Hi
I changed my CSC way before for activate native call recording feature.
But i just realized that i didnt get any OTA at all and this phrase that "your device is up to date" is totally non sense.
Would you please kindly help me out.
Most likely because it's a carrier update not a system update, most android updates are security patches anyway.
I would sleep over it, you don't need to update your device if it's working fast and nicely.

Has anyone received an OTA update for lollipop? I repeat OTA, not manual image flashing.
If you have, please mention the date you got it and also the country you are in.
There is a dedicated OTA help desk on our nexus 5 forum .
They are not covering lollipop OTA for now. I went through the thread
i aslo want to find out if anyone in the world got the OTA , as promised by google, or they are just ****ing with us
update
My friend received ota by clearing cache and data of google framework in manage apps and also disable it and than restart the phone and enable google framework. You will receive ota but you have to try for few times since only 1% people are receiving ota now.
Hey guys,
I have the SAMSUNG-SM-N915A model number and the stock version Build number LMY47X.N915AUCS2C017 Baseband version on my phone. It works like a charm after spending days trying other stock build version I found online that had so many problems restarting the phone over and over. AT&T is trying to force a software update to 6.0 on my phone which simply wont work as the regular software update bricks my phone for some reason. Is there a setting I'm missing the just tells the phone not to accept any software updates from AT&T? I'm almost positive this update will screw weeks of tinkering and I finally got it working with 5.1.1. I want it to stay this way. Any ideas?
Thanks

Go to settings/security.
You'll find the update settings in there IIRC.
closest thing I see too that is "security policy updates option which is already check off for automatic updates. It seems to be the Device management that's always trying to download the software update and force update. Is this a hidden stock application?

Sorry I took so long getting back.
It's been a while since my 5.1.1 days.
Check in the section that says about device.
You should find your updates on/off listed in there.
You might want to turn off the cloud sync'ing settings as well.
The US version of the ZC520TL (X008DC) has a firmware/software update available that will take you from MRA58K.US_Phone-13.1.4.17-20161011 to MRA58K.US_Phone-13.1.4.43-17-20170215. Still Android version 6.0.
This downloaded before I could get a LogCat to capture the ASUS storage address.
Could some one else please capture a LogCat and post it here so we can download the firmware/software in order to help us gain root access?
I have the same model and there us no update?
So if there is no update, why did I receive a new software notice, go through the update and install process and then see my version numbers change? Also, the security patch changed from August 2016 to January 2017.
That sounds like all the parts that qualify as an update to me.

Hi,
Just updated my phone yesterday and had problems with my pattern unlock, it just doesn't work anymore, as every time you reboot your phone it asks for your pattern, even with a fingerprint unlock enabled I can't pass lock screen, anyone having same issues? Weird thing is that even missing the pattern several times (close to hundred) it never blocks for 30 seconds or asks "Did you forget you pattern?" to try my google pass instead...
Any help is appreciated, no debug mode enabled, so no adb/fastboot either...
Thanks in advance!

work for me
Is there any way to prevent a Galaxy S10e from from accepting the update? I just bought this phone from Verizon after my S5 was becoming really laggy after 5 years. My phone automatically downloaded the update, but I postponed it. I disable system auto updates under developer options and also under biometrics and security: other security settings: security policy updates. But I restarted my phone, and the update popped up and asked me to install now or later. I postponed it, but I'm afraid I won't be able to continue doing that. Any ideas?
Why don't you want to update to Android 10?

Various reasons. Is there a way to stop the update from happening once it's downloaded and in the "bug the user" loop?
I'd love to know this (prevent ota update) as well
I just got this phone, however I realized it was running on Android 11, not there recent Android 12 that came out. I checked and it's still saying it's updated but it isn't. The CSC code is TMK/TMK/VZW. The base version is G975USQU5GUCH, which is a Verizon/Comcast update. What should I do? The phone boots up with the Metro By T-Mobile logo, which is right but it doesn't receive updates.
Updates are patches for already installed Android, in your case Android 11. Updates get rolled out by OEM if they deem it necessary.
I have a small idea on what might be happening
The phone was using a software the carrier never used so when it became from what it was to TMK, they can't find updates to configure it. Is it possible to flash the next update with the correct CSC and it will configure it right?
Also the update screen is different
