Problem with LGR-100 VR Headset - LG G5 Accessories

Hello, everybody.
I'm not sure if I'm writing to the correct forum but I have a problem with LGR-100.
It was working fine before I updated to V10c-TUR-XX. After the update phone recognizes the headset but when I put it on it doesn't start working, nothing happens. Also the vr manager app shows the device model as FAIL. I tried cleaning the proximity sensor on the headset, rebooted the phone, re-installed friends manager, vr manager and all vr apps but the device is still not working. If anyone knows a solution I'd be very grateful.
Edit: An update to the friends manager app came tonight and my problem has been fixed. Problem solved

Not that this would fix your problem, but was wondering if you can help answer a question I have about the VR headset, can you watch Netflix, YouTube videos or any kind using the headset?

Yes you can watch youtube videos via 360vr internet app but im not sure about netflix

have u found how to fix the problem cause i have the same thing on my lg vr

I think i've found the problem but I am not that brave to fix it.
I've debugged the device over wifi when plugging in the headset and there are error messages pointing LG's 'lgvragent' app, I'm thinking about getting root access and replacing the system app with the older one from V10A system dumps but if that doesn't work I'll lose my chance to return it to service.

Connection Problems After Update

Since the update, my SW2 seems to be incapable of playing nicely with any other Bluetooth-enabled devices. If I am in an area where it is just my phone (LG G2 running KK) and the watch, everything works just fine. But if my phone connects to something else via BT, for example my car stereo or BT headphones), the watch will immediately disconnect and the only way to reestablish a connection is to power cycle the watch.
I'm trying to determine if this is a problem with the firmware update or simply a matter of a problem between phone's BT firmware and the watch. Anyone else have the same issue?
I don't face this problem. I've used 2 BT headphones models without any issue.

Before the update I had zero connection problems. After the update my SW2 constantly disconnects and sometimes reconnects, other times I have reconnect by going through smart connect and un-pairing/re-pairing to power cycle the watch. I have tried disabling apps and even removing all apps and resetting all to no avail. This is extremely frustrating because my fancy new expensive piece of tech is 99% useless . Also I have ZERO bluetooth devices on in the area besides the SW2.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is there a way to flash and/or format the SW2? I tried SUS(sony update service) which USED to have the SW2 in it with a repair option but they have since removed the SW2 in the latest version 2.14.6.2014170858.

I have the same problem with my new sw2 firm: 1.0.B.4.154 and my sgs4 standard ROM .If You find some solutions for this problem please wright how make this.
Question: does any of you guys use the 'watchwidgets' app?
I had disconnection problems too only while using the clock widgets from this app.
As soon as I removed it all went back to normal.
I'd strongly suggest a connectivity test without the use of any 3rd party screen candy, at least for a day, maybe it'll help you find the culprit.

I think the problem is on te watch because i try for four different phone with only 1 aplication for smw2 is smart watch connection
i think about loading Rom for watch but i don't now how.
It sounds like a watch problem indeed... can't you go to Sony with it? If you're still under warranty maybe they'll change it...
As for a watch ROM...there isn't any, as far as I am aware.

Same issues here. Mix of roms. With some roms all seams fine for a while. It always ends up with disconnects. I'm trying to find a reason. Mix of software and hardware. Coudl you post the HW version of your SW?

Youtube freezing.

I recently had a problem with YouTube videos freezing on my Galaxy S5. It would play for around 30 seconds and the video would freeze but the audio would continue, and if you moved the slider it would correct the issue temporarily(another 30 seconds or so). I did a little googling to find the cause and the only thing I found that solved the problem was disabling the ANT Radio Service. This isn't a question or something I really need help with unless someone knows how to fix it without disabling the ANT Radio Service, I just wanted to get this info out to anyone else having the problem.

Had a similar problem some weeks ago that self corrected after a few days - guessing it was a network problem. I was not using ANT.
I have the exact same issue. I have had to revert back to the original version of youtube again. It wasnt doing it for a while but then an update borked it up again.
I get this problem when I change the video to 1080p.

microphone problem

the problem is: when I'm on call, the mic works perfectly, but when I turn on the speaker, the microphone stops working, , when I'm on a WhatsApp call or facebook call the mic works well, even when i activate the speaker, the problem is only whe i activate the speaker on a normal call,,,
any idea?
dis anyone else have this issue?

speaker phone problem
I am now having the same problem. I can use the microphone for notes or other dictation, but it is inconsistent for the telephone speaker phone. I restarted the mate 7 and it worked for a short time and then stopped working. I recently encrypted the phone, but otherwise using the same apps except for adding WAZE.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it trying to route to BT instead?
What do you mean by BT?
Bluetooth.
The bluetooth was turned off so that wasn't the problem. Today, the speakerphone mic is working, at least for the moment. It is a bit frustrating. I emailed Huawei tech service, but in the past, there were not too helpful.

Unfortunately, no, I have not solved the problem. I find that if the speaker phone (microphone) is working, it may go off in mid-conversation. Yet, as someone else pointed out, the speaker phone (microphone) works perfectly with Whatsapp, dictation, and using it for other voice commands. It seems to be only related to telephone calls. The mate 7 is an MT7-L09, android 5.1.1. And, of course, Huawei doesn't even respond to customer service emails.
I finally received a message from Huawei tech service suggesting that it might be a bad sim card. However, it seems hard to believe that the microphone works well without the speakerphone and is intermittent while using the speakerphone. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
Has anyone tried a factory reset to see if it solves the speaker phone mic problem. It might be worth a try. Thanks.

I wish I knew. Obviously, there are quite a few people who have developed this problem, but there is no real help here or with Huawei. I asked before if anyone tried a factory reset, but there was no reply.
Just remove the ok google option and then remove the google now... it will work ok after. I had the same issue andtjis fixed it. Hope this helps

I tried doing what OscarBaia suggested, but it didn't work. However, I am not sure if I did it correctly. I never used google now. How did you remove the ok google option and google now? Please be specific. Thanks.

Thanks for the information, but I really don't want to root the phone. I've used Titanium Backup with another phone and it was great. I guess I will have to look for another solution.

I'm facing the same issue. I disabled OK Google and uninstalled Google Launcher using Titanium Back but still no luck.
Any other way to uninstall Google Now?

I don't see Google now in titanium backup.
BTW, I tried factory reset too. No joy.

No Audio coming out via Snapchat, Spotify ect...

ok I a dumbfounded on this. I flashed root and left if stock for a couple days while I installed Bixby. After using Whatsapp video call, ppl could hear me but I could hear them. So I flashed a Rom after uninstalling the app and reinstalling. In my history I noticed that sometime when you root thing might or might not stop working. I was able after flashing to get audio through the phone in Whatsapp. But now Snapchat , and Spotify are not working.... I am sure ppl have experienced this b4. Thanks for any input
update... so I flashed the same rom but this time didn't install the US csc. just kept it XEF. and everything is working... and ideas on a fix would help

Amazfit GTR 2 Sound and Mic problem

Hello, the microphone and speaker on my Amazfit GTR 2 watch stopped working. I answer my calls but it stops . I also can't play music or make voice commands. Does anyone have the same problem with me? Any solution for that?
Oher functions are ok. Please do assist if anyone faced the same problem and solved

After this update both microphone and speaker has stopped working.
same here, restart frequently music and mic not working, possibly it's hardware problem, did you guys tired service center?

After last update, no Alexa ... I try restarting watch but without effect.
Finally I do a factory reset and Alexa appear.
But... With
- Random restart on watch notification.
- No microphone.
- No speaker.
Support in France link me to an English page to create ticket (https://support.amazfit.com/en/ticket/create).
I've create ticket with link and sent logs with Zepp app.

I have made contact to Amazfit just like Zorelien. First they said it could be a problem in hardware. they said same thing to me, to contact the seller. I know that will not be the solution, once i return this watch and they give me a new one, after I procedure with an update will happen the same thing. so I told them this is a software issue, a BUG. I see many users with the same issue, looks like this new update (with the ALexa) causes a conflict with the audio controller ( Mic and speaker) . Probably Alexa is doing that. So what we really need is a new update with this Bug fix. If we all complain to the Amazfit they will get that sooner. I'm wating for a few months , I still have time (warranty) if the update not shows up in time I will return the watch.

For me, yes it start after Alexa update.
I think it'll be Alexa and hardware conflict.
Amazfit Support ask me lot of question about this problem, it ask me to send them video... Amazfit work on this bug.
anyone got solution? they replaced or repaired?
No solution yet. They told me to return, but I said that probably would not be the solution because a new one could have the same issue once I update it. So, For me, Amazfit told they are working on an update and as soon they have a new one would let me know, hope they telling the truth. I still have time to use my warranty, so I'll be waiting a few more months. If they not find a solution then I will return the watch.

I am facing only on microphone's problem.
Voice command & talking not possible for it.
But speaker working yet..
Problem facing from 2 or 3 days ago.
Today I got a update.
Not working any way..
Did anyone get a solution? replacement or fixed? I´ve sent to seller for examination waited a moth and came back the same. Not replaced and not fixed anything. I will get with them again to be replaced this time.
