This rom is based on the lastest motorola kitkat stock rom (retail-EU), with the kernel from @tal.aloni ,that fixed the screen flickering. The Rom is supposed to be stable and battery friendly. Once you try it is impossible not to fall in love with this Rom.
The perfect user of this rom is who want a simple O.S., as fast as just bought, with some Gapps included (Play store, play service, OpenGoogleSearch), and first of all with a decent battery of Screen On Time!

You can, but It is a waste! You can flash your stock rom for xt1033, try to compile your kernel, and after flash your firmware via fastboot.

You don't need to convert data partition! Inside the zip there is a script that do it!

i posted the mod here originally for people to test http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2562356

i have a great DLNA app from a huawei stock rom that i use with the play station 3 to stream movies and pics, can upload it if you want.

it depends what's in the apn_conf.xml, but if your having force closes when pressing the data button it must be that the GB retail rom is not compatible with dual sim devices.
I'm still unable to install APKs through file explorers.
Good effort though, kudos for putting it out there first.
Support thread for Cyanogenmod 11 for Moto G
Debug Thread
This thread is meant to be a Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting thread for all the lost souls that encountered trouble that is unrelated to the development of the rom.
Do you have trouble finding which variant is supported?
Are you afraid it will brick your phone?
Are you unsure about the procedure for flashing the rom?
This is the thread to ask your questions and I will try to answer a few of them already in the OP.
General questions on how to unlock the bootloader and flash a custom recovery can be found in @matmutant's thread. This thread is only for Cyanogenmod specific questions.
Q1: Which phone variant is officially supported?XT1031, XT1032, XT1033 and XT1034) and Google Play Edition (XT1032).
Q2: How do you flash the ROM if you come from stock/other custom rom?Follow the steps:
unlock the bootloader
flash custom recovery
wipe /cache
format /system
format /data
install latest zip
install Google Apps
Q3: What to do if I want to update CM?All you have to do is flash the official CM on your device. You will get notifications about updates on your phone or you check manually in Settings -> About Phone -> CyanogenMod Updates. The OTA update works completely automatic with a supported recovery and you do not need to do anything else (no /cache wiping, /system or /data formating, no Google Apps installation).
Q4: Where do I get the latest download? You can find the downloads on the cyanogenmod information page. However, there are 4 different types (Nightly, milestone, release candidate, stable). You can find a description of the types on that page as well. Currently there are only nightlies and milestone builds available.
Q5: Which version do I need to download?Download the version with the latest timestamp (e.g. cm-11-20140219-NIGHTLY-falcon.zip ). It is a unified build and works with all supported devices alike.
Q6: Where can I find a change log?
You can find a change log on cmxlog.com and in the cyanogen updater, just click on the version number of the OTA.
Q7: Which custom recovery should I use?Currently, there are 4 custom recoveries: CWM Advanced Edition, CWM, TWRP, CWMSwipe. You can get the letter three from the OP of the development thread or by using search.
Q8: I am getting an error when doing OTA Update on CWM Advanced Edition. The storage is set wrong in the recovery. Boot into recovery go to "Advanced" and click on "Storage set to /data/media/0". Reboot your phone and do the OTA Update.
Q9: What is not working?Always remember that this is still an early build. It is far from perfect, however, mostly useable. You can find a list of bugs in the Debug Thread.
Q10: How to report a bug?Make sure that the bug persists after a clean install and is not just the result of a dirty flash. Format /cache, /system & /data, reinstall the rom and check for the bug. If it still persists report it in the Debug Thread
Q11: What is the AnTuTu Score for this ROM?It is around 17,000.
Q12: How can i enable On/Off screen with Flip Shell on MotoG under CM11?
The Flip Shell should work out of the box since CM11-20140317-NIGHTLY.
Q13: How to enable Immersive mode ?
Got to settings > interface > Expanded Desktop style.
Choose between Disabled/Status bar visible/Status bar hidden.
Long press power button and choose 'Expanded Desktop'
If there is something important coming in the discussions below, I will try to add this to the OP.

Uhhmm i don't know the reasons why it should not work with cm 11, but if so it would really strange and the dev should know this.
It is a nice idea to build a CM11 specific FAQ, though, it is pointless to duplicate global Q&A already hangin' in the already existing FAQs and Guides.

I successfully instaled cm11 and its perfectly working. But I have a worry:
The CRT animation (from turn off screen) i'ts laggy. Its like at 2 fps or somethings, it isn't smooth at all. This lag is present also when I touch the multitask button, it takes like a second to show the apps. On some menus, the lag is present too.
The weirdest part is that a few hours ago, the lag dessappears, but now is back again.
Anyway with the same problem? or any solution? It will be appreciated

And regarding your question, as long as you use Dalvik and not ART, it should work just fine

Can confirm it's working, even 3d. Tested with Antutu and Epic Citadel on Exodus Rom. Everything went fine this time. Again you should rename zip to prevent confusions .

I wanna to pack as unified driver zip (for Falcon, Condor, Surnia, Otus, etc) after the tests. I've upload one file only (Internet is bad today). Well, v3 behavior is okay?

This rom was ported from Color OS UI FOR THL T6S! To Blu Energy X Plus by me.
Here is Link to original thread on Color OS UI FOR THL T6S! rom, This rom is the work of SRT Team
http://www.mtkhub.com/2015/11/mt6582-50-lollipop-color-os-ui-for-thl.html?m=1
The rom works well on Blu Energy X Plus, took sometime but I was able to get the sensors and gps working.
Everything appears to work just fine, I use straight talk for my service.
The rom is UI themed ROM comes with gapps, once you install this rom, a few apps need updating.
This rom uses stock kernel from V11 http://www.needrom.com/download/blu-energy-x-plus-e030u/
Xposed works on this rom, you need lollipop version.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
xposed-v78-sdk21-arm.zip
Here are a few picks
To install this rom you need to unlock your bootloader
First download this rom and twrp recovery
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347843233
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24341993505161923
place ColorOS_UI_ForBEXP.zip on your micro sdcard
For this method to work you need to have adb/fastboot setup and working, you will loose all data.
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot oem unlock
fastboot reboot
setup up phone again enable adb
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery E030U_TWRP_recovery.img
fastboot reboot
adb reboot recovery
factory reset
back then install rom
reboot system
first boot will take a long time.

Is the camera all 8mp? The Aurora rom only allows 5mp and the flashes don't work.

This is not my work bro I am just sharing the link.
Miui Version : 8.8.30 Based
Antatu Benchmark Score : 117462
Last Updated By Me : 07/09/2018 at 11 am
Pros: 1) Better battery backup
2) Apply third party themes
3) Pre enabled camera 2 api
4) AI Features on stock camera
5) No bloatware
6) Smooth UI
7) Play store pre installed no need to flash gapps
8) New boot animation
Change Log : added update miui option in setting, better benchmark score, fast face unlock
Cons : 1) Google Pay (Tez) not working
2) After flashing it little bit lags with apps home screen (don't worry just reboot your system and it will work fine)
3) Still No 4k recording in stock camera
You can tell me whatever issues you are facing.
Flashing Guide :
1) Download the zip file and put it into your internal storage.
2) Boot into your twrp or any other recovery you are using then wipe everything without internal storage.
3) Now install the zip,, it will install via aroma installer don't worry about that. (you will show some in another language just press the next option)
4) After flashing the zip it will come back to twrp from the aroma installer and then choose reboot and enjoy your rom
I am not responsible if you are bricked your device.

With this Rom I was not able to open apps like faster GPS or Adaway, and my location only worked with second flash.. I also had very poor signal quality, which may be caused by my old modem, but on aosp Roms I did not have any problems.
I used version 2.2, can anybody confirm that on 2.3?
I also had a problem with disabling permanent notifications, but battery life and smoothness seemed great
I have anti 4 8.8.9 rom if i install this rom i brick phone ?Masik is 8.8.3 idk what to do :/

Are you shure they're ROM related?

I didn't have that problem on other roms.. Splashscreen also persists from this Rom for the roms flashed after. As I said, I would like to have a confirmation if that is a problem on my end, then I will try to flash it again

Can I flash 2.3 with dirty flash when coming from 2.2?
Or do I need to clean flash? Anybody know?

Thanks but what about the push notification from Yi Home that i'm not receiving ?
I think it come from Mi Framework Services , because on AOSP Yi Home push notification is handled by the app itself but on xiaomi device it's handled by Mi Framework Service i don't know why, and it seems that it's working on Global Beta but not on Chinese based beta
Would anybody kindly let me know if this ROM force-encrypts?

Masik rom doesn't affect bootloader at all as firmware files, thus bootloader related files, are removed from the zip. So I believe you will be ok.
