Few questions about the OPO. - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all. I had the OPO originally when it launched, and I loved it. The battery life was INSANE. I just bought another one that will be here Monday, and has been lightly used since the guy bought it in 2015. How is battery life? I used to get up to 8 hours of SOT when I had it at launch. What is the best ROM? Best ROM for battery life? Just kind of curious if it's still ass good as it was.

What provider are you with (if any)?
I can appreciate a long-lasting battery better than most. In November I got jumped, beat up, and stabbed in the gut. Spent the night in the hospital, and only the huge 3300mAh battery in my Droid Razr Maxx kept me in touch with my family and friends that could help me. My current phone doesn't have a big battery, but I carry a spare.
so any of the top phone you can recommend?

[Q] swap n5 to lg g2?

Hello!
I love my Nexus 5 but i think the battery is a little to small!
Is it worth it to buy the g2 insteed? What i can see is it a n5 with better battery, well more bloatware but a rom can fix that!
What u guys say is it worth to change?
I'm using my Nexus 5 as a daily driver since the day it was launched and battery life has been enough for me. 3 hours SOT - the battery lasts a whole day I experienced a bit less battery life on stock ROM though. I guess I could tweak it a bit more now and maybe even reach 3,5h SOT. Running CM12 and franco.Kernel - awesome combination!
I wouldn't trade it for a G2 because I really enjoy the development for our flagship

roms and kernels?

anyone know why there are no roms or kernels for this phone? wonder if it's because of a locked bootleader? that and the fact that the battery life sux balls i think i might return this. i love the camera and the feel of it but it's still rather laggy even after the newest update
thanks all
No roms and kernels because no custom recovery.
No custom recovery because locked bootloader.
Not sure why you're getting poor battery performance.
Battery life is brilliant for me, I can go a whole day of normal use (my normal use is probably heavy use to most people) and still have 40% when I go to bed .
What kind of apps are you using to get such lag and battery drain?
Yea, i see everyone complaining about the battery life but i have had no issues with battery life or drainage.
that was with just the basics installed. 100 percent when i start the day around 8:30 the used it to stream pandora for an hour on the way to work. then it sat in my pocked unused and the battery was at 15 percent by 1.
this is even with my battery saver proggie running that cuts of the wifi and cell antenna's when screen is off. no idea im assuming the battery is defective. but now that i know there's not gonna be roms and such i think i might just say fark it and get the m9. i see that there are already tons of roms for that. and i came from a og 3vo so i recognize all the developers.
it's just a bummer i love the curve and the camera on this thing. this is also my third gflex 2 since i got it 3 days ago. the first one just started bootlooping after fifteen mins, the second did the same and now the third seems to work good but the battery life is horrible.
tis a predicament rofl.
thanks for the info gang

If that's the case then you might be right about a defective battery.
Either that or the screen is coming on in your pocket, you'd probably notice your skin burning as the phone heats up though.
Have you checked Settings> Battery> Battery Usage, just to see what's using the most battery?
If you're not happy with the flex 2, the m9 is a great phone.
I got my hands on a prototype about 6 months before release, the only reason I didn't get one is that it just didn't feel right in my hand.
Battery life compare to my old Flex 1 is crap. I know its smaller and better screen resolution, but still my old G2 had better battery life than Flex 2 with same screen resolution and battery.
OP should go cr8 it

Do I have a problem?

OK, so I've been changing phones A LOT lately. Too much. In April 2015, I replaced my two year old S4 with a Moto X14, which had so many issues I bought a Note 5 in August. After getting subpar battery life and seeing the water-resistance of ths S7, I decided to sell my Note 5 and get the S7 in March. It has now been 4 months, and I am feeling like replacing this phone again. Why? Somehow my Exynos version cant seem to get me more than 4h of SOT over an 8h day, which is just BAD. Factory resets dont fix it either. Am I crazy for changing phones this much?

"Do I have a problem ?" This really looks like something you should ask the doctor:laughno offence)
You're not crazy(I know guys who change phones on a more regular basis) although I would suggest doing some research before buying something ,just think what you need most like camera or battery and then buy your preferred phone and stick with it until you need some upgrade .
I spent most of my time with WiFi so what I needed was a 4000 mah battery and I bought it and have been using it.
You'll be losing too much money if it goes on like this.
There's device recommendation thread in xda which could help you for choosing .as for your current phone ,since it can't get you through the day replace it if you use it as a daily driver.

Replacement Battery Question

Okay so two days ago I put in my second replacement battery in the 2 or so years I've had it.
The battery that came in it I guess was faulty as within two months it started overheating like hell and draining the battery very fast as a result. So about 6 months after getting it I ordered a new battery replacement from NewPower99, and I don't remember when I first started using it, but It's been good until about a month ago.
So I got the newest one from ZTHY Tech. And I put it in, but I don't know if it's just me, but it seems to be draining a bit to fast, and this battery has better reviews then the newpower so I don't see how it could be just how this one is.
So I was wondering, is there something I should do before charging it again? Like should I completely discharge it or something?? Also, what's discharging?

Best battery place on the internet IMNSHO.
Elsareyes, I suspect your battery connections may be the culprit. Look through this thread so see how to fix.
Nah, I found out the problem, I think ZTHY is just a **** brand. Which would explain why it's 20 dollars cheaper.
I put back in my old one, and despite overheating from time to time, it lasts a hell of a lot longer. And it's a year and a half old.
I'm gonna buy another of the good battery in a few weeks when I have enough money.
That's good, keep us posted on the 'good battery' when you get it. We all need a good reliable battery vendor for this tablet.
