Kindly help, I have gone through everything on the net but TWRP not working, after flashing and booting to recovery it displays 'recovery not SEANDROID ENFORCING', is there any other way other than CF auto root? Thanks
Cf auto root will work.
Make sure you have the following:
Developer options
ADB debugging on
OEM unlock on
Verify apps over USB off
Flash cf auto root through Odin and as it reboots,
Hold vol +/home/power
Keep holding until the red warning stays.
Release then wait
Phone screen will glitch and reboot a couple of times then presto change-o you are root.

unfortunatly this method is false and will not work do not try doing it this way, just wait for an official thread working without an auto root option, ex.. TWRP recovery, odin, superusser etc.

This method DOES work. The trick is you have to press the vol. up, home, and power buttons as soon as the screen goes black after Odin flash. Hold for 10 seconds and let go all buttons. Just wait let it do it's thing. That's it.

It does work for some phones, but not all. My girlfriend and I just got this phone, it worked for mine but not for hers. Mine showed the Galaxy splash screen with the red text, then switched to a screen with distorted colors. Hers just goes black after a while then goes back to the splash screen repeatedly. I even tried holding the buttons for a good 10 minutes. It will just boot up normally once I finally let go.

Is there any difference between the two phones. Take a close look please and post. Maybe there is something people haven't noticed.

I thought there might be something different as well. Everything matches up though. I compared the "About Device" menu on both phones, everything is exactly the same. Also, we just got our phones a couple days ago, but I tried doing a factory reset and it still didn't work.

Hi all, so i got my S6 international today and decided to immediately root it with cf autoroot. Something whent wrong although Odin reported it as successful. Now my phone won't boot up and gets stuck in the bootscreen. Can't get in download mode anymore. Anybody has an solution?
For some reason i can't upload a screen shot but it's the default screen saying
Samsung
Galaxy S6
Powered by
Android
Thanks in advanced,
Mark
Try holding the 3 buttons to get into download mode till you reach download mode. What I did is I released them when the black screen appeared. That just makes your phone reboot again. So hold it till you reach download mode. Then this worked for me:

Thanks for the reply, i accedently held the three keys after reboot and i came into download mode again. Flashed the stock rom and now I'm back in business

Ok I'll try it

hey all,
i was trying to root my note 2. ive done this once before but this time something went wrong. everytime i tried rooting it( through odin), it showed pass but whenever i tried to open super su, it said super su couldn't find binary *something* and its unable to create one. and a notification kept popping up saying that an unauthorized access to some secure files or areas has been blocked. so i tried rooting again and again but nothing happened. then my friend told me to factory reset my phone. i did as told. but now my phone is stuck at the samsung logo. i thought it may start later but i left it there for 2 hours and still the screen shows the samsung logo and the blue notification led light
please help me. also my custom binary download counter has reached to 13
so please please please help me ASAP. I cant afford to buy a new phone at this moment. also i know this is just a software problme so i dont wanna waste my money by giving my phone to the service center. So please you guys help me. :'(

Here's an unbrick tutorial: http://galaxynote2root.com/galaxy-note-2-tutorials/how-to-unrootunbrick-galaxy-note-2-with-stock-firmware/
Report back on how it went.
i will try that for sure but i forgot to mention one more problem, while i try to access my recovery mode by using home+ volume up + power button, nothing happens. only my screen flickers for some time and then i get back to the samsung galaxy note 2 logo. if i leave the button, my screen( above the home key, back key and options key) vibrates but nothing on display.
I think you only need download mode to unbrick, not recovery

If you want root you're probably better off flashing TWRP through ODIN and then flashing supersu.zip using TWRP.
https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip
Before you read my problem plz note that i am only 16 and i have very little knowledge about anything related to rooting.
I rooted my phone a month ago because i wanted to use Xmod for Clash of Clans. I tried using Kingroot but it didnt work so i installed TWRP using Odin through my pc. After that i flashed SuperSU and the phone got rooted.
I didnt want xmod anymore so i decided to unroot my phone. I wanted to install the stock recovery and i read that i can do this by flashing the recovery.img file using Flashfy. So when i flashed it the app said that i need to reboot my device. So i pressed reboot and the screen went blank. But it didnt reboot. The screen that says Samsung Galaxy J7, which comes whenever i reboot or restart my phone, shows up but doesnt change. It also says "recovery is not seandroid enforcing" on top of the screen. It started coming when i installed TWRP. Nothing happened when i long pressed the power button. So i took out the battery, put it back and did 3 things:
1) Switching it on using the power button,
2) Directly going to recovery, and
3) Putting it for charging without switching it on.
The same screen comes everytime. PLEASE tell me what has gone wrong as soon as possible and if there is a way to fix this. Thanks a lot in advance.

I have already asked the question on Q&A but there has been no reply. I will keep checking. Thanks again
Okay so I bought this S6, 2 days ago from a guy really cheap. I have some experience with Samsung devices so I thought I could fix it piece of cake turns out I can't. So I got twrp, and download mode working and I can transfer files to the phone while in twrp no problem. Download mode works fine too. The problem I have is that whatever I do the phone shows the "Samsung Galaxy S6, powered by android" logo and then the screen turns black. The little led light keeps shining blue light and the phone even vibrates sometimes.
At first I though that I could just flash stock 6.0.1 rom though odin and I did that. Same problem black screen (I got the firmware from sammobile). After that I tried the tyrannus rom and I followed his instruction and same problem again. At last I tried XtreStoLite and same problem. A guy in another thread told me that I need to reflash a kernel so I tried the SpaceX MM Kernel and still the same problem.
Oh almost forgot the device is the SM-G920F.
Any thoughts?
So you have TWRP, format all data.
Download the modem and bootloader for MM and flash with odin in download mode.

https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24531172553916564 under CP button
Then flash stock 6.0.1 firmware

I've done exactly that and now I tried it again. So after everything is flashed I get the "Samsung Galaxy S6, powered by android" and then a blue droid logo that said "Installing system update" and something about erasing data, then it went back to "Samsung Galaxy S6, powered by android" and then black screen with a blue/cyan light. How long should I wait on that screen? I waited about 10 minutes and then I got a vibration from the phone but still black with the light. The samsung boot animation should come up if it's working right?

I clicked "backup" and it says that Boot is 28MB, System 3352MB, Data 766MB, Cache 0MB, Modem 42MB and EFS 2MB. This is so weird, I've never had this problem on any phone. By the way I let it "boot" for 20 minutes and after that vibration I got nothing more out of it.
EDIT: I tried to get it to boot again by just pressing reboot in twrp and now the "Samsung Galaxy S6, powered by android" keeps poping up and then it turns black and then it pops up again.
Are you flashing the correct country/carrier firmware?

Should that matter? The guy I bought the phone from said that it was unlocked and I've tried to flash the Nordic firmware from Sammobile. There's 2 swedish stock firmwares, one is "Tre" and the other one is "VDS". I don't know what "VDS" means even though I tried to google it and Tre should be really bad for my reception. Should I try to flash the vds one?

Is it still like that? You can stop it by holding the buttons for download mode and it will power off to go into download mode but when it powers off just press buttons for recovery and you will be back there.

So after flashing the Sweden(VDS) it went back to the black screen, so I did a battery pull vol down + power and then I tried to start it again. Now it got to 2 cog wheels spinning and saying Android is starting optimizing app x out of 32. Then it went to Android is starting and starting apps. I waited there for 10 minutes and I got a vibration and then nothing, the cog wheels only kept spinning. Seems like it got stuck there. So I did the battery pull again, black screen then I tried to do a factory reset in the stock recovery and nothing change. Now I'm getting the black screen again.
This is so weird :crying:
OK! Try to flash it again and when you see optimizing turn the phone off. Then make a factory reset and boot up to see what is going to do.

Okay, so I flashed the Sweden(VDS) and then when it booted it ended up with black screen, and then I did the battery pull and I got back to the android is starting screen with the cog wheel. Then I turned the phone off and and did a factory reset with samsungs recovery. Then when I started it I ended up with black screen again so I did a battery pull once again and started it. Then I got to the Android is starting screen with the cog wheels again, it changed the language to swedish though. Then it started optimizing apps xx of 34 and now its stuck at Android is starting starting apps. Do you think this might be a hardware problem? I'm have no clue what to do anymore.
Right now I'm downloading the Sweden(Tre) stock rom from sammobile, will report back later of if there's some changes.
If it is a hardware problem I can't think of what could it be. Anyways, waiting on the report. Hope this will work!
@Nedrozak Okay after a break I continued to try, the Sweden(Tre) firmware won't flash in odin. I've also tried to flash the phone in Kies and Smart Switch PC. Both programs ended up the same as before with the black screen with the blue led light. I couldn't even get it to the optimizing screen. I've also tried 5.1.1 and I can get it to the optimizing apps screen too, 5.0.2 can't be flashed.
I also found out using Kies and Smart Switch PC that the original firmware the phone used to have is the NEE firmware (Nordic Countries). Tomorrow I might go and ask some tech shop to estimate a repair cost, I might be able to get a new motherboard too for free we'll see what happens. I'm like out of options anyway seems like no one else on this forum seems to have the same problem so maybe it's the hardware that's faulty.
The last thing I might try is a custom rom like cyanogenmod, that I can try to flash otherwise I'm out of ideas, and energy too :silly:
Maybe leave it on cogwheels Android is starting and Starting apps during night? Then I'm afraid that the screen will burn and the screen in almost new and worth a bit of money.

Yes, it will be very bad to leave it on. Maybe going to the tech shop is the best option even if you can't get free motherboard.
Hey guys,
I flashed DARKLORD's S8 port yesterday evening. Everything was perfect. However, I noticed that the ROM was rooted with SuperSU system-less and thus didn't pass SafetyNet. I wanted to install Magisk in order to get Magisk Hide and pass SafetyNet. So I checked which kernel the ROM used. It was SuperStock 2.5.0.
I downloaded a clean, non-rooted SuperStock 2.5.0 kernel and flashed it through the recovery in order to get rid of SuperSU. The next reboot took really long. I went to bed after waiting for 30min, leaving the phone plugged in and on the Samsung boot logo with the typical blue notification LED that shines when the phone powers on. When I woke up the next morning, I noticed that the notification LED had turned off, but the Samsung logo was still there. I force rebooted the phone with the power-volumedown-homebutton combination. I noticed that it took quite long for the phone to turn back on again after the screen went black (10 seconds or so). I went into recovery and flashed DARKLORD's ROM again in order to get the original, working kernel back. Halfway through the flashing process the phone turned off and now it's dead.
I plugged it in for an hour, nothing. Not even the notification LED turns on when plugging it in. I can't get into download mode or recovery, I can't do anything.
Is my only option to send it to Samsung or is there any other way to get it to work again? Thank you in advance!

Can you Boot into Download Mode or TWRP Recovery? If Recovery isn't working for you - Boot into Download Mode and use Odin to Flash the Stock Firmware - And extracted then Flash TWRP img.tar with Odin and go from there.
Edit: just re-read your post and you are certain that you can't get into Download Mode? Have you tried to only Press Power and Volume Down as well?

I tried everything. Nothing worked, it did nothing. As I said, not even the LED turned red when I plugged it in. In the end, I went to a Samsung support center and they replaced it. Apparently it was so broken that they couldn't even find out that it had Knox 0x1....
