Bootloop

My buddy installed the wrong CWM, and then I fixed it with the right CWM. We were already rooted, and now I tried flashing PAC Rom and forgot to Wipe data. I was coming from stock. Now after I use stock recovery, it still doesn't boot, and it's still stuck in bootloop.

The only thing you can flash in RSD lite is the official Motorola firmware (FXZ). You'll need to get the one that is specifically for your friend's phone ESPECIALLY if it's an AT&T branded phone.
Brought to you by time and relative dimensions in space.

K so yesterday I received AT&T OTA update which I disabled. Today I'm getting LG Software update. Anyone else see this? Is it the same thing as OTA?
I believe that is LG Smartworld.
Oh ok. So I'm good to update it you think?
Smart world yes
I took the update and still kept root. It was small, I had removed all ATT bloat before and it didn't come back after the update.

Stock recovery needed for restoring stock rom?

I found an ATT stock recovery, but I have not been able to find a T-Mobile stock recovery. I am trying to restore to stock using Odin with no luck. It keeps failing. I remember from other devices, you need to restore a stock recovery first to get the restore work properly.

Can you post a screenshot of what ODIN says? You may just have a bad download of the firmware. The full stock firmware contains everything. You should do a full wipe though before flashing in ODIN to get rid of any remnants of fact that your device was rooted. Only thing you can't reset is the Knox counter.

Thank you very much. You made my day. I couldn't update mu S2 because the Gear app said that firmware was modified? I updated through Odin without any problems, but now it again Gear app says that the firmware was modified, although I have installed original firmware that you have provided. Any ideas what is the problem here?

can help with pit file ?
After flashing this update I can't go into wireless download anymore.
Can anyone else confirm their Wi-Fi download mode is accessible?
More on this issue in this thread below
https://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s2/help/entering-wireless-download-mode-throws-t3549559
can anyone with this ROM try entering Download mode (WiFi) and confirm it's working for them?
I'm having issues accessing it after flashing this ROM as described here.
Can confirm these issues. Any solution? Is firmware upgrade via USB possible?
Check Download Mode and/or back site/Rear Case...
Code:
Live Demo Unit
SM-R720X or SM-R732X
And yes you can attach USB cable...
I have soldered my 4 wires...
On Gear S3 there is 1 trick:

Sometimes not possible... not tested on Gear S2...

Latest known Version is:
Code:

I hope you see SM-R730T has MODEM/Radio part...
Be carefully...
Otherwise you KILL/BRICK your SM-R730T with WRONG Firmware.

* G920VVRS4DQD1 * Full Odin Nougat 7.0 Firmware *

Hello!
Here is the full G920VVRS4DQD1 Odin manual update to 7.0 Nougat for everyone to enjoy.
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862722308
If for whatever reason you want to downgrade or don't like 7.0, you can safely downgrade to any of the below versions without any issues. After you flash a lower android version using Odin, phone might get stuck on Verizon logo. If that happens, all you need to do is boot into recovery and do a factory wipe/reset and phone will boot right up after that.
G920VVRU4CPK2 (6.0.1) - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=385035244224405850
G920VVRU4CPH1 (6.0.1) - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=312968873555011904
G920VVRU4BOG7 (5.1.1) - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24665542585483414
You are MVP :good::good:
I'm on 5.1.1, do I need to upgrade to 6.0.1 before I flash this?
Many thanks from Russia!
Thanks from México. I was looking for this last night. :victory: :victory: :victory: :victory:
