time doesn't sync with the network anymore. I tried restarting the phone and the ClockSync with rooted permission but doesn't help at all. Any ideas ? Thanks.

Hello brothers,
My phone is Galaxy Y Duos GT-S6102
Last week i installed gingericejelly v1.3, it was working great but i am unable to operate due to lots of feature so i decided to go back to stock rom.
I downloaded stock rom from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1656825
India
Regions: India
PDA: S6102DDLJ1
CSC: S6102ODDLJ1
Version: 2.3.6
Date: 2012-10-26
Finally i succeded flashing and phone is working awesome.
But problem arises here i downloaded updates through phone as i was getting updates available in notification taskbar. Phone automatically restarted and during installation of new updates i saw progress till 7% after that it again restarted automatically and came to home screen as normal and i got a message as "Updates failed".
So please help me out to get that updates through phone updates process. I need your help brother. You all are genius and i know you all will able to solve my issue.
Everything is working fine except updates through phone is not happening.
Thanks
Don't know if anyone else has had this, but about 1-2 times a day tje phone auto resets with the update but does not update. currently have version H90010d Build LMY47V
By reset do you mean the notification for a new update comes up? Or the device resets?
Previously I had a problem with kitkat in which samsung accounts lock you out and there is processing failed. There are ways to get around that until it was fixed in lollipop. Now this latest update marshmallow plugged the holes in Lollipop. For me after the installation of the latest Marshmallow, I got blocked out of accessing my phone again... (samsung account processing failed) even though I know my user name and password, it would not accept it just keep on saying processing failed.
Just so you know my specs is Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge SM-9250, bought in China, switched to Hong Kong firmware, currently boots into the 6.01 hong kong version which is an absolute nightmare because "google" is blocked in China. I had to use a virtual laptop wifi VPN to get it pass checking updates.
I was wondering, if it is possible to downgrade my phone from the 6.01 to lollipop 5.1.1 unfortunately Odin keeps on saying Nand write failed for my AP's that I've been using. So, is there anyway to "fix" this problem?
Been searching all over the web for a solution to this problem. It is possible to downgrade from Android M to any rom above C017, there are ways to get internet, browser, downloading apps working, however it is still impossible to create a new samsung account or use my old samsung account. This is strange because I can log into my samsung account on the phone's browser perfectly, just not the phone reactivation lock.
Does this mean my phone's IMEI have changed? If so, is it possible to use my old Samsung backup folder to restore my previous IMEI? Do i need the exact same ROM to do this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Any assistance please? I need to get this phone working for work.
Hey guys,
I have the SAMSUNG-SM-N915A model number and the stock version Build number LMY47X.N915AUCS2C017 Baseband version on my phone. It works like a charm after spending days trying other stock build version I found online that had so many problems restarting the phone over and over. AT&T is trying to force a software update to 6.0 on my phone which simply wont work as the regular software update bricks my phone for some reason. Is there a setting I'm missing the just tells the phone not to accept any software updates from AT&T? I'm almost positive this update will screw weeks of tinkering and I finally got it working with 5.1.1. I want it to stay this way. Any ideas?
Thanks

Go to settings/security.
You'll find the update settings in there IIRC.
closest thing I see too that is "security policy updates option which is already check off for automatic updates. It seems to be the Device management that's always trying to download the software update and force update. Is this a hidden stock application?

Sorry I took so long getting back.
It's been a while since my 5.1.1 days.
Check in the section that says about device.
You should find your updates on/off listed in there.
You might want to turn off the cloud sync'ing settings as well.
Hi
I changed my CSC way before for activate native call recording feature.
But i just realized that i didnt get any OTA at all and this phrase that "your device is up to date" is totally non sense.
Would you please kindly help me out.
Most likely because it's a carrier update not a system update, most android updates are security patches anyway.
I would sleep over it, you don't need to update your device if it's working fast and nicely.
