How do I actually enable this as my lockscreen?

Good lockscreen!
:good:
i can´t enabled it on a Huawei P20 :s
So far it's been perfect, the only issue is that face unlock can't be used in conjunction with it. Is there any possibility of adding it?
Samsung Galaxy S8 on latest firmware with July security patch, if that makes any difference.

I understand that, but on the stock lockscreen I can use it just by waking up the device. It would be nice if it could be implemented to work the same with this lockscreen. Still using it as it is though
I have an original Pixel XL and and bought the Pro version but requested a refund shortly afterward. The Google Play Music widget does not show up when playing music, quick reply doesn't work, widgets don't show up when added....etc.

Am I doing something wrong? I loved lockscreen widgets!

Not all music apps are supportes yet, but will.
Quick reply works peefectly here with whatsapp e.g.
For widgets you have to swipe right on lockscreen.
Hope it helps.

This is controlled by the system. On my OP 3T its working fine. Cant do much about that unfortunately.
Double post
Thanks for this, it's great. It works almost flawlessly, sometimes the default lockscreen will appear for split second, but it's not an issue. A couple of things I noticed, sometimes I see the notification that I have chatheads on from Facebook Messenger, not sure which one to turn off so that doesn't appear at all, I'll screenshot it next time I see it, if it reappears. Also on Facebook Messenger the actual notification has Like, Mute and Reply options while the notification on Ava only shows Like.
Is there a chance that we can choose to have the widgets on the main page, along with the notifications. on tall phones like the S9+, I believe they can fit decently.
EDIT: Here's a screenshot of the forementioned Messenger notification https://i.imgur.com/QB6FIg2.jpg
I am contemplating upgrading to Oreo but not being able to put widgets on the lockscreen is one of the things that's holding me back. I currently use an Xposed module that does accomplish this on Nougat. However, The dev of the module is likely not upgrading the app to support Oreo. I was really glad to see this. So here's my question, Can I disable all the other settings and basically just have a widget on my lockscreen? I don't want a second window on my lockscreen swipe over to, All I want is to have a widget on my primary lockscreen window. I am still on Nougat and your app seems to target Oreo so I can't test this out myself yet. Also I am using Zooper to make my custom widgets. Will those work? Cheers and thank you.
Absolutely love the potential of the app.
Unfortunately I am not able to activate the lockscreen despite giving it any and all permissions. I've given the initial permission at the start of the app, set up a few other settings, but when I go to toggle the switch at the top right corner to enable it the app either crashes or switches to the lockscreen settngs. If im able to activate it and lock my phone nothing shows up and it's my regular lockscreen. I only use the fingerprint/PIN security as well.
My device is Huawei Mate 10 Pro (us warrenty version)
This is a great app and I also have the same issues reported by others:
1. The original lock screen shows up for split second before Ava comes up
2. It requires 2 steps to login to the device. Usually pressing my finger on the lock screen would unlock it, but with Ava you have to scroll up. Luckily this can be circumvented by not opening the lock screen at all (press finger while screen is dark)
3. This one is the real deal-breaker for me. The notification access doesn't honor the "sensitive content" setting or lacking one. I'd say the best flow for notification access should be the following:
* If phone is locked, check the "sensitive content" setting
* If user is trying to access sensitive content, request authentication
* Non sensitive content can be accessed immediately (i.e. music player, weather, etc)
(EDIT)
4. This is less important issue, but choosing wallpaper should also invoke cropping or selecting which portion of the wallpaper to be used regardless of apps used
5. This is just a suggestion and not important at all:
* Add drag upwards as one of the "Launch By" for shortcuts
* Add date format to the Clock so we can have something like "Thu, Aug 2" or preferably write our own format
* Allow multiple widgets of the same kind. For example, I'd like to have a few tasker widget performing different tasks.
OTHER: I seem to be unable to tap on widget. I think I saw a message about it but can't remember what I need to do to allow it. Maybe add this to Help section?

very nice lockscreen...i've researched a bit and would really like to learn how to make a lockscreen also
Its cool, but it shows "null none" under the time. Also the home button unlocks the phone.
Incredible with froyo.

also getting null none under the clock

By the way I can bypass the lockscreen by pushing the home button. Also the stock lock screen want to creep up and take over.

Your video looks like it was recording a mirror version. Needs to be flipped 180 degrees about vertical axis
Also, a closer view so we could read what the screen says would be more helpful
It doesn't work perfectly, like many of the market comments. Pressing Home bypasses lock, I get null none under time.
I would like to see an option to not show weather (don't want additional GPS/battery usage), and the option to not hide the notification bar
Seems like a nice alternative. I would like to see an option to enter your zip code or city for weather, as opposed to using location only, since my GPS is on about 0.01% of the time.
Also would love other fonts for the time, and not sure if it shows unread sms, email, gmail, missed call or not, but if it doesn't, would love to see it implemented.
I have tried it out and i liked it much but can you add a 24/7 clock?
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Updated to 1.3 versión, added support for 1.6 Donut! and Dream/Magic/MyTouch3G screen sizes
Thanks for the suggestions, I am working on

This is a really nice lock screen. Simple and clean. I've just got 2 suggestions:
1. Can there be a way to disable vibration?
2. Like c00ller, can there be a way to use the standard notification bar?
Also, I'm not sure if it can be fixed (since I've seen it on other lock screens), but when leaving the lock screen and going to the lock pattern, the home screen quickly flashes behind the pattern screen.

Tips:
To lock the Home button on the screen lock "Simply Lockscreen":
-In the SL settings: choose a launcher for launch by default.
-Press Home and select the default option with "Simply Lockscreen" icon.
In the event that shows the original block before Simply Lockscreen:
-Go to Android settings, go to security and disable the screen original.
V.1.3.2: New version (21/08/2010)
-Bug fixes for the new FC's.
-Added support for the original bar.
-Ability to show the percentage of the battery.
-Auto hidden-weather performance if they are not available (null / none)
Can't find it on the market. Any chance that you can provide me with the apk?
Update!
V.1.4:
-Button to disable the original lock screen (2.X only)
-Added support for alarm.
-Added date display.
-Slide to unlock at 90% of the bar.
Very nice lockscreen.
However, it would be nice toadd options to:
-have the battery percentage without the location (mine is too long and overlaps the percentage)
-have the clock without the temp/weather
PS: on htc legend (official 2.05 unrooted) the "Button to disable the original lock screen (2.X only)" always gives me a FC

In addition, following this philosophy incorporates a unique unlock, any knowledgeable person can develop their own widget that will help unlock the screen and to prove "GWL unlock button" is incorporated into the app.
Also I liberate a miniSDK for users with more limited knowledge you can design your own release buttons/widgets.

If not using a menu from the list of widgets, you should appear seamless.
Anyway I mean all those in the market.
It is possible that some extreme launcher modifications as MIUI got some problems, so there is this phase of beta testing, to identify best and fix them.
Ill help. how do i get the app?
Love this app

Thanks!
I'd love to be a beta tester as well, I could even test your mini SDK if you like me too.

Tiwiz
nice one, will give it a shot.
does it support a "passive" mode (that is, non-interactive) for the widgets? that would be very neat for most widgets I can think of putting on my homescreen. I basically need status information like weather, unread messages, todos/agenda, and stuff like that. being able to make those widgets passive would allow me to get information from them without compromising the lockscreen's actual purpose which is preventing the phone from unwanted input.
Force close on start up, on Desire HD running MIUI 1.8.5

My feedback
Hi,
i gave it a try and here is my feedback:
when adding a widget, the title is still in another language
The widgets can't be moved
after unlocking, it goes into 'car mode', please change
The setting "use secret code" doesn't stay highlighted even though it is an active option
Also for the custom wallpaper, so i think i can say that active options doesn't stay highlighted
The security code can't be swype (with swype beta), if this is not an option it should be mentioned
It isn't clear or explained what "use the force" does...
When i press the "home" button, it locks in stead of going back to the home screen
Disabling functions isn't really possible because nothing stays highlighted
When disabling your app it goes back to the default lock screen (glass) and not back to the previous one, in my case the security lock with swype.
I have a SGS2 phone with the cognition ROM v1.31
I hope this helps you further programming. I have to say i like the idea very much. Maybe in the future you can have certain apps as well, like phone, whatsapp, messaging. So that when you unlock you can go to these apps.
Keep up the good work. good luck.
ok im going to give it a go i will report back any issues i have
hi,i have tried it on on my rom but it gives me fc!!
Hi mate, nice app.
I tried it and I have som suggestions.
The default "unlock" system is too easy, I think u should provide at least one scrollable unlock button as default to avoid accindentally unlocks.
Another suggestion, I found it hard to place widget in some positions of the screen, maybe u should implement something to move widget when they are placed. Something like a menu entry "Move Widgets" should be good.
Sorry for my bad English
CYA
i'll definitely try this out
Very good, here are some suggestions
Fix the wallpaper to fit the screen.
But more importantly, add a mode in the app itself to trigger an editing mode which will allow you to move widgets around in the lockscreen. It would also be awesome if you were able to add different unlock modes, like vanilla unlock, drag a bar down, touchwiz unlock, sense 3.0 unlock. These are just ideas, but so far no problems. Good job.
Also please add descriptions to the settings, I didn't understand a couple like jedi mode.
seems good so far. any plans for offering an API for 3rd party developers to let them lock/unlock the lockscreen?
I love you guys!
Thank you for this amazing collaboration I have in mind all your suggestions.
-I liked the "passive mode", it was something I wanted to add.
-As you move from place widgets is more complicated, but of course I will try to implement it.

Yes, I plan to publish a small sample code with the unlock button on googlecode on a few days.
But if you desire to keep trying is as simple as that when it's time to send the signal to unlock use this public broadcast:
Code:
Intent i = new Intent("com.firezenk.gwlads.kill");
context.sendBroadcast(i);
----
It seems that the program is not currently compatible with MIUI if anyone could send the LogCat from time to give FC would appreciate it very much.
These are the issues I had so far:
-Soon after I added a widget it crashed without any warning messages.
-Could not remove the widgets in the usual method, had to use the Menu>Remove all widgets option
-Sometimes Launching the locker does the same thing as pressing the home button.
-Car Mode got enabled
-When adding a widget the title is still in Spanish(?)
-Could not find a way to launch the application settings.
Using: HTC Desire with CM7.1 RC1
SOLVED -Disabling functions isn't really possible because nothing stays highlighted
SOLVED -When disabling your app it goes back to the default lock screen (glass) and not back to the previous one.

Uhh... no :3 its only for MiUI =)
Only works with MIUI ?
nice
thanks
looks amazing!!!!
looks good
thanks for this. looks nice.
best lock screen ive seen so far imho. =]
really like it alot..
only input is i don't use all the other apps you have options for.. like 360 camera and yada yada.. looks good thou, im excited to see where ya go with this..
Why, why, why are you hiding this in the X10 Themes forum? Get it moved to the main Android Themes forum AT ONCE This is beautiful work and should be getting far more attention...
... so I've just posted your OP image and download links in the main MIUI Lockscreen thread HERE - hope you don't mind
I'd love to see Quickpic added in the Photos tab and Camcorder as an option in the Photo tab. Also it would be really nice if you could add the fade to homescreen/last screen feature when dragging up the unlock slider, and maybe move the unlocker start position and arrow up slightly from the bottom of the screen for those with cases which make access to the very edges of the screen a bit awkward.
Otherwise this is by far the most functionally complete lockscreen yet and beautifully designed
amazingThanks for Sharing
Hi ma,
just to tell you that I can't get your download working from my Nexus S with miui.
I manage to download it but the file only makes 12.5kB.
Thanks a lot
beautiful lockscreen,
would it please be possible to add music controls?
no problems if you can't
thanks, great work
love this lockscreen. thanks so much!
I know you're talking about adding more "apps" in the list for each category, but I'd actually prefer a simpler version. Just the MIUI Camera as the camera choice, and the music player should be whatever is default.
I think the standard MIUI lockscreen lets you define which music player you want for lockscreen controls. I'd hate to see a long list of music app choices when I click the music tile. Is there a way you could just use the music player that we choose as default?
Other than that, everything is fantastic. To keep it simple, instead of "app" choices when you click a tile that you slide towards, can you just make a sliding animation for the tile as we slide it to the left or right to unlock? Maybe a Missed Call and SMS Message preview when you click the tile?

I agree... with the whole sliding tile thing..
I think it'd be pretty sweet considering I would like just the default apps. After all, it is a lock screen. I don't need to be able to access 12 apps from it. just a few basic quick ones that you have listed... also my vote is to have "photo" replaced with a browser icons..

exceptionally nice and unique lockscreen!
there is only one minor flaw, these types of lockscreens (swipe upwards) have a bad habit of not unlocking easily. More often than not takes around 4-5 tries before being able to unlock the phone, no matter how slow or fast I try. It's like its based on luck not accuracy. So my question is: is it possible that you port this awesome lockscreen to a different type? like slider at the bottom (left-right) or a standard miui-like downward swipe?
This is definitely the most feature-filled MIUI lockscreen I've come across. What font are you using for the labels?
thank's nice .
I think if you just aim your finger to the correct spot then lift it off it will unlock correctly.. I used to have a hard time unlockin them as well.. but you just have to know where the spot is that it needs to be exactly (right in the middle of the box's) in order to unlock it in one swipe..

UI look great. by the way i dont know how this things work since im not MIUI rom user to test this but it would be nice to make this compatible with other type of rom...is it those only a notification at lock screen or we can access those apps directly from lock screen like a widget. if we able to go directly to those lock screen, that no longer to be call lock screen. something like pocket dial will happen everytime.
please can post a video about this? thanks.
Hello XDA!
I made a very nice app that allows anyone to have lock screen widgets. You can configure up to 4 widgets. I will be creating a pro version in the near future with MANY more features!
You can download the app on Google Play!
Now anyone can have a page of widgets on their lock screen!
Widget Pager
WIDGET PAGER PRO IS NOW ACTIVE!!!!
Get It On Google Play
This widget doesn't work for my phone. After I install this app, I set the widget I want to be displayed on my lock screen, but nothing happened.
I'm using Allview V1 Viper S (Walton Primo S2 rebranded for Romania), with rooted stock ROM.
PS: Excuse me for my very bad english.
Android versions
Nice job but please mention Android versions it will work with.
Good luck !!!

Did you enable the app by ticking the check box where you configured your Widgets? If so, look in the bottom left hand corner on your lock screen for the button to show your Widgets.

Can you try the updated version and report back? Thanks a bunch!
I very like your widget! It runs good on my i9300 with Android 4.4.4
However I discoverd a bug: the time-out period for the lockscreen is now the same as the time-out period in display settings. Without your widget the time-out in lockscreen is the default 5 seconds.
Could you please fix this?

Also start icon can be more stylish (in my humble opinion like rounded with shadow) sorry for criticism
No rush

I'm not a big fan of graphic design
The code itself takes some time to build so the start icon was thrown together quickly Maybe in the future I'll make it nicer.
About resizing widgets, I am making a paid pro version that will allow resizable widgets, zoomable widgets, unlimited pages of widgets, paced-anywhere-widgets, and some other things I cannot recall. I do this in my free time and need to start profiting off my work. Which is why you see ads in the free version (Even though that doesn't generate a lot of money.

Thanks a bunch for the offer! I may take you up on that! I just don't have the time to make it look flawless. I love using the software tho.

UPDATE: 1/15/15
- Fixed reported crashes.
- Close widgets by pressing any button EXCEPT home and power button.
@elesbb not sure why I decided to give this application a try now as I had it bookmarked for some time, but omg, I've been missing out! anyways, a couple of suggestions on this software. possibility to either move the icon for activation or have it automatically move above the keyboard when trying to the enter password for a locked device. right now when my device requires a password to unlock, the icon for activation kind of gets in the way of the key to the lower left of the screen. would be nice if the activation icon would move itself above the top row of the keyboard when opened or allow one to configure its placement. another suggestion is some way to remove the widgets from the application as there doesn't seem to be a way to remove them once added. not that big of a deal as I figured out four widgets to add, but prior to this I was at a loss to clear ones that I had added.

Hey, just wondering if you could help me get your xposed modules working?
G900V (Verizon)
NK2 stock (rooted)
Galaxy S5 Widgets Module
Samsung Multiple Widgets Module
I've been trying to get the widgets to work while using pattern lock. While set to swipe, I can add, remove, edit, etc the widgets. Set to pattern I press the +, it has me unlock device and then I can choose which widget I want to add. It only adds widgets to the lock screen while set to swipe. Any one else encounter this or know how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!
@elesbb not sure if this default behavior, but it looks like when I activate Widget Pager and leave it open the screen never goes back to sleep...

What good would having your widgets open for you to see them if the screen would just shut off when it feels like it? Its default behaviour. Either shut it off manually or close the widgets. If I didn't add that, people would complain that they couldn't read/interact quickly enough with their widget because the screen kept shutting off.
Corgi Locker: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.swipe.android&hl=en
Floatify: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jamworks.floatify&hl=en
I found a way to make your lockscreen look completely like stock Android with fingerprint unlock, without compromising your device security, using apps called "Corgi for Feedly News Magazine" and "Floatify". The Corgi locker can be a lock screen that shows news of your interests, or a completely stock looking lock screen, if you choose to turn off the news feature of it. Floatify is an app that can show customized notifications on your stock lockscreen (and small toast notifications that appear from the top of your screen), like Nougat themed ones even when you are running an older Android version
Floatify works on a stock lockscreen only, but in this case, if you set Corgi Locker to fingerprint security, it only creates an overlay of the AOSP looking lockscreen over your real lockscreen. Your real lock screen is still below, and your device is having the security of a real system-level fingerprint lock while having a customized lock screen, and it allows Floatify to give you completely stock Nougat themed lock screen notifications on any Android version without root

Guide:
1. Download both apps, Corgi Locker and Floatify
2. In Corgi Locker, go to settings, and disable "Hot News Widget", also you can choose the wallpaper as "Home wallpaper"
3. In Corgi settings, change security to "fingerprint" if it isn't already, and if you aren't already using a system-level fingerprint unlock, it will prompt you to enable real system fingerprint unlock method (do it)
4. Open Floatify, and go along the setup process, when it has 2 tick boxes for notifications and lock screen, if you want to, you can only choose to keep lock screen enabled. This way you won't change anything else, you won't have boxes appearing on top of your screen when receiving notifications
5. Once you have went through the setup process, you should be in a tile menu with 8 different colored tiles. Here, head over to "Style", and tap "Themes", and select "Android N", and disable "Shadow" at the bottom
6. Go back to the tile menu, and tap "Heads-up", then tap "Position", then under "Position on lock screen", tap "Position" and change it to "Center". Now drag the "Position Offset (Y)" slider to 7%
7. Setup is done, check if your lockscreen works :good:
I'm in no way affiliated by Corgi Locker (or Floatify), it's just the only app I've ever found that looks completely stock and works as an overlay to the real secure lockscreen, and thus completely secures your phone from stealing (people can't simply boot to safe mode and delete the custom locker). If you have any problems, leave a reply and I'll help :good:
Edit: Tip: By changing the window animation scale to 0x in developer settings, you can get rid of the iOS-like zooming animation of icons and other things when unlocking your display. And if you are using Nova Launcher, you can set wallpaper scroll option in settings to "force" to get rid of the wallpaper zooming when unlocking your phone, because with the force setting, the wallpaper is rendered by a Nova API, and not by the phone system that will add a zooming effect to it (if you have these zooming animations, they only exist on GraceUX)

Worked great thanks!
This doesn't seem to work with lockscreen shortcuts (when i try opening them screen just sits on wallpaper).
Which Lockscreen is the one on that picture because mine with floatify doesn't look that good

If you mean peeking (or heads up) then disable them in notification settings. If you're running stock TW Nougat 7.0 then you have to use adb to turn off stock peeking
When I swipe up on the new lockscreen, it vanishes and my old system one appears. Is there a way to fix that?
Thanks for this!!
I will try this out soon. I am a little confused about the Floatify Settings.
