Quick question, I've rooted with kingroot ,replaced with SuperSU and have twrp as my recovery with locked bootloader,my question is do I need to unlock bootloader to reinstall stock recovery.
Thanks

you can try to flash stock recovery the same way you flashed your twrp.
if it doesn't work you'll need to unlock bootloader and flash stock via that.
Unlock the bootloader - it costs nothing (just to send an email to Huawei) and then you can do whatever you want.
Anubis
Yes unlocked bootloader and now back to stock.
Thanks

My mate 7 l09 is on B331, when I tried to upgrade to 522 by using the full image, it failed on 16%, then I tried factory reset, also failed. Also failed to upgrade to 513 by using the OTA zip file.
After I checked the vender info, I got surprised, it shows : Vendor: file not exist , Country: file not exist .
Please help me to figure our what to do next, thanks.

Have tried, but wifi and bluetooth still not working. My mate7-l09 is Vodafone, when I try to flash full rom, always comes with cust fail, looks like it need some files in cust , maybe in hw.
Looks like the problem is all coming from my australia vodaphone version, I tried to change HW to eu, but failed.
I use filemanager in TWRP to copy files from sdcard, but after change the oeminfo, custom.bin, build.prop ,after reboot I stuck on huawei logo, then I have to facotry reset, does that mean all old files come back agian? And where are these old files for factory located, could I just change the file to that folder, and then factory reset and reboot to let the new file I wanted work? Just a theory, happy to discuss it with you.
The wifi and Bluetooth still doesn't work.
When I use *#*#2846579#*#* 3 4 still show Vendor: file not exist , Country: file not exist.
Another thing is I find out that there is a oeminfo in folder in dev/block/bootdevice, and it shows au, shall I change it to eu too?
Thanks!

Another question is can I roll back to B331 by using the TRWP full image from your post, do I need to flash back the official recovery for B331? Thanks a lot.
Regards,
No you can't use backup b331 to downgrade. You mast have unroot b522 flash stock recovery and flash rollback and when you do it your build must change to b500 and then flash full b331
thanks.but due to cust failure, i cant use stock recovery to rollback to b500. Will try later thanks for your help.

Thanks bro. In My case, I have to change region to eu.But looks like it cant be done due to some factory original file. I dont know where to find them.
When I wipe all file,I can see all file In folder dev remains. And the key file oeminfo exist In two folder dev/block/bootdevice And dev/block/platform, am thinking to change them all next time.

update: twrp back to 511, no wifi no bluetooth, change the region to eu, restart, still no wifi. Factory reset -- the region changes back to vha/au, wtf. What did factory reset do? How can I change the region to eu forever, please help me, thanks.
Regards,
If you want change region you must change custom.bin and oeminfo to eu. Then restart fone. When you do it you must downgrade to eu firmware and you have eu version
