GT-S7582 - Odin stuck at initialization and Kies is not working - Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2

Hi guys, I have a GT-S7582/Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 and it was on a stock firmware unrooted. I accidentally installed some virus apps on it, and voila! It is stuck on a bootloop, and only powers up in download mode. However this was not such a problem as it could be recovered using odin, but as soon as i used odin, i found out that odin was stuck initialization. I've tried installing/reinstalling drivers, changing from pc to pc and used a laptop too, tried different ports, used different cables (and yes, im not using a usb 3.0). I need help! I've been stuck here for days!

Remove the battery before you go into download mode and put it back in once Odin recognizes your phone.
Let me know if it works for you.

Sorry to hear that. Could you try using a different USB cable or PORT? Let the phone be connected in Odin mode and remove the battery. Wait for 2 - 5 minutes and assemble the battery again

The phone turns off when I pull the battery out ?

Sorry man! Please try this : Try to flash with Odin3 v1.82(or any older version). Once it gets stuck on "setup connection", close Odin3 v1.82 and open Odin3 v1.83(or latest version) and try flashing again.

[Q] Bricked phone. Odin and Oneclick does not recognize my device. Help?

I am not sure if i am on the right section. Just kindly move this thread to the right section if im wrong. Thanks.
So, i have flashed Cyanogenmod Rom on my GT 15800 phone using Odin Multidownloader v 2.252.
The flash was successful, then i tweaked on some settings on the recovery and got my phone bricked.
I can still access download mode through voldown+homekey+powerbutton.
Before, i can also access the recovery mode.
I have tried odin to reflash again CWM on my phone, but is stucked on factory.rfs for an hour so i tried to abort it. Closed Odin and unplugged the USB cable.
Now, i cant access the recovery mode. Whenever i open my phone and access recovery mode, i get this.
And Odin doesnt recognize my phone anymore.
Kies aren't running also.

Yes, my phone is connected to the computer and is in download mode. So i tried clicking on the resolution center.
So i tried the first solution and this is what i get.
Im running on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
When I tried the second one, everything worked fine.
And for the third one, it worked fine too.
Now, im running out of solutions on how to unbrick my phone. I have tried everything I can.
Can anyone help me?

After trying it with another PC, you were able to unbrick your phone?
Try re-installing your drivers, that may help you out
it looks like you need a 32bit Windows version to use OneClick Unbrick
give it a try on another pc
I have the Problem
hello i have the same problem.
im using Odin 3 but it doesnt reconized it, i got all the drivers, the oneClick Unbrick was avaible to brick back the device, but now i cant flash it anymore, because Odin doesnt reconized it.
ive tried everything please help me.
Im running everything on Windows 7 32bits
Try this.
Take out the battery.now, while the battery is out, plug your phone into pc,and while holding vol down+home+power and phone plugged in,someone that can help you needs to put the battery while you are holding all this.it worked that way for me,i had the odin doesnt recognize problem.i tried two pc's,it didnt work.

First of all remember if you have usb debugging is ON.Secondly try on other pc Desktop,Laptop,Macbook and different versions.Thirstly use odin 3.Finally if it's stuck it's software problem try searching the right Stock roms for your phone.Hope this helps..Be careful with modding your phone you can no longer use android.
Try flashing zerofill tar first through force recovery mode. Refer to my old post from profile for step by step procedure.

Looks like u have a brick. Have u tried this: homekey+menu+ volume up+ powerbutton? There should be forced upload by keys... if that comes u still have chance.

No chance the phone dont turn on and the pc not recognize it. i installed the usb drivers and kies and odin both not recognize it and it is not shown in the hardware monitor in windows it is completely death what should i do try with usb jig or something else or should i bring it to a samsung service center?
Bricked???
Ok in first place i want to know how did u brick your phone.Dont u know that bootloader must be removed before flashing.Did u remove it?
If yes then whats the other reason for bricking the phone
I rooted my phone before i flashed new rom... perhaps it's that bootloader what bricked your phone.

Did he flash bootloader? If he did, its a confirmed hardbrick. If he didn't, I think you need to check with the service centre. Maybe the phone has something wrong with its hardware.

hi
how to do that, how i must reinstall usb driver in my phone ?
You have to reinstall drivers on pc, not phone.
U flashed cfroot come from where?
And I think u have boot loop.
If you can go download mode, than u can do flashing stock ROM. Just have to settle your PC driver.
Try uninstall all driver, and shutdown and restart PC (not restart PC), and reinstall again
Or get another PC which never install Samsung driver, install on it and see if Odin can detect your phone.
Or, try different USB port.
Edit: if you flashed other model cfroot, you have no hope.

hi all
i think chongns has raison i'm sure i'm flashed with instead of cfroot kpe i've flashed a bagaria 09 gt i9003 pda but normally all sait it's cfroot universal then normally it's not a problem but after reset the phone is briked.

but i hope always.
FYI
i've alredy swap the usb cable
swap Os mac windows
Reinstall usb driver
try from odin/heimdall usb detection no good too
Strange Thing
battery life seem to be not good
when i connect the usb charge the screnn is blinking every 3, 5 seconds
and the batterie is not in charge when i've connected it to the usb power

[Q] Lenovo S820 boot loop help!

Hi! I recently purchased Lenovo S820 and I'm ultra happy with this device from any aspect! But.. Well, I searched but didn't find CWM for S820 to flash zips, so I decided to try Flash Gordon to flash a zip file, which, all in all, drove my device to have a boot loop, meaning that it stucks on the boot logo and never turns on. I know that the developer of Flash Gordon isn't responsible at all for my brick, but I don't know what to do now because the default recovery of Lenovo S820 is in chinese and I cannot understand a single thing. Can you help me translate it please? You can see the recovery pic below:

Same problem!
My Lenovo s820 is also stuck in a bootloop after I tried to flash a cwm to it using mobileuncle mtk tools
Now the phone won't go into recovery mode. Everytime I try, it gets stuck in the bootloop where it only shows the lenovo logo and goes off and boots to the same point again, and the loop continues.
It still goes into meta mode and factory mode.
I don't know where to find the stock rom, although I have a backup of it which I took using mtk droid tools
I tried restoring the backup while keeping my phone in meta mode but it did not work
Is it possible to flash the backup using flash tools? Could you give me a tutorial if possible? I'm new to android and don't know much
Please help! I'm panicking and don't know what to do!
First,install MTK preloader drivers
then dL SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1332.0.187
reflash with Stock ROM S820 ROW
after flashing stock rom,you can install
CWM Recovery using Flashtool again.

I put the phone in meta mode and started the flashing process
A pink progress bar happened about 3 or 4 times and then it just stops at 0% and nothing happens at all

You have to install the preloaded drivers first. Then start the flashing process on SP Flash Tools. You'll be prompted to connect your phone. That's when you have to hold the volume down button and connect it without the battery. Your phone will be connected then and the flashing process will happen normally. I had the same issue as you initially but I think its normal because I could still flash my phone and restore it.

First,install MTK preloader drivers
then dL SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1332.0.187
reflash with Stock ROM S820 ROW

Link is not working
Hey guys just a quick question. I recently saw a kitkat ROM for the S820 on needroms so I'm assuming lenovo finally rolled out an update and someone made some variations for it. What I want to know is if anyone has tried it, is it good, does it cause any problems, and is it easy to root?
Link to official ROM: http://www.needrom.com/download/lenovo-s820-vibeui-2-0/
Unofficial variations:
1. http://www.needrom.com/download/cyanotek-v1-0/
2. http://www.needrom.com/download/hexnus-snapshot-os-4-4-3/
3. http://www.needrom.com/download/flatdroid-os-4-4-3/

Its normal that it got disconnected by itself. You will see it only for few seconds like 2-5 secs. The moment you see it, you need to right click on it and need to install the driver. The driver too is quite small it merely 10Kb. Check this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2180436
Hope this helps.

Emergency Recovery - doesn't recognise device

Hey,
I just flashed the firmware from another region and I have no idea why but it has failed at the end of the transfert.
Now I've got the blue screen saying that I need to connect my device to my computer and use the Emergency recovery function in SmartSwatch but it doesnt recognise my device...
I tried to reinstall the driver, change the usb port but it keeps failing!
Any idea?
I still have access to the download mode but when I try with the same file it failed, I'll try to download another firmware to see if it works.
Thanks
Connect it to Kies on your computer and use Kies factory firmware recovery setting to get your phone back up and running.
Neither Kies, Kies3 or Smart Swatch was able to see my device???
However I was able to flash the firmware using Odin :good:
I may try to re-download and install again a firmware from another region but it's pretty scary now
Yeah I know it's pretty stupid but I really want this TWRP to be working^^

Ok now I have download but no software recognises my phone and Odin fails...
By forcing my mobile to go into download mod (push Home Button + Volume Down+Power) after a couple of attempts it finally goes into the download mod.
If you can go into the download mod but OdinPC still doesn't work you have to try with another computer but if you can't go into download mod....
Hope you can fix it
even i have the same issue with my phone, its not detected by smart switch or any kies at all and now my phone is just a brick, plz help.
did you try to downgrade your os?
if so you need a firmware equal or bigger than the one you installed.
once you enter your sn in smart switch it will start downloading fw for your phone, and store it temporary in a temp folder.
From there you can copy fw to some other location on your disk, and flash it via Odin.
Use odin to load the stock AP file. Solve my problem.
