Doesn't support n7 port rom now.
Sorry for my poor English.
This module supports Samsung S7E, it can customize AOD and has some other features.

Description:
If you want to customize AOD,you must pay attention to the following points
AOD version should be 1.3.07 or higher (the latest is 1.3.14),doesn't support n7 AOD version
AOD content should be 'Clock', doesn't support 'Calendar' or 'Image' type now.
If you want use your own image to replace the default AOD backgroud image, you should:
give AODService storage permission.
select a background image in the aod settings, default is none so image won't show.
put you own image at /mnt/sdcard/ and it's name must be 'aod_wallpaper.png'
see changelog, from version 1.0.6 you can put pictures under /mnt/sdcard/aod_wallpapers/ and no matter what their names are.
the image size better to be 1600×2440,same as the default.I upload my own and the default image file, you can try it.
Thanks to carvajaljn and his awesome images :https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0Bwl_yG9ztPSJZFlYWndTQ1FCOG8&usp=sharing
About replace the missed message app:
You'd better use default TouchWiz launcher, 3rd launcher like Nova can't use this feature now.
Only those app which can show badge count that can be choose from the candidate list, beacuse AOD read and show app's badge count, not the Notification count.
I'm still working on find a better way to solve the above two problems. Now if you can't use this feature normally, this mode also has a tasker plugin and you can use tasker to control the badge count. Not a good solution but can work.
Changelog:
Version 1.0.8.1 (Experimental):
require new permisssion "android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" for folder chooser
For aod 1.4 user
Each app only show one icon in notification panel
And a blacklist for notification panel
Random custom image(for the last aod layout)
Version 1.0.8.0 (Experimental):
For aod 1.3 user:
My suggestion is don't update,just use 1.0.7.1
For aod 1.4 user:
aod_wallpaper size changed to 1600x1600,other size image will be scale.
Switch on the display music option, otherwise you won't see the native music info panel.
Old style missed event(icon with unread num) is no longer supported, you can choose to show n7 style notification panel with 3rd party supported.
Must give AodService notification access from: Settings - Lock Screen & Security - Other Security Settings - Notification Access
Some features may invalid in ultra power saving mode.
Why we can't use Note7 aod(version 1.7) in stock s7 rom and why aod1.4 doesn't support 3rd party notification now? Because aod1.7 need a new module "AodManager" which I think in framework, some features must use code from it,but s7 doesn't have this module.
In aod1.4, 90% of the code for 3rd party notification has been prepared by samsung, the rest should be in AodManager.I don't konw that part of the code,I just use some trick to complete the process,so it may not 100% same as Note7.
Version 1.0.7.1 (Experimental):
Fixes some bugs.
Display current playing music info.(Experimental)
Version 1.0.7.0 (Experimental):
You can control the display of each part of the AOD.
You can choose up to 4 apps to show their latest notification content in AOD.(Experimental, need Breifing feed)
You can show AOD in landscape mode. When in landscaper mode, put your own AOD wallpapers in '/mnt/sdcard/aod_wallpapers_landscape/'.(Experimental,has conflict with night clock mode)
Version 1.0.6.2:
fix a bug that database file doesn't be closed.
try to fix an oom error.
Version 1.0.6.1:
Remove useless log.
Try to fix a bug that sometimes missed message count doesn't show.
Version 1.0.6:
Support random AOD wallpaper.Create a folder names 'aod_wallpapers' under /mnt/sdcard/,put any images you like in it,no matter what the names ther are, then done.
Something you should know:
If the file '/mnt/sdcard/aod_wallpapers/aod_wallpaper.png' exists, then it will be shown all the time.It has the highest priority.
If the file mentioned before doesn't exist, other files in '/mnt/sdcard/aod_wallpapers/' will be random shown.
If the folder 'aod_wallpapers' doesn't exist, and '/mnt/sdcard/aod_wallpaper.png' exists, this image will be shown like in 1.0.4 version,it has the lowest priority. So if you don't need this new feature, you don't need to make any changes.
Missed message support Gmail.
How to do:
First, click 'Select Gmail account'
Second, select a label of this account,Aod will show the unread mail in the label.(If this option is diabled and you can't select, open Gmail app, wait some seconds then go back,it will be OK)
Last, choose Gmail from the missed message list.
A new Tasker plugin about EdgeLighting.
You can use this plugin to show EdgeLighting with any color. You must has PeopleStripe.Apk isntalled to use EdgeLighting.
Please download from Xposed repo
Download
Thanks for all your support.
- how do I update AOD ? do you mean the stock one installed by samsung or other 3rd party app ?
- if it is the stock one, how to I allow permission for it ?
I could not do it
Managed to fix it.
What you need to do,
1- download samsung store app if you don't have to update the AOD to the latest version
2- allow permission from setting
3- select clock in AOD and then select the first background by samsung (don't worry it shows their own background on the selection window but once you apply it it should show your own photo)
Thank you for the good work :good:
Could you add a function for forcing AOD on Samsung S-View cover? (As it is now AOD is disabled when used with the cover.)
That would be really awesome!
Hi mate! I installed your module, all working except custom wallpaper... I give permission to aodservice, putted the wallpaper in /mnt/sdcard, selected first background from settings but still nothing... What I'm doing wrong?

found a workaround for this, using multipicture live wallpaper from the playstore you can setup multiple images to the be shown on the lock screen however it wont change everytime you start the screen it will change as per time set. Still better than nothing.
For multi wallpaper pls check my thread>https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/themes/root-multiwallpaper-lockscreen-t3638406
We Can find multiple wallpaper in the Samsung theme store. So it's possible !
Maybe only with the theme developper kit...
Any idea ?
If you use Nova Launcher, or anything that can create activities, then you can still use the native Samsung multiple lock screen wallpaper selector app. Find the 'My Interests' app in whatever app you use to see activities, and it has the 'Multiple images' activity for '.ui.KeyguardPhotoSlideMainActivity'. ?
This should work too: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...pchanger&hl=en&rdid=com.shirobakama.wpchanger

I was unable to find "My Interests" but here is how I managed it.
With Nova installed press and hold on a blank icon space to add a widget as normal. Choose Activities from the Nova section.
Find Keyguard Wallpaper Updator and twirl it down and select Multiple Images. This will add an icon to your home screen that will open the hidden multiple wallpaper chooser.

Samsung's Clock and Calendar apps both have animated icons that show the current time and date, respectively, so I expect there's an incompatibility somewhere.
Samsung's stock theme also has the option to convert any non-Samsung-shaped icons (Samsung's are the "squircle"-shaped ones) into ones that conform to Samsung's native icon shapes by reducing their size and rendering them in a white "squircle"-shaped box.
That option is the default, and I can tell from your screenshots that it is enabled on your phone, since the non-Samsung apps all have had their icons "samsungized".
I don't know if this will work, but you might try disabling the automatic icon conversion option, to see if somehow the combination of that option and the Clock/Calendar animations are broken by your modifications to your phone.
To turn off icon conversion, search for "Icon Frames" in settings (it's under the Display grouping on my phone).
Good luck!

If nothing else works, just switch to a theme that uses non-animated icons for the Clock (and likely the Calendar, too) app(s).

Can anybody point to the underlying cause for this anomalous behaviour of clock icon, what could have triggered this?
As suggested by @TJCacher after turning off the "icon-conversion" the clock icon is behaving normally. But I loved the look of "samsungized" icons. I would love to have them back after understanding the underlying cause for the anomalous behaviour of the clock icon and getting it fixed!
Thanks a lot to @TJCacher for his reply!

How do I actually enable this as my lockscreen?
Sent from my Google Pixel XL using XDA Labs
Good lockscreen!
:good:
i can´t enabled it on a Huawei P20 :s
So far it's been perfect, the only issue is that face unlock can't be used in conjunction with it. Is there any possibility of adding it?
Samsung Galaxy S8 on latest firmware with July security patch, if that makes any difference.

That is if their device is compatible, unlike mine.

I understand that, but on the stock lockscreen I can use it just by waking up the device. It would be nice if it could be implemented to work the same with this lockscreen. Still using it as it is though
I have an original Pixel XL and and bought the Pro version but requested a refund shortly afterward. The Google Play Music widget does not show up when playing music, quick reply doesn't work, widgets don't show up when added....etc.
Oneplus 5t:
Sometimes the new Lockscreen appears, sometimes its the default OOS one.
Am I doing something wrong? I loved lockscreen widgets!

Not all music apps are supportes yet, but will.
Quick reply works peefectly here with whatsapp e.g.
For widgets you have to swipe right on lockscreen.
Hope it helps.

This is controlled by the system. On my OP 3T its working fine. Cant do much about that unfortunately.
Double post
Thanks for this, it's great. It works almost flawlessly, sometimes the default lockscreen will appear for split second, but it's not an issue. A couple of things I noticed, sometimes I see the notification that I have chatheads on from Facebook Messenger, not sure which one to turn off so that doesn't appear at all, I'll screenshot it next time I see it, if it reappears. Also on Facebook Messenger the actual notification has Like, Mute and Reply options while the notification on Ava only shows Like.
Is there a chance that we can choose to have the widgets on the main page, along with the notifications. on tall phones like the S9+, I believe they can fit decently.
EDIT: Here's a screenshot of the forementioned Messenger notification https://i.imgur.com/QB6FIg2.jpg
I am contemplating upgrading to Oreo but not being able to put widgets on the lockscreen is one of the things that's holding me back. I currently use an Xposed module that does accomplish this on Nougat. However, The dev of the module is likely not upgrading the app to support Oreo. I was really glad to see this. So here's my question, Can I disable all the other settings and basically just have a widget on my lockscreen? I don't want a second window on my lockscreen swipe over to, All I want is to have a widget on my primary lockscreen window. I am still on Nougat and your app seems to target Oreo so I can't test this out myself yet. Also I am using Zooper to make my custom widgets. Will those work? Cheers and thank you.
Absolutely love the potential of the app.
Unfortunately I am not able to activate the lockscreen despite giving it any and all permissions. I've given the initial permission at the start of the app, set up a few other settings, but when I go to toggle the switch at the top right corner to enable it the app either crashes or switches to the lockscreen settngs. If im able to activate it and lock my phone nothing shows up and it's my regular lockscreen. I only use the fingerprint/PIN security as well.
My device is Huawei Mate 10 Pro (us warrenty version)
This is a great app and I also have the same issues reported by others:
1. The original lock screen shows up for split second before Ava comes up
2. It requires 2 steps to login to the device. Usually pressing my finger on the lock screen would unlock it, but with Ava you have to scroll up. Luckily this can be circumvented by not opening the lock screen at all (press finger while screen is dark)
3. This one is the real deal-breaker for me. The notification access doesn't honor the "sensitive content" setting or lacking one. I'd say the best flow for notification access should be the following:
* If phone is locked, check the "sensitive content" setting
* If user is trying to access sensitive content, request authentication
* Non sensitive content can be accessed immediately (i.e. music player, weather, etc)
(EDIT)
4. This is less important issue, but choosing wallpaper should also invoke cropping or selecting which portion of the wallpaper to be used regardless of apps used
5. This is just a suggestion and not important at all:
* Add drag upwards as one of the "Launch By" for shortcuts
* Add date format to the Clock so we can have something like "Thu, Aug 2" or preferably write our own format
* Allow multiple widgets of the same kind. For example, I'd like to have a few tasker widget performing different tasks.
OTHER: I seem to be unable to tap on widget. I think I saw a message about it but can't remember what I need to do to allow it. Maybe add this to Help section?

NICELOCK
Good Lock 2019 Launcher
What is NiceLock?
This app is only an alternative to main Good Lock app for the regions that it is officially unavailable.
This app only acts as a launcher for modules. Goodlock modules has to be installed separately. You can check apkmirror, sammobile etc or use this mega folder: https://mega.nz/#F!7sslhAYD!4lLr__aLuJEk3_A1t8ggdw.
As badlock app missing some modules, I decided to create this project as a quick alternative.
This app will be updated as Samsung adds new modules.

I have installed on my Note 9 with android 9
When i use LockStar, after applied the theme for Lockscreen, i don't see the clock on my lockscreen.
When I uninstalled all the modules after this problem, I still did not have a clock on my Lockscreen
Works on Oreo?

i think it save the preset to system (samsung-experience)
try reinstall lockstar -> disable then uninstall ... see if it revert lockscreen back
when i launch lockstar (with nova-launcher shortcut widget) for first time, it ask permission for storage
so try give storage permission to lockstar and see if it fix ur issue
although i dont think nicelock problem with lockstar
but u can try "nova-launcher widget-shortcut" method and see if u still experiencing same issue lockstar
if u getting same issue then, its lockstar problem, rather than launcher (nicelock) bug
QuickStar ..... Bug?
I think this normal .... am i right?
@xantrk ,
works great! Thank you!
I'm using the whole thing for the first time, so one question: how about the audio modul? It's not in the mega folder. So it's not available (yet)?

Great! Thanks!

Thank you for the app.
Small suggestions:
1. Can you add a text to indicate if the app is installed or not at the far right of each app in the list. For example, if Navstar is installed "Installed" text at the far right of the icon will show and if no "Not install" text will show.
2. Not installed apps, click on them will open galaxy store to their page for users who can install them to install.
Thanks again.
It force closes on my S7 under stock oreo

Implemented number 2. If the app is not available, IT goes to galaxy store. But 1 is a bit difficult for me. Make sure to check out new version through playstore.
