So as we know, the miui8 patchrom was stopped update more than half a year, and Wonitor has sold his note4 a few months ago.

a susually you have to configure the phone at the beginning - one of the steps is xiaomi cloud: you can not skip this step or use cloud becouse it fc - I.m on 910C, rom 6.0, full wipe, TWRP 3.0.2

you can use other camera app. there are some bugs cant be fix until xiaomi update the patchrom

drawing over another apps
I have a little problem that would like to fix as soon as all of you can possibly can help, some how some apps like google app and snap camera needs permit but drawing over other apps it's grayed out and without enabling it they don't work. so any information on how to fix will be greatly appreciate it. thank you

Try reflashing the ROM. I had a GPS error and Play Services error when I flashed mine.

I tried installing xposed on this, and while the phone was turning on the screen went white and froze.

After unlock bootloader, i use rom xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix_6.12.8_v8-6.0.zip and camera (back + front) is very good.
But i update to xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix_6.12.22_v8-6.0.zip and have problem with front camera.
Now, i download MiFlash and flash Mi mix to Stable Rom but still front camera not work.

it boots up fine and perfectly however, i lost the touch on TWRP. I tried installing all version of TWRP non of them worked.

Have a look to TWRP thread! You need another TWRP if you want to use this ROM.
Try to start from scratch again. Reflash stock CN using MiFlash, boot, reboot to fastboot, flash TWRP for CN, flash ROM with TWRP, boot, reboot to fastboot, flash TWRP for EU, done

Are you flashing with deleting data, or dirty? I would recommend a clean flash. By the way, no camera problems here with .22

You've used special miui version of xposed? I could recommend to use systemless magisk variant of the miui specific xposed.

I have spent a few days putting together a Custom ROM for my LeEco Le 2 Pro X620, with the idea to provide a more Stock Android experience.
Features:
- Updated the integrated Google Services
- Replaced the EUI Launcher with the Google Now launcher
- Added in a set of base Google Applications (Gmail, Maps, YouTube, Photos, Music, Calendar etc)
- Added Multi-language support
- Removed unwanted Chinese apps
NOTE: Both the initial flash and first boot can take a long time - please be patient!
The ROM is not rooted - if you wish to root the ROM, download and flash SuperSU from Chainfire. Open the SuperSU app before initialising any application that requires root access granted.

I have never used VoLTE so I'm not sure if it works, but it looks like it's enabled by default in Settings / Dual SIM & mobile networks / VoLTE HD call.

Is there a "defaults" setting under apps settings? If so, you have to choose a default phone app.

I did know that, am not noob in this.
However this rom caused my phone to go sloooow which I didn't recover even after wiping and formatting EVERYTHING and going back to stock. It is now unresponsive, laggish and can't even open most apps, wherever rom I go. Yes, after wiping everything and restoring stock, flashing other recoveries, and going full-pro with fastboot and adb commands
I do not know what this Flyme did, maybe it was just bad luck or coincidence for me, but my phone is dead and irrecoverable now. And I read in 4pda some Russian guy saying something similar about not being able to boot recovery after newest build, so it may be rom-related as it seems, be extremely cautious with it people

Refllash with miFlash using edl mode. Should work.

- double tap to wake not working
- gallery not working when opening picture from camera
- gmail often crash
- Wifi not detected in some apps, should choose data & wifi on then the apps working (Google Photo, Facebook auto play video).

This is little detail guide to install Mi A2 Camera on Mi A1, I already upload a video on my YouTube channel for this guide. Here you will get a complete guide to install Mi A2 camera on Mi A1 for Rooted and Non-Rooted users.

Required Files-
(File is same for Magisk and TWRP)
1. MiA2 Camera: Download
2. MiA2 Ported Camera for Mi A1: Download
Read Carefully then start follow Method 1 or Method 2-
Make sure that you are not having Mi A1 Stock Camera installed on your mobile (Recommended Method: Install any custom ROM which is not having Mi A1 Stock Camera), if you have a stock camera installed then uninstall it (I tried to uninstall it with many methods but I failed to uninstall it completely), if you can uninstall it perfectly then let me know, then follow this instruction. This may not work on Mi A1 Stock ROM because Mi A1 Stock ROM has Stock Camera installed. I hope someone will port this application in a different way so we can use both (Stock camera and MiA2 camera) and also fix front portrait mode.
Steps to install MiA2 Camera-
Method 1: (Recommended Method)
[Install fresh ROM(which is not having a stock camera) before proceed]
1. Install Magisk Manager on MiA1 : Click here for magisk installation guide
2. Flash MiA2 Camera (Magisk Module) from Magisk Manager (Do not install "MiA2 Ported Camera for Mi A1" at this step)
3. Reboot mobile
4. Flash "MiA2 Ported Camera for Mi A1" (Magisk Module) from Magisk Manager
5. Reboot mobile
6. Go to camera permission and Enable all permission manually
7. That's it, if still not works then also flash camera2Api from magisk manager (File is available on Magisk Download Section)
Method 2:
1. Magisk and TWRP need to pre-installed
2. Download both the modules
3. Boot into TWRP recovery
4. Flash 'MiA2 Camera" then reboot
5. Boot again in TWRP recovery
6. Flash "MiA2 Ported Camera for Mi A1"
7. That's it reboot your mobile and enjoy. If still not works then also flash camera2Api from magisk manager (File is available on Magisk Download Section)
If your camera name is "60" : Screenshot attached
It is because you may have Mi A1 stock camera on your mobile before following this guide so If you can then uninstall your Stock Mi A1 camera then follow the same guide error should be gone. If still, its name is "60" then install fresh ROM (which is not having Mi A1 Dual Camera on it) and try again it will work (100% Guarantee:laugh.

I'm on Android P GSI DP5 I flashed Both Module Then Restart But Going In Bootloop And I Restarted Again But There Is No A2 Cam Shows This Error Msg When Open Gcam.

Exactly same for me, before start guide i delete stock cam with titanium backup but error continue.

maybe not support android p and on the treble pixel experience ROM how many features do not work like hdr mode, panorama mode, portrait mode on the front camera, but all those features work when not using a treble rom except burst mode does not work

The first module is the same as your thread and the second module is ported module which makes it work on MiA1. And I if know how to create magisk modules then I would like to fix all errors or problem. But I don't know how to do this. If someone knows then please help.
