It's just a zip containing the pictures of the navbar

The S7 Edge already has the S8 softkeys installed, but are disabled by default. If rooted, open up build.prop and search for "qemu.hw.mainkeys". Change the value to 0 and reboot.

I enabled them today on my S6. They're cool but i noticed that in certain app they are not visible... how can i change the keys color?

If they can't easily be changed via the Theme Store, there is no way I'm getting the phone. Those stock softkeys are so ugly I don't even want the phone.

Have the s7 edge and just searched for the key in build.prop and doesnt exist.
How to
Extract images from zip file, and place them to where you can find them.
Use smartbar editor on roms which have it, and chose icon from gallery.
Settings >
Configurations / Rom Specific Settings >
Navigation >
Smartbar Settings >
Toggle Button Editor >
Longpress on button, and select Icon from gallery.

Based on those images, it seems like Samsung has navigation soft key support for "notifications down" and "menu button", as well as "keyboard input method". However, I realize the "notifications down" arrow is probably just to collapse the keyboard.
Can these keys be added to the nav bar really? Does a menu overflow button (the three dots) really exist as an S8 nav button?

Hello Guys. im trying to reproduce the s5 quicksettings with its original colors and everything. so far i used wanam xposed for the colors and quicksettings xposed app for the icons. But when i try to make the status panel background color blue intead of black the brightness slider background gets bugged and it goes black.

1) Open Root Explorer
2) Go to /system and find build.prop
3) Press build.prop while 1-2seconds.
4) Press Open in Text Editor
5) Edit these things to "SM-N900S"
ro.product.name=SM-N900S
ro.product.device=SM-N900S
You will get s5 status bar

Softkeys look great though!
EDIT: Found Android L Softkeys on the G2 forums that you can install as a normal APK and find under the button settings with the rest. Works fine on the G3!

I tried with perfect colorbar xposed module, but doesn´t works, gradient still appears in no-system applications.

Don't get your hopes up. Seems to break WiFi.
Use Flat Style Colored Bars xposed module and set overlay style to Android L. This is what worked on my Honor 4c Emui 4.0.

And why you guys just don't do this? Copy your SystemUi.apk onto your computer. Use Photoshop or any other program working with png, change these to transparent:
nav_background.9.png and status_background.9.png located in res/drawable-xxhdpi-v4.
Then replace this modified SystemUi apk in your /system/priv-app and you can apply any theme as gradients are gone for ever.
Can we remove white status bar as in the pic below and make it the same as blue colour below it.?

Just found a way to enjoy all themes with stock icon's, and no root needed!
A lot of themes are almost perfect and missing 1 thing, stock icon's!
All you need is this Galaxy care app.

Using the mod used by zoya4u which are the right credits, I added, with the help of my friend Carotix, the following mods which add to the systemUI of the s9 and S9plus other very useful features..
The mod, created by me, add tap for "Screen Off" , double Tap for active the camera and long pressure for active power menu at the top right, on the battery icon, these mods fuction work fine on BRGA , BRH1, BRH4 , BRI1 and BRI3 version.
