Hi all, so i got my S6 international today and decided to immediately root it with cf autoroot. Something whent wrong although Odin reported it as successful. Now my phone won't boot up and gets stuck in the bootscreen. Can't get in download mode anymore. Anybody has an solution?

Thanks in advanced,
Mark

Try holding the 3 buttons to get into download mode till you reach download mode. What I did is I released them when the black screen appeared. That just makes your phone reboot again. So hold it till you reach download mode. Then this worked for me:

Thanks for the reply, i accedently held the three keys after reboot and i came into download mode again. Flashed the stock rom and now I'm back in business

No problem! Fyi: the latest chainfire update makes the autoroot work. I'm on the international version too

Ok I'll try it

Wish I could root my Canadian variant

Well after 2 attempts it finally works

Hi everybody,
I have installed TWRP on my SM-P601 galaxy note 10.1 using odin on this link teamw.in/project/twrp2/206. It's succesfully installed but i couldn't get into recovery mod, i've tried all the button combinaisons but couldnt!

Without the charger it stays on this until the battery runs out! and when i put the charger it runs and get stuck in the bootloop again. is there away to fix this wit
having to take off the battery? i can get in download mode !

I have exactly the same problem now. I tried to update a kernel via TWRP and now boot loop. I can't even get into download mode, let alone recovery mode, just reboots automatically when hold the power button down.

I don't get into download mode at the first try i keep trying many times, maybe it's the same thing for you too. apparently i need to flash stock rom with odin on download mode, that's what you should do too if you get to download mode.

Noobie here, and not sure if I know enough to make much sense.
I had a similar situation occur today.
New to me but a 2nd hand p600 which rooted today and then I used Odin 3.10.6 to flash TWRP and found myself in a boot loop similar to the description.
I panicked bigtime and feverishly googled my way to to this message thread and my hopes were raised when I read the OPs message and then got dashed to find no solution posted .
After perhaps 20 attempts of getting combined button pushes and releases correct. (it never happened ) I was desperately trying almost anythiing and then got to TWRP File manager, then Reboot, then System, then Normal Reboot and finally Success! I got the regular reboot. Phew!
Hope it helps
Well, I let it sit over the weekend and the battery complete depleted. I was then able to get into TWRP and Download mode when I applied power, I have since flashed a new rom and whewwww, up and running again. Before the battery went dead, it wouldn't do anything but reboot.....

Galaxy Tab 7.7 (P-6800) not booting into Download Mode

STORY
I installed a stock ROM for my Galaxy Tab 7.7 (P-6800) and it was stuck at the flashing SAMSUNG logo (the one with the tune) and so I just left it there and went to sleep. The next day I tried turning on the tablet but it didn't work so I booted into Download Mode and did a NAND erase. I was planning to install a stock ROM from SAMMOBILE but now I can't boot into Download Mode. When I try to, it goes into the warning screen and after a second or so, it becomes black. I figured it could have been out of battery or a button is broken. I have tried charging the tablet with wall charger (2.1A) but it doesn't seem to work. I could occasionally get it successfully into Download Mode but it will turn off itself for no reason.
PROBLEM
THE PROBLEM IS THAT I CANNOT BOOT INTO ANYTHING NOT EVEN DOWNLOAD MODE SO PLEASE DON'T GIVE ME GUIDES ON HOW TO FLASH.
I'M ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR A GUIDE ON HOW TO ENTER DOWNLOAD MODE WITHOUT USING PHYSICAL BUTTONS.
THERE IS NO ROM INSTALLED SO DON'T TELL ME TO GO THE TERMINAL OR ANYTHING. IT IS ABSOLUTELY EMPTY ONLY HARDWARE AND DOWNLOAD MODE IS INSIDE THE TABLET.
Anyways, please help. I am trying to get daniel_hk's cyanogen mod on this for my friend and I don't think he would expect me giving a bricked tablet to him.
Dead battery maybe?
Do you guys think I joined the dead battery club?

Plz help, samsung galaxy s7 edge is on continous boot loop

how to i fix my samsung galaxy s7 edge from boot loop
Enter recovery, power and volume up.
Enviado do meu SM-G935F através de Tapatalk
You need to know the button combos.
S6 + S7 Button Combos
If you are in a bootloop, press Power + Vol down simultaneous to force a reboot and when it reboots switch fast to Power + Home + Vol up to go into recovery where you can restore or flash a new rom.
Or you go into Download mode with Power + Home + Vol down in the same way and flash a stock rom over Odin. :highfive:

I've got same issue here. Phone is in continuous boot loop.
no root, no custom rom, hell I just received the phone a day ago... after initial set up I restarted the phone. The device is stuck in boot loop since...
I tried flashing latest stock ROM including Bootloader and CSC via Odin... I get a PASS! but stay in bootloop
Any suggestions? Very frustrating...
My S7e (AT&T) all of a sudden started soft-rebooting yesterday. It would do this about every 60 seconds.
I powered off, waited 30 seconds, and powered back on. No more reboots.
Not sure what happened to cause the reboots, but a hard boot seemed to fix it.

Instead of sending messages overhere: back to the shop where you bought it and demand a new one!

Got it with a contract, pretty sure they will send it in instead of giving me a new one. But it looks like i do might have to send it in ... although I really, really prefer not to. It is easter holidays, so shops closed, but even when they reopen... I'd be left without a phone for the time
Have you tried Kies? That would be official.

How to root Samsung Galaxy J700t tmobile variant android 6.0.1

Kindly help, I have gone through everything on the net but TWRP not working, after flashing and booting to recovery it displays 'recovery not SEANDROID ENFORCING', is there any other way other than CF auto root? Thanks
Cf auto root will work.
Make sure you have the following:
Developer options
ADB debugging on
OEM unlock on
Verify apps over USB off
Flash cf auto root through Odin and as it reboots,
Hold vol +/home/power
Keep holding until the red warning stays.
Release then wait
Phone screen will glitch and reboot a couple of times then presto change-o you are root.

unfortunatly this method is false and will not work do not try doing it this way, just wait for an official thread working without an auto root option, ex.. TWRP recovery, odin, superusser etc.

This method DOES work. The trick is you have to press the vol. up, home, and power buttons as soon as the screen goes black after Odin flash. Hold for 10 seconds and let go all buttons. Just wait let it do it's thing. That's it.

It does work for some phones, but not all. My girlfriend and I just got this phone, it worked for mine but not for hers. Mine showed the Galaxy splash screen with the red text, then switched to a screen with distorted colors. Hers just goes black after a while then goes back to the splash screen repeatedly. I even tried holding the buttons for a good 10 minutes. It will just boot up normally once I finally let go.

Is there any difference between the two phones. Take a close look please and post. Maybe there is something people haven't noticed.

I thought there might be something different as well. Everything matches up though. I compared the "About Device" menu on both phones, everything is exactly the same. Also, we just got our phones a couple days ago, but I tried doing a factory reset and it still didn't work.

Have you ever found a work around for this problem? Sounds like I got unlucky with one that doesnt get rooted..

Hard Bricked S7 After Stuck on Samsung Logo

Hey guys,
I flashed DARKLORD's S8 port yesterday evening. Everything was perfect. However, I noticed that the ROM was rooted with SuperSU system-less and thus didn't pass SafetyNet. I wanted to install Magisk in order to get Magisk Hide and pass SafetyNet. So I checked which kernel the ROM used. It was SuperStock 2.5.0.
I downloaded a clean, non-rooted SuperStock 2.5.0 kernel and flashed it through the recovery in order to get rid of SuperSU. The next reboot took really long. I went to bed after waiting for 30min, leaving the phone plugged in and on the Samsung boot logo with the typical blue notification LED that shines when the phone powers on. When I woke up the next morning, I noticed that the notification LED had turned off, but the Samsung logo was still there. I force rebooted the phone with the power-volumedown-homebutton combination. I noticed that it took quite long for the phone to turn back on again after the screen went black (10 seconds or so). I went into recovery and flashed DARKLORD's ROM again in order to get the original, working kernel back. Halfway through the flashing process the phone turned off and now it's dead.
I plugged it in for an hour, nothing. Not even the notification LED turns on when plugging it in. I can't get into download mode or recovery, I can't do anything.
Is my only option to send it to Samsung or is there any other way to get it to work again? Thank you in advance!

Can you Boot into Download Mode or TWRP Recovery? If Recovery isn't working for you - Boot into Download Mode and use Odin to Flash the Stock Firmware - And extracted then Flash TWRP img.tar with Odin and go from there.
Edit: just re-read your post and you are certain that you can't get into Download Mode? Have you tried to only Press Power and Volume Down as well?

I tried everything. Nothing worked, it did nothing. As I said, not even the LED turned red when I plugged it in. In the end, I went to a Samsung support center and they replaced it. Apparently it was so broken that they couldn't even find out that it had Knox 0x1....

Hmmm sounds like a plan :good: when something happens to knox 0x1 device hard brick it to still have warranty.
