Hello all,
I am trying to connect my Bosses HTC touch Pro 2 to his bluetooth hands free in his merc. It is working well for normal calls but he wants to use skype/listen to voice mails etc
The phone can output system sound to bluetooth but in order for the sound to be heard in the car, you have to dial and number and press dial, you then hear the skype call for a few seconds but then the phone actually calls the number!!
If you dial an invalid number, the handfree disconnects the audio the second it displays no audio on the phone.
The Mercedes hards free kit is audio 20, sure the dial can somehow be disabled on the bluetooth audio device driver???
any help appreciated
Any ideas?
so basically want to establish audio connection but without the bluetooth hands free kit causing the phone to dial a number

My Bluetooth headset is very "special". It only reproduces the sounds from the phone when its in a call, and therefore typical bluetooth audio rerouting programs that only place the audio through to the headset doesn't work.
I tried dialling "#" from the headset and audio streamed through for a few seconds before it realised the call was disconnected and stopped the audio again, and therefore I know that it needs a call to be initiated before it streams the audio. Dialling numbers other than hash, however, stops the audio because the phone would think it is a valid number and proceed to dial, costing money and stopping the music.
I need something else that would trick the phone/bluetooth headset to think it is taking a call when it isn't, so that I can listen to music through it.
Anyone have any ideas?
I have the same problem. My cars bluetooth receiver only comes on when the phone says "call coming in". I would like to use PocketPlayers bluetooth headset feature to play music through my car stereo.
Ok I am going to ask this question because there are way to many bluetooth programs here and I need to find a specific one.
All I want is for when I turn my headset on and its connected to my phone I want it to transfer the sounds to the headset and pull the microphone from the headset. So when its connected it immediately sends the sound to the headset; Not just in call sounds. I mean all sounds. I am using VITO VOice command so I just need it to send the sound to the headset and pull the microphone form the headset. Also I need it to send teh sound back to the headset after a call as well if a call is happening while using the headset for sound.
Can this be done?

Thanks nir36, I've just tried BTaudio but, unfortunately, it doesn't seem to reconnect the audio gateway after a call ends.

What I use is a program called BtMusic (available here: http://maxmobilesoft.com/index.php/software/btmusic). It is shareware, I think, but does pop up a message box when opening the program and every 5 or so times the gateway is established. I believe you can donate to get rid of these prompts, but you'd have to ask the author through that website. It isn't annoying if you don't need to keep reconnecting very often. BtMusic seems to have some advantages:
1. Reconnects automatically after a call ends.
2. Does not need the headset to be turned on before being enabled - it waits for the headset to connect and connects the gateway when it is found (you can therefore leave BtMusic running in the background and just turn on and off the headset as needed!).
3. Supports stereo headsets.
All the best,
Martin
Anybody have any other ideas?
Hi!
If my HD2 Rafdroid connected to BT hands free In the same time connected to my car stereo AUX, on incoming or on making call the sound of the call coming from my stereo, i can manualy change it every call to BT hand free.
what can i do for the sound to come from my HandsFree device Automaticly?
I have a LG Optimus G on ATT running jelly bean. I have the phone paired successfully via bluetooth to 2 different car's bluetooth handsfree voice activated phone system.
I am able to receive incoming phone calls (calls sounds play on car speakers). When I make a call dialed from the phone interface, it connects correctly and the sound plays in the car speakers normal.
However, when I try to make a phone call from the car interface (voice activated or otherwise), it attempts to dial, but never actually connects through. It does not have an error message, it just stops automatically like a dropped call. Its not a car issue since both cars (Kia and Nissan) have same issue.
I can't seem to find anything online about this. Solutions? TIA
Hello
I’m trying to resolve an issue i have with my Sony MW1 Bluetooth headset when doing Skype or Hangouts calls
For some reason when using a Bluetooth headset (Used a Sony MW1 Smart Wireless Headset Pro, set and a Fiat Blue&Me Car Bluetooth) the sound keeps breaking off both for me and the person I’m calling. I get long brake after witch the sound returns for a while.
I tried LTE/HSPA and WiFi calls all with the same result
When using a wired headset there is no issue like this. nor do I have the issue when i do regular phone calls using the sets
Furthermore sometimes the Bluetooth sound doesn’t turn on at all, so I get no sound neither on the loudspeaker nor on the Bluetooth set although the BT volume is set to max
Any idea how to resolve this?
