Hi, recently I've been tweaking out my Nexus 5 and used MultiROM to install CyanogenMod 13 as my secondary system alongside Android 6.0.1 but I have a question: How can I install GApps for CyanogenMod 13 only but not for Android 6.0.1 from my MultiROM recovery?

Hi, its pretty simple,
1. Boot into your TWRP MultitROM Recovery
2. When your booted up the TWRP MultitROM Recovery go to "Advanced"
3. Now you will see in the Advanced menu the option "MultiROM"
4. Go to "MultiROM" and then to "List ROMs"
5. Now you will see all your secondary ROMs, click on the one you want to flash a ZIP for
6. Now you will see a lot of options, you need the "Flash ZIP" option, click on that option and locate to the ZIP you want to flash.
7. Now the flashing process will be just like normal, Swipe to Confirm Flash and it will just flash the ZIP on your secondary ROM like is does on your internal ROM.
I hope this is enough info for you, good luck! :good:

In the case of a OnePlus One, this was a stock 4.4.4 ROM. If you're using Windows, you can use the official NETHUNTER WINDOWS INSTALLER, which selects the correct image to download based on your device model.

I can confirm that this also works on OnePlus One! In my case these are the steps I followed (for your own sake, please read all steps before doing any of them):
Start from having a Stock CM12.0S Lollipop ROM installed.
If wasn't done previously: Backup + Unlock + Root + Backup EFS.
Install MultiROM and get it running according to one of the guides linked-to from the Play store page of MultiROM. Make sure you select the correct kernel version 5.0.x!!!! I wasn't paying attention and lost both of my WiFi and cellular connections after reboot and had to flash a bunch of stock ROMs randomly to fix it.
Perform a nandroid backup and copy it to your computer.
Install NetHunter using the Windows tool (may require manually flashing the kali_linux_nethunter_1.xx_...zip at the end) (see link at the top).
Install MultiROM again, this time on NetHunter, selecting the proper kernel (4.4.x).
Go to the MultiROM TWRP and:
Perform a nandroid backup as a precaution.
Transfer the first nandroid backup to device and add it as a ROM "from backup".
Swap the main ROM (which is currently NH) with the newly restored backup (Lollipop).
Boot into Lollipop and run MultiROM again, going through the setup steps again (this is needed so you could boot into NH. If you skip this step you will get a message when attempting to boot into NH that the kernel needs patching).
That's it!
Finally got NH to dual boot on my N5 CM12.1 nightly by installing multirom with CM12.1 kernel, search and download aosp_hammerhead-ota-eng.proxuser-14-11-2013 zip to your SD, flash via modded multirom twrp: advanced, multirom, add zip and reboot. Be quick and choose to boot into the Kitkat ROM. Reboot again but into recovery and flash SU to Kitkat ROM via advanced, list roms, choose the Kitkat rom, flash zip. Reboot once more and flash NetHunter Kitkat zip on top of the Kitkat rom you just flashed and rooted with SU via Advanced, multirom, list ROMs, choose Kitkat rom, flash zip. Optional: Reboot into recovery, go to advanced, multirom, list roms and rename it to whatever you want e.g. NetHunter. Reboot, Enjoy!
Tried several stock lollipop ROMs with NetHunter for lollipop to no avail. This is the only method I found that worked...
Xiaomi mi4c easy root and Twrp install For not found open bootloader !!! My operational guidance :good:

2. Run Twrp Swipe fastory reset and install twrp Android 5.1 Swipe Dalvik / Art Cache Cache and reboot

3. unpack Twrp libra for Android 7 image instalation.
4. Swipe Dalvik / Art Cache and Cache and install image twrp for Android 7 and next install Android 7 rom reboot

Entry into TWRP over apk Ndr Utils
link Twrp : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767135741[/url]
link Super su : https://download.chainfire.eu/1003/SuperSU/SR1-SuperSU-v2.78-SR1-20160915123031.zip
Please follow the procedure and you will be surprised
?????
Detail please
I just gotta break it down into the steps I get :
First step:
- go to TWRP and do factory reset
- Flash supersu zip file in the link
- Flash MIUI OS 5.1 and wipe dalvik&cache
- Reboot then check for root with installing root checker app
Second step:
- Go back to TWRP and do another factory reset
- flash TWRP for OS 5.1 zip file and wipe dalvik&cache
- reboot then install NDR Utils and run a test with this app.
Third step:
- unpack the IMG file of the TWRP for OS 7 in the link
Fourth step:
- wipe dalvik&cache then install the unpacked TWRP
- install OS 7 ROM then reboot
- From Google play install TWRP app then install the unpacked TWRP again from the app
- go to TWRP recovery using NDR Utils app
- be surprised
I got few questions, just to figure out where is the magic :
1. Which ROM version do we start from ?
2. What if we already got root? Skip to second step? I use MIUI8 6.12.22 MS and it already have root. And play store.
3. Why we have to flash the TWRP OS 5.1? I mean it already what we use.
4. What test to run with NDR Utils? It seems that it only works with TWRP XZDR recovery (I don't know what it is)
5. What is the OS 7 ROM we can flash? Is it the update version? And what for? To retain root? What if the update got no root? TWRP app need root to flash the IMG file, if the OS 7 ROM got no root then we're finished.
6. What if we just:
-Flash TWRP OS 7
-Flash OS 7 ROM with root
-Flash TWRP OS 7 again
-reboot, install TWRP app, flash the OS 7 IMG
Will it give the same result?

Hi Folks,
I am not sure if you are aware, but there is a large list of GSI ROMs that will work on the One Max, including LineageOS 16 (Android 9)! Everything appears to work (not 100% about NFC) including the camera. Here is the complete list:
https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/wiki/Generic-System-Image-(GSI)-list
For some of these ROMs, you will need to install Gapps:
I recommend "pico"
https://opengapps.org/
Before you begin. DO A BACKUP FIRST!
The best method, after installing TWRP, and removing encryption is this:
1. Download/extract this LineageOS version:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/an...0-20190609-UNOFFICIAL-treble_arm64_avN.img.xz
2. Download ARM64/9.0 Gapps / https://opengapps.org/
3. Do a full Wipe.
4. Install the LineageOS image first. Pick Install Image > Pick LOS image > Select system partition
5. After image is done, go back to main menu in TWRP. Pick Install > Zip > Install Gapps.
6. Reboot, Setup Google Account, and restore your cloud backup.
7. Download latest Magisk app & Zip and install.
8. Refer to _cab13_ post. Towards the bottom on getting Magisk working with GSI Roms:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/umidigi-one-max-custom-rom-modding-t3942521
In TWRP, mount the /vendor and /system partitions to be able to copy files from one directory to another.
9. At this point, d'load a root checker app to verify prompts are working. You should now have rooted LOS16!
Encryption
After starting LOS and initial boot screen pops up w encryption, and says system UI keeps stopping.
Tries to encrypt the phone.
I formatted data and installed disable encryption zip after LOS image install
Any help appreciated

You need the `unxz` tool, and all you have to do is `unxz <file.xz>` and it will unpack it.
