[Q] Nexus S crashed. Will not charge or turn on.

Hey guys,
So my beloved Nexus S has completely seemed to have kicked the bucket. I'll tell you what happened in as much detail as I can, followed by what I've tried and if any of you guys have any tips, please enlighten me cause as it stands right now, I am at a loss.
I was over at my buddy's place for the game tonight and his place is pretty much a faraday cage where I get absolutely no signal. So upon leaving I noticed that my phone is still displaying zero bars. Nothing unusual. Figured I'll check it again in a minute or two to let it reconnect. 5 minutes pass and still nothing. Rare but I have had this happen before. On the rare occasion that the phone just wasn't able to jump back onto Wind's network, I would either cycle airplane mode on and off or just restart the phone and this would fix it. So I turn airplane mode on but notice that while the signal meter disappears, the plane icon never pops up. At this point I start thinking something is amiss... I try to turn wifi on or off but once again, it doesn't pick up anything.... time to cycle the power. So I hold down the power button, select Power Off on the pop up menu and wait for the phone to shut down. Phone shuts off. Wait a few seconds. Turn phone back on. The Google logo appears for a brief second, then the screen just goes blank and the phone just dies.
The phone is rooted but is running stock Jellybean.
Battery was at least 50% when this happened.
It will not respond to the power button at all.
I've tried pulling the battery as well as using my spare battery.
I've tried holding Vol Up + Power, as well as Vol Up + Vol Down + Power.
I've tried plugging it into the charger. (No response. Doesn't even show as charging).
I've tried plugging it into my laptop. Same thing. Tried pulling the battery while it's plugged in and booting/holding reset. Nothing
Phone is completely bricked.
Edit: Just noticed this but I've had the phone plugged into my laptop while typing this up and the area just above the battery around the SIM card has heated up a bit.
Any suggestions? I seriously don't have the cash for a new phone right now so any help is much appreciated =/.
Most likely the motherboard is toast. Happened to a lot of us after upgraded to JB/CM10.
Bring it back to Wind service centre for repair. Not sure how much you will be paying if out of warranty.

Won't power on

My myTouch worked for a really long time, even while overclocked. Today, when I was playing a game (Minecraft) it gets much hotter than normal. So I place it on my fan, just a floor fan, to let it cool down. Once it's cooled down, I resume my game. Out of nowhere, it just freezes and shuts off, then restarts, then turns off again once the BIOS splash goes away. It doesn't power on until I press the power button, then it only runs the BIOS splash and shuts off again. I try again, and it powers on to the boot screen, and then it shuts off again shortly after. I try it again, then just BIOS. And yet again, then a successful boot after letting it charge for about 10 minutes. I take a shower and when I come out it works fine, but 10 seconds into use, while I pressed the Bluetooth notification drawer widget button, it freezes and shuts off. From here on, it won't power on at all. I plug it into computer, nothing. All that works is the dim red LED on the trackpad. I press the power button, trackpad light turns on for a few seconds, then off. I press again, turns on for a second then off. When I hold the power button, the light is on and blinks every 10 seconds. No key combos work. Charge light does not come on when plugged in to either computer or wall charger. Any fix for this?
Not a fun situation, very possible your emmc is fried but there is a chance its just the battery. Let it charge overnight and if possible test a new battery
But there is a high likelihood you're going to need a new logicboard
If you're after a new device I do have a few oneplus one invites left...
Best of luck!

I have a very similar problem, i recently came across the mytouch 4g slide in the closet and remembered that it died due to charging overnight, 2-3 years ago lol, well the phone still does what it did after it died, no vibrations screen etc, the only sign of life is the two red lights one at the top left of the screen and the trackpad, could this be just the battery that got fried that night? Should of gotten this fixed those years ago but just got a new phone instead.
Possible but could also be a sign of a bad logic board
I have an extra one if any of you want it, not selling it, I can just mail it to ya, PM me about it, whatever. It's got moderate chips and dents, but works fine except sometimes the soft keys don't always work and you have to restart the phone. It has the latest CWM recovery and the latest 4.4.4 ION ROM. No SD card ships, but baseband and all wireless works, but uh, it's SIM locked and S is still ON. Bootloader is unlocked. I'll give you an extra screen and an extra battery, too.
I fixed the one I posted this thread about after I realized I could buy a new motherboard directly from HTC with a few hidden strings pulled (I'm just that special) and before that I ordered the one I'm talking about now that I'm trying to get rid of on Amazon.
So, yeah. best way to fix one is to get a new motherboard, the one from HTC's old stock warehouse that I got took a week or so to ship, and I cracked the casing opening it and almost ripped a connector ribbon, and I also think that this phone surpasses the G1 as the most mechanically intricate device I've disassembled. I've done a few, but man, this blew the top.

Hot Galaxy phone s6

Please help me.
I am a big problem with my phone when I download a lot and I played phone's horribly hot. The power button phone so that I burn. Is there a solution to this problem?

Rooted Galaxy S6 (Sprint Variant SM-G920P) bricked after overnight charge

So basically, I fell asleep and left my phone charging and when I woke up, the green full charge light was on but nothing made the phone turn on. I tried holding the power button for 30 secs, holding the power and volume down button for awhile, and basically all sorts of button configurations but nothing seems to work. The light stayed on for a couple hours until I'm assuming the phone died. I spoke to a samsung employee and after I told him about the root, he said that the samsung had some kind of ota update that kinda bricks a rooted phone and that I'm basically screwed. Im not sure if that was just him being a samsung employee or not, but either way I'm sure it has something to do with it. Is there any way I can completely reset the firmware in it so I can at least use it again? I plugged it into my wall charger and computer with absolutely no sign of life. This seems like a very hard brick that most likely is the end for the phone, but before i go spend 200 dollars on a phone upgrade, is there anyway for me to get the phone working? Or on? Any help or advice is appreciated, thank you.

LG g5 VS987 (Verizon) will not power up or go into recovery mode

Very confused as to what happened to my favorite phone ever.
All was smooth, I fell asleep without charging it which was unusual. Woke up, phone is off & will not power up.
Plugged it up, still nothing.
Fast forward to now, I purchased a new battery (factory) & external wall charger thinking that was the prob b/c there were red dots on the little white battery circles (sorry but no clue what the official name for those are) but still absolutely nothing.
I have no clue what caused the original battery to get damaged/wet. Nothing was spilled, it wasn't dropped.
It's incredibly frustrating.
Now trying all the "push this button, hold that button" recovery tricks that I have combed through and it still will not do a thing whatsoever, zero reaction.
My g5 has officially left the building hasn't it?
So what, if anything, can I try at this point?
I've tried the volume down & power button combo, also tried the volume down wait see logo then press power button...etc...
Willing to try just about anything... I realllly love that rude ass phone!
