I ported HTC ROM to my device mt6735 everything is working except messaging,
Unable to send or receive text messages phone calls are working well only problem with text messages whenever I send ''unfortunately messaging has stopped'' used 3rd party apps no use help me guys

I'm using Mike's ARHD 6.6.4 on my Sensation 4g, and things have been totally wonderful with it . . . except that starting yesterday, out of the blue, the stock messaging app tags all of my text messages as "pending" and will not send them. I can, however, still receive text messages with the stock app. By contrast, I downloaded GO SMS, and I can send AND receive messages just fine. But, the stock app still won't send any messages.
Anyone seen this problem, or have an idea of what settings I can tweak?

If I send a text message with the OK google, the message doesn't appear in any SMS app I've tested. Is there something I'm missing or is this just how it is on 5.01

Having the same problem with my Alcatel Idol 3. If I send a text message using voice (whether "ok google" or any other speech-to-text method), the message is sent, but there remains no local copy on the phone.
This didn't happen until the most recent Android update

I'm with Sprint carrier with we know u can't have Internet access while on a call unless u around WiFi, however I use Hangouts as my default messenger n that unable me receive my text r whatsapp messages whenever I'm on a call, is there a app whether it's 3rd party that can allow me see my message?. My Hangout number is my primary number, which seem like it only works thru Internet..... Thx

Trying using hangout for phone texting instead of using default texting app.
Dear all, am facing a problem with (1) mass texting (SMS) to groups of contacts, (2) how to maintain texts sent is only SMS and not MMS, (3) how to use Android messages as SMS only.
1. It keep showing that XXX app wants to sent mass messages, but when it's allowed to, it still does not get sent out.
2. Some of the msgs via other apps turn out as MMS instead of SMS.
3. My phone can't seems to access the old msgs via android messages. And can't send out sms via Android message too.
