Dead pixel screen - LG G Flex 2

If anyone of you had a dead pixel on the screen? After 2 months in the middle of the screen appeared a black pixel . Refer guarantees ?

LOL! Screenshots dont show the dead pixel men! kkkkkk
you have to take a photo with another phone or camera directly of the screen of the phone and not take screenshots!

Yes yes im see that after few minutes when create this thread:> omg

When i bought the phone, from the very first use it already has 2 black dots. Automatically sent it for repair ( they change the battery and the display with the frame). It was good, but now again in the edge of the screen 2 black dots. The display is almost total crap.

Ok. How i can unroot devices? Flash kdz with lg flash tool? Then lg services doesnt see root in phone?

[Q][Xoom 2] Dead pixel

Hi,
I just bought new Xoom 2 and I have 1 dead pixel. Is it enough to put the tablet on warranty repair?
You have to check with your warranty papers.
From what I know, you need a percentage of pixels to be dead in order to issue a refund/replace.
Something like 7-8% .
Just like monitors & tv sets.
That would be entirely too high of a percentage. Usually it's like 3 or more dead pixels, or 2 connected. Are you sure they are dead though? If they are just stuck (dead pixels are black, stuck pixels stay red, green, etc), then you should be able to just find a flash .GIF file or even an app that flashes all the colors to get it fixed.
This must be a stuck pixel, is only visible when screen is black or very dark. Am I able to repair it just flashing this place with gif image?
edit: now I have 6 stuck pixels, the rest are smaller, I probably didnt see them :[
Return it to where you purchased it or send it in, that's unacceptable. While you're at it...just take back the Xoom 2 and get a Xoom.

Developed a blue stuck pixel after 5 months of ownership

Have any of you had a stuck pixel appear on your Infinity? Mine is blue and relatively near the center of the screen. I tend to notice it most often when watching videos or anything with a dark background. Ignore the dust as I forgot to wipe the screen before taking the pic. http://bit.ly/XXfale

I had a stuck pixel around two weeks ago.
It was white and toward the left side...I thought oh-boy here we go.
I forgot about it then noticed it went away after a few reboots.
Had this happen on my 6 month old notebook also and that stuck pixel disappeared after one shutdown.

I had a vertical yellow bar appear on mine. It went all the way up the screen. I was past the Amazon return window by 6 days but they overnight-ed me a new one anyway.
So far, I have run Dead Pixel Detector and Pixel Curer, both over night without success. I have also tried "massaging the pixel", both with the screen on and off. Because of the tablet's glass top layer, I'm not sure how effective this method is though. I just press down enough for a few seconds to see some flashing movement on a black background and have the "waves" move through the area of the stuck pixel. Any other suggestions or stories of a similar experience? Has anyone been able to get a replacement from Asus because of a stuck pixel near the center of the screen? This problem is the only thing holding me back from rooting and unlocking.
Has anyone else experienced the appearance of a stuck pixel on their tablet?

G920T Screen burning or whatever its called

Hey guys, I recently got this problem of my OLED screen getting burn in effect or whatever this thing is called. Anyways, everytime I lock my phone and unlock it acts up and goes away after 10-30 secs. I will upload a picture and maybe someone can help me and tell me what the problem might be.
*P.S: it started acting up 2 days ago and today the screen was black with these lines on the bottom. I haven't dropped it either.

that is not a screen burn in, looks more like a faulty display. try claiming your warranty
I had that sort of problem with an incompatible kernel on my rom. Try another rom or update to latest official stock firmware
Looks like resolution is not set to WQHD, check to see if it's incorrectly set to FHD.
I fixed it. Thank you guys.
LoL its not a screen burn !!
Screen Burn Means the pixels of ur display go completely black
U hv switched to HD/FHD resolution which aint supported by current ROM so change resolution to WQHD

Flashing white screen bug

after charging all night ( or if I take it off for an hour or so), when it cools down my LG Urbane 2 LTE gets a flashing bright white screen that covers about 4/5 of the screen when the screen is in active mode (not dull sleep mode).
After wearing it for about 30 mins the white bit goes away and it behaves itself.
Anyone aware of a way to make this go away?

know LG issue since the first LG round model LG like this very well and never want correct it.....
I had the same problem on my Urbane 2 and sent it to LG for repair. They said it was a bad Display Flex cable. $70USD to repair. I should be getting it back in a week or 2 and will let you know if that fixed it.
Got my watch back this weekend and the issue is resolved.

Screen Issue!

So the other day i got a call on viber (a calling app) and when you get a call the status bars not transparent so it was still black anyway after the phone call i noticed a black dark pixel on my status bar and it annoyed me it was on my home screen, on the play store. If i watched a video in full screen or a white screen i couldn't see it. Anyway i gotta viber call again and thru the black status bar i seen the same black dot glitch like it couldn't turn the pixel off anyways it magically fixed. Well it was gone till i woke up this morning it came back, it looks like a dead pixel or a dark grey pixel or something. What should i do. I have 12 months of waranty from wanda mobile but im not sure it will do anything
You sure it's not the proximity sensor?

It's hard to say if this is really a dead pixel. If it's really really tiny dot then it is probably a dead pixel.
Other wise it could be a glitch from a app causing a black dot on screen which isn't impossible.
So try removing viber completely and see if it stays if it does then it's probably a dead pixel or stuck pixel. But if it disappears immediately and never returns then there is a bug in viber app causing it to do tiny dot on your screen.

I had a very similar issue, but in my case it was white pulsing light after Viber call and only when I was tilting the phone. This resolved after reboot.
I would suggest you download a dead pixel checker app from the store and see if it is really a dead pixel. Also, is it always there or only when tinting the screen? Is it constantly there or pulsing / going away and then appearing?
I use this app to check dead pixel: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bean.android.screeninspector&hl=en&gl=US

So its not dead because if i watch movies or videos in full screen with nice color i cannot see it but if im in an app with a grey blue, lightblue, etc i can see it. But it bothers me a lot especially considering this was a 1400 dollar phone
Switch screen resolution and see if it does anything. Sometimes these artifacts stick just because samsung is too buggy.

Mine is also on the same place, but mine is proximity sensor like a dot. Your seems like there are some dead pixels around the proximity sensor.
That doesn't look like dead pixels at all. If it was dead pixel it would be clear black dot not ha transparent grayish type of spot. I also checked my note 20 ultra for this by going on gray background and saw nothing like this on mine. So either it's a burn mark that it has burnt something in that the viber app has caused or it's something else.
Download Display Tester from the play store and take some pics with solid colors being displayed. It looks like the aggressive usage of the proximity sensor from Viber has effected that area.

Try to use the software to test dead pixels on grey blue and lightblue background to narrow down the issue.
For me, it happened everywhere and fixed once I rebooted the phone.
