Root for 5.1.1 N910C

Note 4 N910C 5.1.1 Root​
This Package roots you Note 4 with 5.1.1 rom. To use this root make sure you have 5.0.1 Bootloader installed or you will have bootloop! This package Removes Knox and Installs SuperSu,Busybox,5.0.1 Modem and Modded googymax n4 kernel.
Note: this package installs 5.0.1 modem for N910C so dont use it on any other modells!! only for devs at the moment because instable!!
How to use:
1: Download the flashable zip
2: Load it on your phone
3: Install 5.0.1 Bootloader with odin and reboot in recovery (when you allready have this go to step 4)
4: install the zip you downloaded above
5: reboot

ok. I think we will se the infamous HOW DO WE MAKE THIS WORK THINGY type of question will arrive... so i make this guide...
1. Download and Flash the said modified Googy kernel via cwm or twrp and then reboot to download mode.
2. Download old 5.01 bootloader and flash it via odin in the BL section.

3. odin will auto restrat your device. if you see the blank screen after samsung logo. just pull out your batt and start your device again.

i tested it with this rom and works you only need 5.0.1 bootloader. fingerprint works then too

How to Change / Cust de C900 a C432

Well I've been one of those who will rom C432 and B136 are low and having the mobile operator Orange, I put my dload in SD and go and install folder.
Result? F u c k !! the / Cust breaks and without official support cross rom gets. designation C900
As you know it is wrong? because if you go about ... you go C900 and if push this sequence * # * # 2 8 4 6 5 7 9 # * # * and going to point 3. Network Information Query and Push point 4. Vendor Country Info, you will the following:
If you have C900
Vendor: Your Vendor ORANGE put in my case.
Country: All
If you have properly installed the C432:
Vendor: hw
Country: eu
So we got the rom and have a cross-EVA-rom L09C900b136 (It is said that is not safety for Huawei and not receiving OTAs officers Huawei). As a Rom C432 switched to European Official Libre?
After a few hours of tinkering ... I managed to put clean the original C432 European free so you can receive all OTA without problems.
Steps:
1º- Open Bootloader. Following the pushpin method.
2º- install TWR recovery.
install 3rd- c432-oeminfo-flash-twrp-t3384903 This restarts and formats etc. It is installed from the previously twr and recovery, we need to copy that file to the SD.
4º- After restarting ... We turned and 3 buttons on the right and reinstall clean the C432 from the Dload folder of the SD. We turned off
Yeeeeeeeeeeah !!
We have EVA-L09C432b136
A work !!
You will have opened the boot loader, but closed again to get the official rom. Whereupon, if you will open ... will play back to. Open bootloader (all formats) etc and then root and restore your backup if you have it.
I hope you serve. To me it has helped me.
I am not responsible for any damage that can cause and blablabla. Anyway I think a brick in this phone is really difficult.

After in fastboot mode you can install recovery more easy.

First I had already unlocked the bootloader, and already the root.
After Then I did unroot, installed recovery stocks, and updated with DLOAD folder to B136, but my firmware version is now C900 and not C432.
I can not install the Recovery TWRP ......

The have make the same. Install recovery same install root. But your bootloader it's closed now. Because after install C432, the bootloader are closed for the firmware.
Repeat. Open Bootloader ( You have your code ). And after... recovery.

At the step 3°, flashing the oem file also restore the stock recovery ?
If not, do i need to reflash stock recovery before using the dload file ?

Volevo sottoporti un quesito: ho acquistato da un privato un p9 plus sul quale c'era un firmware c900b174; contattata huawei, mi ha risposto che era un tim brand; la persona che me lo ha venduto, visto che a quanto pare il c900 nn riceve updates, mi ha installato un firmware originale tim, c55b160; andando a cercare in version info, ecco cosa mi appare da screenshot; il kernel è rimasto il c900...è normale, per ottenere futuri ota? This tutorial worked like a charm

Has anybody tried to use the "Rollback Firmware C900B300" to change the /cust Partition? As far as I understand it, this rollback Firmware doesn't do any checks which firmware is currently installed. And after C900B300 is installed, the C432B182 full package can be installed. Maybe this helps to get rid of the branding without unlocking the bootloader or flashing TWRP.
I haven't tried it myself, proceed with caution !

I used the rollback, no unlocking required.
Install the rollback then the 166 Rom, themes were still broken but all hw worked, I then installed the 136 full package that restored themes and cust part then i upgraded back to 166

hello i'm French ! I tried all but i'm on c900 and when my phone is on the fastboot&rescue mode I can read Phone Locked FRP Unlock and with srk tool I still on waiting for device, what can I do to unlocked my phone ?

Tried changing OEM info for my L19C185. Managed to unlock bootloader again and get C900. Couldn't get the thing to show up as SEA model properly and flash with latest nougat.
Any suggestions?

that is the problem, you should not have installed the update if you had the Bootloader unlocked o ROOT.

Before install OTA update,you MUST in stock ROM without any mod like flash custom recovery or root or uninstall any apps.
No need relock bootloader.
Solution : flash newest stock MM by cmd command or RSD Lite.

For people who had tried to flash the soak test and failed have no way to upgrade to nougat at this moment.
I myself had tried to update the soak test via stock recovery and stuck into bootloop.
I unlocked my bootloader & rolled back to 6.0.1, but yesterday when I got the official ota for 7.1.1 I simply downloaded the update was halfway through the upgradation process suddenly it showed the android logo with red exclamation mark & when I tried to turn my device on it was stuck in bootloop.
I again flashed the stock 6.0.1 rom and found some strange issue i.e. when I am getting the marshmallow ota (3 otas of MM), the device is restarting to the bootloader instead of getting into the recovery and updating automatically which used to happen earlier, once I click the volume down button and enter the recovery manually the update automatically starts to get applied.
After all the 3 ota when I once again got the notification for 7.1.1 upgrade it was again struck midway with the android and red exclamation sign.
So had to again roll back to 6.0.1
Earlier I had the moto g1 and things were not this complex back then, it was so easy to flash the soak test or captured ota via stock recovery
People who are facing this issue have to flash 6.0.1 and wait for moto to release 7.1.1 fastboot rom or if someone releases a twrp flashable 7.1.1 zip :crying:

When you downgrade to 601, dont flash 2 file: motoboot and gpt.bin. Flash all except 2 that file

why in my x play i didn't get update yet??????

I just got the OTA update today too.
Edit. I am a thai user.

Exactly two years after me buying this phone, I am glad the promise is finally delivered on by Motorola (now Lenovo I guess). A little late, yeah sure. But none the less it is here and happy I am! If I had bought a Samsung/Asus/LG or any other top brand's phone worth 15K INR (it was a big billion deal on Flipkart) in 2015 I doubt I would be able to say the same now.

Anyone capture the ota:
When you receive an OTA notification, DON'T download it. To capture the OTA, follow the steps mentioned below:
1. Download Terminal Emulator from the Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ww.apk4fun.com).
2. Open Terminal Emulator and type: "logcat > /sdcard/ota.txt" (without quotes).
3. Go back to the OTA notification & click on download.
4. When the download process is starting, switch back to terminal emulator & close it.
5. Browse to your SD Card using any file manager. There you'll find a file named "OTA.txt". Open it & search for OTA download link in it.
That's it.

My steps update to October patch

My Mi A1 is unlocked by MiFlash stock rom and rooted by ghpranav's AIO Tool. It has updated to September patch and with FlashFire + SuperSu.
The followings is my steps update to October patch,
1. Download ravinder0003's CF auto root boot.img and copy it into adb folder.
2. Connect Mi A1 with PC,

adb devices
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot devices
fastboot getvar all
3. Slot b is current active slot in my phone which has September patch and rooted. Slot a is unrooted.
Code:
fastboot set_active a
fastboot reboot
4. Reboot system into slot a. After reboot, system update to October patch, the patch will be updated into slot b.
My update patch is huge size, 1060.5MB. As we konw the patch should be 118MB from September to October, I don't know why my size is so huge. Maybe because I deleted some media file and systme apps after I updated September patch in slot b before.
5. Auto reboot after success update and I got bootloop on Mi logo.
6. Press Volume down + Power buttons to enter fastboot mode.
7. Reboot system into updated slot b.
Code:
fastboot set_active b
fastboot reboot
8. System has updated to October patch. Then get root,
Code:
fastboot boot boot.img
Waiting auto reboot in several minutes, be patience.
Open FlashFire app to confirm whether system get rooted.
That's all and for your reference.

Before I update system, I forgot to check which month's patch in my slot a. So when I update to October patch in slot b, I don't know which patch is in my slot a now.
In your case, if October patch is in your slot b, September patch is in slot a, when you boot to slot a, of coursre you go back to September patch.

Unlock your phone first.
And October update patched root image file click here .

Will I need to reflash everything that works on the system partition as well ? (For example, Xposed, Viperaudio, GLTools, etc)

I am stuck in a boot loop. I tried to update from September to October image using miflash. When it was in September build it was rooted and I installed Xposed. I am waiting from 1hr still it's in boot loop. Plz help.

I suggest you download stock rom from here and MiFlash it with "Save User Data" option.
So you get October build, then unlock and root your system next.

Thanks a lot for the reply bro. I flashed the October image from official MIUI site which you provided along with latest miflash but still getting bootloop. One thing I observed is that after flashing stock my bootloader automatically getting locked. I unlocked the bootloader and flashed the stock image again, still getting bootloop. Tried in both slot a and b. Technically it should work, don't know why it's not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

set_active command is missing from my fastboot.

phone bricked need help please!

hello everyone
thanks for entring this thread
here is my problem
i received a notification around 3 weeks ago that my device has an update to 13.0.1.0 official rom
i tried once to download it and every time i download around 2 gb of rom it just restart and nothing happened and tells me to redownload i download it 3 times and no good
today for no reason i tried to update it and phone went into loop
here what i tried
tried to unlock using mi unlock - fastboot oem unlock = no use
tried to flash using XiaoMi tool cant find surya model
tried to use mi flash it says cant install in locked state
tried to use mi pcsuite cannot verify rom signiture
also noticed that the fastboot logo has changed from the bunny to orange fastboot logo

If the bootloader is locked none of these tools will work.
Maybe Mi pcsuite but you say "problem signature".
Mi pcsuite (Miphone assistant) must be used from recovery.
Where did you download the rom and which one?
Have you tried erasing the data from recovery?

the file was from the phone itself the official rom miui 13.0.1.0.sjgmixm
how i know the name because my wife has same phone her phone didnt accept the file but my phone did update it
my wife's phone gave her that error in file signature and ask to redownload it
i had this issue but i don't know why it accepted it yesterday i thought they fixed the issue
i erased the data still caught in loop
recovery and fastboot works but no sign for booting up
mi assistant from recovery doesn't read the phone asks to connect the device when trying to update flash
r.flash it asked to try normal before switch or couldn't retrieve rom signature

yeap,it is a recovery rom but normally you should have downloaded the same one you had on the phone.

Are you sure of the version of your phone?
Have you tried with Mi assistant version 4?
Maybe based on what was displayed on the phone, it's always written global even if you have another version of rom like EEA (for Europe or others).
What matters are the penultimate 2 letters.
EUXM=EEA Europe
MIXM=Global
TRXM=Turkey
RUXM=Russia
INXM=India
JPXM=Japan
IDXM=Indonesia
TWXM=Taiwan
CNXM=China
DEV=Public Beta​

It's a global, you must try with this version of rom,12.5.8.0

so iam tring to download another from this website

these the versions that i tried
and i will try this version from this website because its file differ around 0.2 gig less that other sites
so i will give it a shot if the other files are unofficial may be this will go through who knows

it seems to me that this tool displays the rom you are on and automatically downloads the version(choose SURYA _Factory).

i have undless bootloop after downgrade from android 13 to 10, everything locked, can't access to recovery, just fastboot and when flashing i have always error : can't flash coz phone is in locked state , i can't found any solution
any help for that or any trick to bypass locked state and install recovery
