CAR - Nissan Rogue 2015, OPO running recent CM 13 nighly.
After connecting to my car's bluetooth I can make exactly one phone call. Calling info is displayed correctly, audio is router thru bluetooth.
Once that call is ended the following calls don't show any calling info on radio display and audio is not being routed thru bluetooth.

3. second call is made with no BT audio.

Mercedes audio bluetooth connection without dialing

Hello all,
I am trying to connect my Bosses HTC touch Pro 2 to his bluetooth hands free in his merc. It is working well for normal calls but he wants to use skype/listen to voice mails etc
The phone can output system sound to bluetooth but in order for the sound to be heard in the car, you have to dial and number and press dial, you then hear the skype call for a few seconds but then the phone actually calls the number!!
If you dial an invalid number, the handfree disconnects the audio the second it displays no audio on the phone.
The Mercedes hards free kit is audio 20, sure the dial can somehow be disabled on the bluetooth audio device driver???
any help appreciated
Any ideas?
so basically want to establish audio connection but without the bluetooth hands free kit causing the phone to dial a number

[q] bluetooth audio not working with wifi calling

I'm on CM7 ALPHA 3 with sound_fix_update.zip installed to make my jawbone bt work and Wifi-Calling_Patch_v1.0.5.zip to get the wifi calling to work. The CM7 has a problem with sound through bluetooth so after installing the patch the sound worked perfectly for calls (not for media, but I can live with that for now). However, after installing the wifi-calling patch when I'm trying to use wifi-calling the sound gets routed to the handset and doesn't come through the bluetooth. when the call first initiates I can hear it for a sec on the bluetooth and then it immediately gets routed to the handset. I checked with regular headphones it doesn't even work with that either. When wifi-calling is off however, I'm able to use my bluetooth as normal for calls. Anyone have any ideas?

Calls shifting from bluetooth to phone without bluetooth connect

Since a while I am having an issue which I cannot explain nor solve. When I make a call in my car, with bluetooth connected, suddenly the call shifts from bluetooth to the phone. Withing the call app, I can shift back to speakerphone and then back to bluetooth, but after a while teh same happens. I am on CM12S, rooted, xposed installed.
Are there any known apps causing such issue? Can this be linked to profile changes?
I am sure it is not the carkit as I had the same in a different car.

Question Bluetooth issue when making calls

Hi,
I have a weird issue with what I would call - priority of Bluetooth devices in making phone calls.
Setup:
- Poco X3 Pro on the latest MIUI revision (12.5.2)
- car - Ford audio, Sync 3.4 patched yesterday to latest build, however the problem existed earlier
- Huawei Watch GT2.
Huawei Watch and Ford are paired with my phone.
The problem is affecting ability to use Ford's BT handsfree mode and talk through car's speakers and mic.
Issue #1:
- phone connected via BT to the car, no USB cable in use
- incoming calls - they are presented by car's audio system, I'm accepting the call, the conversation starts, car's audio (CD or FM radio) is muted but the call stays in phone, I need to manually pick up phone, go into active connection screen and move audio output to Ford BT device
- outgoing calls - same issue as with incoming calls
Issue #2
- phone connected with USB cable to the car audio system, Android Auto kicks in and enables BT in phone if it was switched off
- incoming calls - they are presented by car's audio system, I'm accepting the call, the conversation starts, car's audio (CD or FM radio) is muted but the call stays in phone, I can't use my phone, to go into active connection screen and move audio output to Ford BT device as it's now blocked by Andorid Auto, when I try to do the same on my car's touchscreen, using the AA phone app, Ford BT device is not even visible as available option
- outgoing calls - same issue as with incoming calls.
It happens very rarely that the phone connection audio ends up in my Huawei Watch.
When I turn off my Huwei Watch while driving the car - there is absolutely no issue, all connections properly end up in car's audio system.
I've found a workaround - found an app which presents a widget on the screen allowing to end and reestablish BT connection to my car. But as every workaround it has a drawback, I need to perform the operation twice, not even saying of taking the phone out of my pocket etc.
There was also no issue when I was using my previous phone LG G6 with Android Pie and AA installed from apk file. The car and watch were the same as now and there was absolutely no issue with phone calls being not redirected to car audio.
Can anyone share any insights on how to fix it ? It looks like some flaw in Android' or MIUI's logic to push phone call stream to the BT device which actually initiated/accepeted the call.
Thanks in advance for help.
Same here with a SEAT bluetooth system.
I discover that the problem is in the health app, if you disable permisions to telephone, contacts and registry of calls, it works, but you loose de number identification of incoming calls in the watch and you can't call through the watch.
Regards.
That's a huge lost TBH, do you suggest it's a bug on Huawei end ? Why did it work properly when I was using LG G6 on Android Pie ?
maybe....it's a bug with app of Huawei and android 11, i had a Mate 20 before the poco and never had this issue but the mate 20 have android 10...
P.D: If you see, when you make a call, the selector of audio source in the call panel variety very fast with watch and speaker...
regards.
Yes, I observed it too - when I answer the call, the audio output device selector makes some quick changes.
