Hello, i have an Alcatel Idol 3 5,5 (6045) and i decided to root it, so installed all that i needed (drivers, adb ..). But the problem is that i need to unlock the OEM thing, so i need to flash my smartphone to its original stock ROM, so i downloaded the Panasonic Eluga Switch one (which is a rebranded idol 3) and launched it, but the problem it seem that my device CAN'T load in download mode, i tried anything :
Uninstalling/Reinstalling all drivers
Executing the software as administrator
Executing the software with Windows XP compatibility mode
The volume + and - and USB method
The ADB method, it worked for anything else (rebooting in fastboot and recovery mode) but it won't work for the download one, it just reboot normally, i don't know why all is exactly correct, i tested with MTP and PTP usb modes, and in two differents windows, and nothing worked at all.
Please, is someone have the solution to boot my stupid idol 3 on download mode i would be grateful to him. Cordially.

You don't Know how to go to Download Mode...
Just Turn off the device ..Press Volume UP AND DOWN AND POWER BUTTON AND THEN JUST CONNECT with usb and you will get RED SCREEN just press VOLUME UP until You will get Black Screen

Hi, i forgot it but its not actually my smartphone, but my friend one. And i use teamviewer to help with stuff, we did the USB method many time and he told me that it didn't work, no matter what he does

Yes i know, but we need first to get in the download mode, ur indications helping us but the problem is that i'm not sure about one step :
Does he need to maintain VOLUME UP, DOWN and POWER at the same time while plugging the USB cable ? Or just maintain them, wait for the idol 3 to start and after plugging the USB cable before it load the system ? Thanks in advance. (excuse me for my poor english)

The screen remains black in download mode, aftsr you get the red screen(volume up/down and power) then volume up screen will go black and remain black, that is normal behavior...

There is an emergency mode you can try as long as you have the software on your computer to flash factory settings on to your phone.
Toemergency mode:
1) Take out the battery
2) Have a usb cable already connected to the computer.
3) Hold the power button + volume up + back button AND then connect the usb while holding those buttons
Yellow screen will appear with the words emergency mode in the middle.
At this point, do some forum searching, find some kind of stock image file and LG program to flash stock system on to the phone.
**I DONT OWN THIS DEVICE** but i had a few cases and this should work for you too

My PC don't a find any usb cable from the phone..in the device menager in PORTS show me UKNOWN USB !
i can't connect a phone on PC

Your device is hard-bricked. Your only bet in LG. Go to LG and tell them you turned it off, and now it doesn't start up
That thing happened to my phone a year ago. You can't do nothing at home. Go to a service.

Hey guys how are you?
Well a friend gave me an OPO that is really bricked.
Seems like it went to 0% of battery. I charged it to 100% but it does not boot. It stays in loop with the "cyanogen" logo
I tried every solution in every "hard brick resolution" thread.
Instaled ColorOS drivers, Samsung drivers, etc etc etc. nothing works, why? Well..
When i plug the phone on my computer, its recognized has MTP device. The "update driver" option is disabled. Its never recognized as qhsusb_bulk our adb or anything.
It does not seems to enter in fastboot mode ether, has i press vol up + power and it goes to the cyanogen logo again.
Im trying to do this recovery with an windows 10 64bit computer.
I tried to install qualcomm drivers also, but not compatible with my OS.
Not really sure what to do next..
I had the same issue. Tried VOLUME+DOWN multiple times until it worked and showed up as "QHSUSB_BULK" and then used the OnePlusRestoreTool to unbrick the phone.
Manually selected these drivers for Windows 10 64bit through the Device Manager here:
Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 2.1.0.5

But i tried 20 something times to power on the mobile phone with vol up and no luck. still appears in the device manager as MTP device
Steps im taking:
1- Connect the phone with USB cable. Its starts charging.
2-let the screen go off then power + vol up. I let go power button has soon as the phone vibrates.
3-goes to cyanogen log and appears on the device manager as mtp usb device

Try it on a native USB port, so try different ports. Or if you have access to more than one pc/laptop try it on different ones.
I had the same issue a couple of months ago on my wife's oneplus. Spent an hour on my laptop and no go. Fired up the desktop and worked first time.

Yes. i Tried both :/
1st thing if it shows the cyanogen logo its not hard brick as per my knowledge.
Yes as suggested try different ports.

thx. my opo is un bricked. but now back to the problem before I bricked it.
the phone baseband is unknown (no efs save)

If i click vol up + power it goes to the cyanogen logo and stays there...forever..

So, in advance, thanks for your help. font know if this can be solved but its nice having someone interested in helping.
So, what i have:
- An OPO that doesn't boot.
- When i press the power button, it shows the one plus logo, and then the cyanogen logo, staying there forever..
- When i press vol up + power, it does the exactly same thing, never entering fastboot
- When i press vol down + power, it does the same thing. never entering recovery
I've prepared an old notebook with windows xp to unbrick the opo. Its completly clean.
The phone is always recognized has mtp device. I've installed all drivers on the internet. ColorOS, samsung, qualcomm, etc etc, everything. nothing works has its never detected in msm8974 or anything.
what can i do?

This might help!
If nothing works email oneplus and request for a remote session i did that and they flashed the os, and ps. while doing that they will tell you to download some files and in that some will be password protected and after completing the process they will delete the file so that we cant use it. If possible, after installing drivers they will tell u to reboot the system and log in back but after rebooting just copy the file to another place and then log in back so they can continue the process. Those files may be helpful for a lot of people.I have attached screen shots. Never mind the first folder, the remaining zip files are to be downloaded and in that two are password protected.
I used the LG Flash tool 2014 to CSE flash a kdz file, everything went alright until it finish loading at the Download mode. The phone turned off, computer can't detect my phone drive anymore. The phone is completely dead, can't charge and basically have no sign at all!!!!! When I now plug into the computer, it appears as OHSUSB_BULK on device manager. Please Please Please! Could any experts could help me out of this? Huge thank you!

Can you try to startup to download mode manually? If possible, then you still be able to flash the kdz again.

When you press or hold the power button, do you see any screen popup with error?
The error you have seen, can you capture the screenshot and share to us?
I did encountered very bad problem on my GPRO2 before (When power up, it just showed few lines). I thought it was bricked, after few tries... I managed to fix it. I just trying to help here.

Basically, I could not boot up my phone at all, tried to boot in download mode but still fail to do so. All I can see is when I plug in USB to the computer, it appears as QHSUSB_BULK on device manager. Please Help!

Hey man, any solution? Just got this problem too. Installed Xposed on my F350K running on 4.4.2. Computer only detected my phone as QHSUSB_BULK with a bunch of storage device. holy cow, just got this phone for 2 days

A phone shop bricked my phone. Now it is not powered on if the battery inside. It also not power on without battery, but atleast when i connect it to USB http://telewizor.eu/displaylink.html , the red light at the phone (near camera) turn on. The pc also not detecting the phone.

maybe you have flashed wrong ROM. be careful not to confuse with ROW or CN rom. try press VOLUME UP + VOLUME DOWN and connect usb cable to your PC. works with mine.

I was able to get it to work after reinstalling the LG USB drivers and trying a different USB port (from 3.0 to 2). All I did was hold the volume up button and plug in the phone. Something blue and different flashed for just an instant before the unlocked bootloader warning showed. That warning stayed for about 10 seconds and then it went into download mode a few moments later.
Hopefully that helps.
All you guys that are having trouble getting into download mode. This should help. First, power OFF your device. Next, plug a usb cable into your computer and then while holding volume UP on the device, plug in the other end of the usb cable into the phone. You can let go of the volume up key as soon as you see "Firmware Update" on the screen. It's that easy.
