[Completed] Ok google settings not showing anymore - XDA Assist

When i go in google settings ->Search and Now ->Voice -> OK google detection , the only option available is from the google app, but the "retrain voice model" and "from any screen" option is not there(its not grayed out, its just not there), even though i had the option there before. [Completed] Asus Zenfone 5 - Unfortunately google play services has stopped!

Hi guys
I'm asking you for HELP because I lost hope how to fix my problem with my new Asus Zenfone 5 on my own. I bought phone from China - Spemall.com (good and safe website). Phone is brilliant and very well made all is perfect except one thing - it was no play store installed. All other phones and tablets from them had play store installed this is first time when I had device without it.
I have this phone for two days now I was trying almost everything (in my opinion everything) to install both first Google Play Services and after that Play Store.
I downloaded both latest versions apk and first installed services and after play store but when trying to tap in play store icon all what I getting is
---Unfortunately Google play services has stopped.
I was cleaning data, cache, reinstalling both apps and even I did few times factory reset but nothing. I was still getting famous massage --- Unfortunately Google play services has stopped. Whatever I press Google settings or play store it will always end up in this same way.
Phone is not rooted!!!
I was using guides from you tube because that was easy start and you must start somewhere and sometimes when problem is little you are able to fix it but this time is different and my knowledge and you tube is not enough that's why I asking you guys to help me in this difficult moment.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Best regards
Kabak
I can completely understand your frustration. Since we don't have a forum for your device, may I suggest posting your query in
Android Development and Hacking > Android General ? One of the Experts there will love to help you. Make sure to include your android version when you do so.
You can most certainly get Amazon Appstore installed on the tablet to get you going.
Thank you very much

[Completed] [Q] Force Google Now Location reporting in unsupported region

I tried to force enable Google Now with various methods found on this forum to no avail. After going through all the hoops I still find the frustrating message "Google Now requires location services which are not available" and "Location Reporting: Not available in Sudan".
Quoting from Google support:
"Location Reporting will only use cell ID or Wi-Fi location detection depending on your device."
Is there a way to spoof cell ID or Wi-Fi location?
Hi,
Need your device details to point you in the right direction.
But I'll tell you if Google says it doesn't work, it probably doesn't work. ?
My phone is a Nexus 5 running 4.4.4

[Completed] [Q] Is my phone hacked

I recently rooted my android phone. Today, i was using my phone and suddenly i see a notification in the status bar. It said, "Secret video recorder has been installed" - a notification seen when any app is installed from the play store. This sent a chill down my spine.
- is it possible that my phone has been hacked. And someone is controlling it
- Has my phone security been compromised
- I also though, may be my google account password has been leaked. And someone simple installed the app from the web play store using my account.
Can anyone please suggest, what exactly might have happened. I have uninstalled that app and also searched my app list for any potential malware. I also wanted to know about the security vulnerabilities which come with rooting a phone. I am very worried about my data.
Hi,
I'm sorry but I don't find anything about your problem, so you must start asking in one of this Q&A forum:

[Completed] [Q] Reinstalled Google Play, but can't access purchases?

I got sick of Google Play updating and pushing updates of Google Play Services (i'm limited on data) to my phone, so I read that uninstalling and reinstalling a modded version (yes i'm aware this modded store is used by many to pirate, but don't flag me for mentioning it. I just need to save data). Problem is, now none of my in-app purchases register with Google Play. :/ Is there a way to get these working again AND avoid my data getting sucked down by Play and Services updates? Using a Sony Xperia Z1S on 4.2, and a Huawei Ascend Mate 2 on 4.2 (both have the modded Play store and they share data via the wifi hotspot from my Huawei).
Hi there,
I'm sorry but we can help you with this problem if you Google Play isn't official. The only way to find a solution is to ask the developer of that modded market from where you are installed.
Or ask in the forum bellow :

[Completed] Need help enabling Google Now Cards

I bought a new phone a few days ago (Huawei Y6) and I can't seem to enable Google Now on it because my account is not "eligible". Which is not the case since I have a Lenovo (Android 5.0) tablet that showed me the same problem, but I was able to turn on Google Now with a few simple steps.
The normal procedure I use to enable it that I uninstall updates to google play services, disable the app, remove my google account, log back in and I'll get the offer to opt into google now.
But, on this phone (running Android 5.1.1) I can neither disable google play services after uninstalling its updates nor can I remove my current google account because it's not allowing me.
Can anyone help me out? I think by doing a factory reset I could do it by not logging in straight away during set-up but I'd like that to be a final option.
