[Completed] Data service stopped working? - XDA Assist

Just today my SIM data service has stopped working on android device, I tried everything I found on the web but nothing worked, turning on/off of data doesn't show the data connection (H+ sign), but GSM is okay, i can receive texts and calls, my settings for data are all correct 100% sure, APN, roaming set, data set to sim, but still there is no data connection showing..
I know it's possible that the network blocked my sim, because recently my sim got free data connection on any sites (P0 load), including play store, torrents, youtube, etc... Free as in everything.
So pals, is there a way to get my data service work again? Thanks

Problem regarding the mobile internet ....

i know this is not the right forum to discuss my issue but i got no help from my phone section forum.dats y i was forced to submit in this general thread.
i am not being able to use the internet on my GALAXY 3.when i activate the data network nothing happens.PACKET DATA (in settings>wireless>mobile network) always gets unclicked.when i click packet data to activate after sometime it gets unclicked automatically.i have tried 2 service provider connec same prob,installed stock rom,custom(indroid,lestatious,kyrillos) nothing happened.plz HELP.....

[Q] Only some data works with unlocked Atrix.

Hi, I have an unlocked Atrix MB860, running 2.3.6/AT&T 4.5.141.
It's been working flawlessly on Rogers in Canada but now I'm in Colombia using a Comcel prepaid sim card. It prompted me to add access points and I did, and I have data for browsing but not for email, or other services like updating, google talk, facebook messenger etc. The sim is from a USB modem which has data and texting capabilities. These functions still work on wifi.
Is there something else I have to do to get this working, or is it possible the prepaid sim just doesn't allow this? I would think data is data and that it would let me connect to other servers.

[Q] Cannot data roam

On a recent trip to Germany I discovered that I cannot data roam.
My handset is a dev unlocked (upto date) HTC Pro 7 with a T-Mobile UK SIM.
On a arriving in Germany I rebooted my phone, selected the T_Mobile DE network and turned on data roaming.
Once connected I fired up internet explorer, it tried to redirect me to the t-mobile portal, where you are supposed to be presented with the option to purchase international access.
After a while it just timed out with a message saying that it could not connect and suggesting that i turn on data roaming.
I double checked the settings and rebooted, still no access. This time however it wasn't even trying to auto redirect. Selecting the url from history still resulted in the same error page.
Thinking that it might be a cache problem, I deleted the cache. Still nothing. Selecting other networks didn't help either.
I rang T_mobile, they checked for network issues but could not recommend anything other than wiping the handset. I was not willing to do this given that i could not be assured that I would have the necessary internet access to restore my data...
Has anyone else had problems roaming with T_mobile on WP7.5?

Unable to turn off data after upgraded TL10 to 5.1.1
Dear all,
I need an urgent help from all experts.
I just upgraded my TL10, and after upgraded the both sim card always show 3g and 2g sign on both sim card. even though i disable my data from phone, they are still showing data sign on both sims. I already turned off the data, but i was at oversea yesterday but i keep receiving a warning SMS from telco saying data on roaming will incur high cost. which i forced to disable the simcard instead of the data.
hope anyone has solved this issue please let me know. thanks
That was my issue too when I first upgraded to LP.
Usually, when you turn on mobile data, you will see 3g, 4g, etc. on your status bar. Anyway, what I did was I went to Settings->More(Wireless and networks)->Mobile Network
Data enabled OFF
Mobile data always on OFF
Data roaming:
Data roaming OFF
Receive MMS messages while roaming OFF
You will still see the 3g/4g sign but you won't be using any mobile data unless you turn it on.

Whatsapp Web connection issue

I am unable to connect to whatsapp web.
I can send and receive messages and calls on my device but cannot connect to WhatsApp web on pc. My device scans the qr image perfectly and then the loading screen remains the same. I have spoken to my phone provider and they have assured me my line is fine and there are no connectivity restrictions. I have used other devices with different numbers on the same network and computer and WhatsApp web works perfectly. I have tried on different WiFi connections and pcs and nothing! I have factory reset my device and reinstalled WhatsApp and updated everything and it still does not work.
Help center has not resolved my issue.
I have done everything the troubleshoot tells you to try.
I have cleared cache, cookies, data. I have updated apps, browsers. I have reset connections, apns. I have made sure there are no firewalls or vpns. No ad blocks. You name it, I've probably tried it!
I have contacted whatsapp about it and they have basically taken me around in circles.
I have also contacted my mobile provider again and have been told that there are no restrictions or connection configurations that could affect using whatsapp web. I have tried the same sim card in different phones and none of them connect however, any other phone with any other sim card does.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
