I have rom update for my acer p300 (i have the phone for 4 day), update is: 2.002.03.FR.
The rom of my phone is: 1.004c.fr.
Launch the update for windows (i have tested in windows 7, xp and vista), the phone is connected, but i have this error" the software image file does not matched with your phone sofware".
I have tested phone power + camera button to launch update, but this error...
I have the file rom *.NB0, it's possible to flash from sd card?
I have cleaned the phone (power+ start), but the update not work.
if clean and press camera button for flash to sd, not work...
I have called Acer to help me, but, any idea for acer....
It's possible to help me?

5.Install the driver manually from the Rover

i have solved my problem...
I have installed holder version of update rom.
During install (program/Acer update tooo/), i have deleted the holder rom and i have putted my update rom in the folder and named it of the name of the holder....
Installation software update work, and the update it's ok, work perfectly.
Finaly is the problem is the new update program, nos my phone, and no the update rom.

on acer belgium i downloaded OS_Acer_3.002.50.EMEA.CUS2_A21E_E130 and installed on the phone of my daughter, and it works perfect, long boot but once up and running it runs fast.

You need to extract .nb0 file from update and use RUT from A688 Tools ( just search in google or MU : megaupload.com/?d=IFO209MS )

I have a branded phone MOBISTAR too and so i try your way and it doesn't work for me...
I launch RUT and i'm going to "step 1" and when i want to choose the "firmware" my computer lag and say "tentative de lecture ou d'écriture de mémoir protégée. Cela indique souvent qu'une autre mémoire est endommagée." and it's not just that windows close automatically de window...
i'm gonna try again and again...

i think you need to use a Computer with XP for RUT, with my Seven, its same problem.

En francais, si vous avez des gsm mobistar cela devrait aller.
Tu lances l'installation du programme d'update de acer.
Quand c'est fini, tu ne flash pas le gsm, mais tu vas dans c:/programme file/acerE130 Tool setup et la tu trouveras la rom d'origine que tu copies ailleurs.
Ensuite tu lances le programme RUT, tu pointes la rom copiée précedement, et tu suis les instructions.

Indeed i had the same problem ,i tryed it with vista, no go! on xp no problemo (you need to run rut and the update program from acer at the same time) that did it for me
maybe it works also for you?

Flash the ROM thought CWM recovery 6 OR it will NOT install (ansfer's cwm is the best recovery cwm touch for huawei honor)

I bricked my 6039y when I tried to uninstall xposed framework. When I taped on "wipe cache/dalvik cache", wipe cache crashed and now I've got bootloop on "Alcatel One touch" and "Smart Move" :crying:
I had restored fastboot command (lost with last update), repartitioned internal memory... and I bricked it with a simple wipe...
I made a backup via TWRP but I haven't flash TWRP in phone... I'm just able to access stock recovery...
How I can restore my phone ? Only one chance with Mobile upgrade Q ?

Check with @petrov.0 He has a process he's been trying out with 6045 users to install TWRP similar to how he re-added fastboot. It's currently having some issues but perhaps having a 6039 user to test would help to resolve that. There is another "I bricked my idol" thread where he's been discussing the issues. Since he had it working for fastboot it may already work fine for you to reinstall twrp.

You need system image + boot....I didn't look to see if boot was in there.
Apparently if you tell the alcatel site you have a "pixi" you get a newer version of the Mobile Q software which works well with both the 6039 and 6045...details here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63134915&postcount=15

While reading on the forums, it is indicated that one can use the MTCE_HA (HotAudio), but after downloading the MTCE_HA_V2.99, it does not work.

Le distrbuteur est Seicane.
Le sigle du fabricant est HF (MTCE_HF).
Le MCU actuelle est MTCE_HF_V2.86_1
En lisant sur les forum, il est indiqué qu'on peut utiliser le MTCE_HA (HotAudio), mais apès téléchargement du MTCE_HA_V2.99, ça ne fonctionne pas.
Auriez vous le MCU de HF, ou alors des piste pour m'aider ?

I have contacted Seicane (head unit manufacturer) and their only answer is that it it not recommended to upgrade the firmware. Actually, my head unit is unusable because climate control is broken on this firmware.

Use second file for mcu update ( MTCE_HF_V3.30.rar ). Unrar it, copy img file to root of usb stick, insert it in usb port, and start mcu update
