[Q] Pipboy gear theme

Hey Xda,
I dont know if this is a question or just a share. But Does soembody have the files of the Pipboy theme for the galaxy gear?

I think I have them on my laptop, I did a conversion of the theme to a wgt but could get no reply from the original developer on whether he was ok with me using his work.
I'll post it up later if I can find it.

some how the watch style doesnt work how it should be... i get the theme but not the right time and stuff its just big and white text.

I'm not sure why that would happen, I never quite got it to work right with watch styler. That's why I made the widget instead. Just remove the zip and install it from the sdk.

eeeh okey.. Got a small tutorial?

Tried to make a clean background for all of the other pages for this but seems the BG_Part.png image in it is an older image

Not working for me.
I tried to install the .wgt, and get Invalid signature (22)

Can't install .wgt
When I try to install the wgt file it says there's a problem with a signature

i recommend getting multi-watch both from the play store as well as from samsung gear apps which will cost you around $3 but its well worth it.. after installing the app it will direct you to the page where in the search bar you can just type pip and it will direct you to the theme which you can just download and quickly install.. if you have the gear 2 this is that app to get..

You can actually unzip the Flashable Zip and install the apk manually...

Never mind. I see that if I click a link outside of a browser, like in Gmail it works fine. I thought it would work in Chrome. Thanks!

It's cool to be able to click a link and go right to a pop up, but I'm just pointing out Note 4 stock internet browser can be put in to pop up in a couple ways.

I missed this after having a Note 2, even though there's similar kind of a few different pop up browsers, this is straight to the pop up. Thx!

Don't know how to manually install

lies its the stock browser opened in multiwindow as in it dont work without the stockbrowser. the legacy version premiered on the note 2 and was completely independent of the stockbrowser

[SOLVED][Help]Gallery app permission problem

Solved!
What made the gallery app that way was because I've debloated too much apps. I haven't found out what exact app I've removed to make gallery app behave like this though.
Hi there, i'm on echoerom and I just made a factory reset.
After setting up my device I noticed i can't enter the gallery app unles I give it permissions on calendar. However when i try to give it permission, there is no option for calendar to be enabled. Please help.

This samsung gallery apk is s***.. Go with Piktures apk perfect galler.. Only problem is that another samsung s*** apk camera wont let you review picture straight form camra.. And then they ask why the f*** we need to root them phones?

hi, i had exactly the same issue and the only way to make the app work again was to use an older version from a XXU1APC8 firmware. uninstall the gallery and move this apk to priv-app, set the right permissions and reboot. should work afterwards.

It's not a flashable zip
It's just a zip containing the pictures of the navbar

S7 Edge BuildProp
The S7 Edge already has the S8 softkeys installed, but are disabled by default. If rooted, open up build.prop and search for "qemu.hw.mainkeys". Change the value to 0 and reboot.

How can I install them?

I enabled them today on my S6. They're cool but i noticed that in certain app they are not visible... how can i change the keys color?

If they can't easily be changed via the Theme Store, there is no way I'm getting the phone. Those stock softkeys are so ugly I don't even want the phone.

Have the s7 edge and just searched for the key in build.prop and doesnt exist.

How to
Extract images from zip file, and place them to where you can find them.
Use smartbar editor on roms which have it, and chose icon from gallery.
Settings >
Configurations / Rom Specific Settings >
Navigation >
Smartbar Settings >
Toggle Button Editor >
Longpress on button, and select Icon from gallery.

Based on those images, it seems like Samsung has navigation soft key support for "notifications down" and "menu button", as well as "keyboard input method". However, I realize the "notifications down" arrow is probably just to collapse the keyboard.
Can these keys be added to the nav bar really? Does a menu overflow button (the three dots) really exist as an S8 nav button?

Bro, i had the same issue, and did the same and never had any issues of installing updates from apkmirror. Is the problem with all the files or with some files ?

If your s7 is rooted, install the root explorer apk and download the S.Interner apk v7.0. Then go to root apk and push permissions. You can see 2 parts. In the left you should go to the system folder and entry in the app or priv-app. There, you should see Browser folder and see your browser apk installed. Now, go to the right part, and look sd card folder or the folder where you download the v.7. Then, copy the v.7 to the browser folder. You must see that the v.7 is name like com.samsung..... and the browser installed is name like browser_Vx (x=number). In the file of the new version, push on it and see the option to permissions and you must tick only the three options on reader and the first on writer. Then push ok, and push again on the new version file, rename it with the name of Browser like the apk installed (if you see the advice to already app with this name; delete the version installed and left the new). Reboot the phone and that's it. (Note: if the browser can't open, go settings > apps > browser > clean data and enjoy it)
