Good VR Headset - Nexus 6P Accessories

What is a good VR headset for this phone? I am looking at this one in particular: http://www.amazon.com/PASONOMI-H-B-...ue&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=A2SBT3E4YYUGG8

I'd like to know as well. I tried a HooToo 3D VR headset on my 6P with not much success.

Maybe you can help me... I'm looking into getting this one also but do you know if daydream is what's on the phone or does the headset need to be compatible also?

So what makes it good? Serious question. I'm really interested but don't know much about it. Prices range dramatically but what justifies the higher price tags? (resolution? gameplay? build quality?)
Btw--this specific pair is on amazon for a little more money but a much shorter delivery time.

I second the Bobo Z4. Comfortable, adjustable lenses for spectacle wearers like me, and pupil distance adjustment, earphones.

Is it this one on Amazon? Right price?
https://www.amazon.com/Xiaozhai-Hea...01EBR8YKU/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
What controller works best with this and the 6P? Do you plug the 6P into the headset, via the USB-C port, or just connect the headphone only?

It comes with a bluetooth controller. You plug the 3.5mm audio jack on the headset into the phone. Also you can find it for cheaper on eBay. I got mine for 29 USD.

Thanks. The Amazon reviews say the controller is not good. Is it good in your experience, working with Nexus 6p?

Headset with music controls

Hey all, my stock htc headset has broken (can' hear a thing from the left ear-bud) and am looking for a replacement.
I was wondering what everyone would recommend... I'm looking for one with music controls, a mic and in-ear buds but it seems that they are impossible to find.
And I was also wondering if bluetooth headsets cause a lot of battery drain
Thanks
Hi there,
You could try buying a pair of the Galaxy S earbuds from eBay, they do exactly what you're asking, and should play nice with any Android phone. As far as I know at least.
Anyone know if either one of these works with desire?
iLuv iEA15BLK iPod Remote with Third-party Headphones Adapter for VoiceOver (Black)
or
Sennheiser MM 50 iPhone
I'm not allowed to post links here, so you'll have to google them.

The biggest problem with finding a headset is companies not specifying supported phone models and assume everyone owns a freakin iPhone
I also need good earbuds which can controle the mediaplayer or can control volume.

Does anyone know if the battery drain is very bad with blue-tooth headphones?
i just got some Skullcandy Full Metal Jackets, they have a microphone and single button that works for play / pause / answer call, etc.
So far seems to work well with the Desire. Got them off eBay for £20 although they might be fakes as the RRP is more like £60.
Also order some Skullcandy Titans from Play.com on sale currently for £14 instead of £40.
That would be great if play shipped electronics anywhere outside the UK hehe. I'll have a look on ebay. Could you link the Full Metal Jackets you got? 1 button is better than no button at all hehe

You can use any headset with a 2.5 mil jack (the smaller one) it might be cheaper to get an adapter for a smartphone headset, they are usually 3.5 mm and the adapter(3.5 to 2.5) is about 6$. Common headset prices are about 20$ for low end models that are new, Gamestop might have a few used pieces for 12-15$ If you dont mind a 60$ price tag get a turtle beach headset(x12), they really amp up the experience. Or go pro and get the MLG Astro's...a mere 400$

Bluetooth Headsets

EDIT: Opinions on Jabra MOVE Wireless Bluetooth, Amazon has black starting at $60~ Worth? (awe reviewers show cushions ripping open)
I checked my email for promotions and had these from Groupon, thought I'd pass them along. If you have any comments / opinion or any other BT Headphone deals please post.

I used to have a pair like these, it would eventually hurt the back of my ear after long time use.
https://www.groupon.com/deals/gg-motorola-buds-sf500-universal-bluetooth-in-ear-headphones-with-mic
Most in ear tend to also hurt after a while of use, these are black version. (Same price at walmart and Amazon)

I've seen my boss at work always use these at work, looks like the ones on groupon just different brands. Seem pretty popular in terms of usage, so I'm guessing they work pretty well.
Ones boss uses:

Cheaper alternative?

Now I've been turned on to aptx. Reading the crs site it seems Qualcomm bought them.

So researching and most reviews are saying that the jaybird bluebuds x2 are the current best.
My dog ate my LG tone pro hbs 730 which are older but good.
Trying to figure out best ones to get. Want great sound and something great for running as well. I hear the x2 cover all that. Specially with the comply buds that come with it now.
The other was considering as the new lg infinim. Up to other suggestions as well.

I'd like to get on ear or over ear, something small tho. The in ear tend to hurt me, on ear might if they are too tight.
I recommend the hbs-810 or second gen tone ultra. Half the footprint of the tone infinim with retractable earbuds. The x2 is my best sport headphone set but isn't ideal for office environments. That is where the tone shines.

Yeah I decided on the x2. Man do yet sound great with v4a and dolby atmos running. I don't really walk around or use them in an office environment. Mostly use to run and workout and when ride the bike.
Going to keep testing as I have 40 days to return

In that case the x2 is the best hands down as long as you get a good seal. I love their warranty and how low profile they are. Glad you found what you were looking for!

first one I found at amazon, $17.95: http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset-Microphone/dp/B002BH3I9U
second one is exactly the same price at amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Univ...p/B00H0CV9TM/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8
I figured the last one had the same price. Groupon is great if you want to find a place that has deals on nails or hair or a spa. They've pretty much been selling schlock for years now in terms of merchandise.
Just my opinion, you may have another.

These are the ones I bought in 2013 from Amazon, the price has gone down since I bought them and I think there's newer version out there, but mine are amazing. There's another version where the buds retract into the headset, I still like the ones I have and still work great after 2 years:

Ive found expensive bt headphones dont sound much better, but perhaps last long fit btter look better or have more features.
My point wasnt to buy them on groupon or that they had any btter price, but more a comparision at sub $40-50 worth buying~
Ive seen some recomendations, features, look and talk about how it feels after wearing for a while. Once i can determine decent ones ill search for pricing.

I think I understand. You want quality sound plus wireless tech. $40 Meizus aren't probably gonna cut it. If you want wireless, this is probably as cheap as you can get. If you want quality, $150 wired is probably as cheap as you can get. Combine the two features, and you are looking for at least $200 or more.
I just treated myself to a set of hi-res Bluetooth earphones. £70 which is not cheap but they sound amazing & equal to more expensive wired solutions.

What earphones ?
Prostereo H2 earphones. Hi-res Bluetooth audio codecs are enabled in android 8.1 and these earphones will use the aptxHD and LDAC codecs which promise "better than cd" sound quality.
Ive tried them with some downloaded hi-res music files and they certainly sound great and as good as more expensive wired earphones but with the wireless convenience.

Question USB C Wired Earphones

Can anyone recommend reasonably priced wired USB C earphones?
I'll be using it for calls. Have a couple of Bluetooth ones, good for music but not so for calls.
Thanks.
I'm using TWS PRO 60, it's really cheap, easy to use and it's bluetooth ones.
You can use for listen to music, make a call but i am not really sure you will like the bass.
Details..
Brand: Zipo
Microphone: Available
Sound type: TWS
Bluetooth version: 5
I use the ones from my pixel 3.
These work great with my Pixel 6 and 7

I bought the Google DAC/Adapter and I use Soundmagic E10, the best option in the cheap price. Now even discounted as E11 came out (but worse).
If you're just looking for cheap and half decent sounding, look for Samsung AKG USB C earbuds, they're good.

I think Moondrop still makes Shiroyuki (Snow White) and Nameless, both are buttons, cheap, and decent sounding too, you might have to look for them ... Tho. They're so damn cheap not a lot of resaler carriers them anymore.
I also make my own button earphones They're pretty easy to work with imo, a pair of shell, a pair of drivers and a cable (w mic if you want) and just a couple solder joints.
