Anyone have issue with the front camera w/flash producing terrible pictures? My pictures get a very bright blue tint, especially taking pictures of people.
It is driving me nuts. Any suggestion on tweaks or camera settings that seem to work best for you guys/gals?
Not here.. this thing takes amazing pics.. very clear.. I just have a few settings on ..like "no shake" and auto res...
This will happen when taking pictures indoor in which the surrounding lightening is incandescent (warm lighting). The flash emits a whiter/fluorescent flash which will make your picture look blue'ish behind the surrounding warm lighting. The pictures wont look as bad if the surrounding light is fluorescent.
Unfortunately, the way around this is not to use the flash. Try to get as much surrounding lightening as possible and use Auto ISO. Don't forget you can hold down the shutter button to pre-focus so when you release the shutter button, there is minimal shutter lag. Still difficult if your taking pictures of kids that can't stay still, but this is my approach to avoid the blueish white tint from the flash.

Hi, this is a concern related to the camera. In fact, when i use a traditional point and shot camera, when I am moving and l take a shot with the flash light on, the focus locks perfectly and the shot looks like that if I stand still and took it. But however, when I am using any of my phone and do the same thing, the shots look blur even that the flash light is on, why?

Hi
I have this phone since 2 weeks now and it's great...except for one thing. Indoor shots.
Almost all my pictures are blurry as soon as a person moves
Have you found a way to avoid this ?
Thx
Use the flash?
For some reason, in low light i get a purple tint around my pictures , even with gcam , and with the stock camera , night mode pictures are awfull, its completely purple, anyone else with this issue aswell ? Or is it something normal
Sample pics?
some sample pics, had to figure out how to post them since i havent really posted anything before
its really obvious in the first image, you can also see faint purple tint in the 2nd image, sometimes its the whole pictue that is purple if its completely dark when i use night mode
edit; since this is a junior account with less then 10 posts , i cannot upload images it seems , wich really sucks so sorry i dont know how to upload it otherwise

Yeah, I got some purpling too on the viewfinder in low light situations. And the resulting photo is purplish where it should be black. I tried a different gcam, twichaya and loaded the twichaya2.xml and that took better pictures with no purpling.

i see , so it is software related then , because i have the exact same thing as you said, i was curious if it could be hardware related , i'll see if i can find that gcam
