Thank you!

We have also flashable Stock Images!
Going to test this Kernel now... Thanks alot Dev! ?
I get error when trying to flash kernel :
Code:
Dumping/splitting image failed. Aborting...
[COLOR="Red"]Updater process ended with ERROR: 1
Error installing zip file 'sdcard/Download/ZZ_h850_R1.zip'[/COLOR]
Just me ??
I suggest using https://github.com/jcadduono/lazyflasher/tree/kernel-flasher rather than AnyKernel2, should be a tad bit more reliable on this device.
BTW - why not just fork from my stock-6.0.y branch and cherry-pick the KCAL and other patches you used? It probably would have been much easier....

EDIT: Oh wait, found the mistake. My fault.
Sorry for the inconvenience guys. The previous version which I uploaded was faulty.
I have uploaded the new fixed version, so please try that and lemme know if any error occurs during flash.
Cheers!

Flashed fine here also. But Kernel has not changed for me. Still LG Kernel... Booted up without Problems. But no ZigZag Kernel ?
strange ! after flashing kernel it takes quite some time till all is back up, and even i do nothing on the device, all of a sudden it reboots and gets stuck @ lg logo
I see kernel with kernel adiutor, but when i try to make a screenshot, it says something like "Cant take screenshot while moving data" , and after a bit it reboots
This is what happens to me.
System is lagging and rebooting.
Maybe something wrong with AnyKernel? My Bluetooth isn't working but Kernel Info says LG Kernel. Reflashing the Stock Kernel brings back Bluetooth for me...
So still flashing issues? Or is it related to the Kernel itself?
Hmm, strange, gotta remove the downloads, since nobody is having a stable device. I'm on vacation for a week, so after coming back, I'll work on this.
So closing this thread for now
Thanks for testing.
Cheers!

Just tested new r1 and it boots but system says that my external sd is damaged and needs to be formatted. So I'm back to Stock kernel for now. Extsd usable again on Stock, nothing lost
Edit: can't Enable Bluetooth anymore after flashing back to Stock kernel

hi guys, this kernel is the same as cyanogenmod
with the only difference that this updated to the latest revision by the Linux Foundation and codeaurora/kk_2.7-stable
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
I clarify that, not overlocked and is not compiled with Linaro (maybe in the future)
Install instruction:
S-OFF:
1 - Flash the zip in recovery

There's a small error in your s-on instructions. Step 5 says to type "fastboot flash recovery" when it should say "fastboot flash boot" instead. Just thought I'd let you know, most people know better but you're bound to get someone who flashes the boot.img to their recovery partition.

the ROM you have used the new fstab?
MIUI V5 for N9005 by bhflower
Based on Samsung Official NF1 Touchwiz and MIUI V5 Patchrom for KitKat
Please take note that although this ROM is based on Touchwiz, you will get a MIUI experience instead of a Touchwiz one. However, we do manage to keep a lot of Note 3 original features, including the S Pen with Air Command. Moreover, you do not have to suffer all bugs you get from AOSP-based ROMs.
This ROM is built for the international variant (N9005) only. Please do not report bugs if you use it on other variants. Please refer to this thread for hlte-unified build.
About MIUI
http://en.miui.com/
If you still do not know what MIUI is (seriously???...), you may check the link above for more details.
And please... MIUI is way more than just themes and the iOS-style layout.
You will be able to feel the "humanization" involved in each small details when you use it.
FYI: You may want to try the MiCloud service.
The ROM is ported by the Chinese developer bhflower. I am only in charge of maintaining the English thread here. However, you may still ask me any questions regarding this ROM. If I cannot answer you, I will ask bhflower and get back to you.
Features
Of course, all amazing MIUI features.
Original S Pen with Air Command.
Original Samsung camera.
Of course all MIUI features.
[WIP] Smart Cover (should be released very soon).
OTA incremental updates every week.
Rooted (Go to Security --- Permission to enable and manage.)
Screenshots
Will be up once we solve the smart cover problem.
How to install
We highly recommend you to flash the offical NF1 ROM with Odin before flashing this.
Or at least make sure you have the 4.4 bootloader!!!
Please use the latest PhilZ Touch Recovery for hlte.
Wipe Data/Cache/System (Important)
Flash the zip file downloaded.

FAQs
1. Custom kernels?
Other TW kernels may work
2. Modifications to the ROM?
Please contact us first before you do ANY modifications to the ROM. Thank you very much.
3. ART?
It is high NOT recommended that you turn on ART, which MIUI has yet to support.
If you like this ROM, please click the "Thanks" button. We will also appreciate a lot if you connect to the Internet at least once after flashing for statistical purposes.
We would like to thank:

Just flashed this ROM, enjoying it very much so far.
Especially loving the ability to root/unroot from within the ROM, no need to flash auto root!
Cannot yet confirm the battery life though my device does get hot relatively quickly.
Great work @sktjdgns1189 - donation on its way!
EDIT: Bugs found:
1 - mobile hotspot isn't working. Bluetooth tethering works okay.
[Seems to be fixed in nightly 20150601]
2 - Wi-Fi connection drops randomly and doesn't reconnect. (Doesn't occur too often)
3 - settings buttons from notification panel sometimes irresponsible. Need to go into free settings setup menus in order to change the desired feature.
4 - when making video through any camera app there is no voice capture. I can see the movie playback but there's no sound.

Nice trick to get thanks [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Does not work on lineage OS 15, could not boot the phone anymore. After the initial lenovo splash screen, the phone lit up and dimmed again and again, and finally reboots to fastboot mode.
I know this isn't the place to discuss this issue but - why can't I unlock the pattern after a TWRP restore?

The way you put your sentence sounds as if you don't expect it to work, as if you're asking me to jump off a cliff. So...yes I will try, in a few hours.

Yes, now it works on Oreo! Thank you very much.
Apart from cpu governors, its hard to notice the performance difference.

Special thanks:
@tecknight for supplying the rooted boot.img, a root method for the Aristo 2, and for fixing up my Custom Rom. A lot of the credit really should go to him, because without his help my effort would have been useless. So again thank you tecknight.

It's not to hard. I just take in a lot that I read from other forums. I'm not as experienced as others but I've been learning on the way.
I can try to change the calling app, I did it once. Do you have any suggestions as to what app I should use to replace the call app? And would you like some more features to be added. I'm lacking on some idea's. I'm already looking at adding Substrantum, Audio FX, Eleven Music, and a CPU Controller. "Those will be in the next Update, along with a new boot animation."
Thank you for the work you've put in! I just wanted to report that I crash when I try to click Home Screen in the Settings under the display tab. Also, would it be possible for you to post the vendor files or what ever you used to compile the rom. That would be extremely helpful.

I used the Stock rom to make this Rom. So essentially it's just a Custom Stock Rom with replaced Apps.

Hey have you had any updates on the keep. I can pull it from the boot I'm for you if you'd like.
And also have you flashed the new update? I add a couple more things and removed some more. I'm stuck unless I can get some more suggestions from everyone.

I hate auto correct so much. I meant to say do you have any updates on the kernel. And lower down I meant to say do you still need the zimage.
I'm about to update the ROM again. It will boot faster and have better battery and charger speed.

I'm about to change the ROM's build.prop to fit the ROM. Can I get some volunteers to help me edit the settings app.
Thank you for this custom ROM and TWRP! I tested this (and still using as a daily driver) and can confirm working on the LG Phoenix 4 AT&T unlocked bootloader. With Magisk 18.0 I wouldn't recommend you update till a later version is released due to force close errors, but is rare with bash installed to /system. This ROM is very clean and I'm impressed and big thanks to the developer I've been looking for a way to root my Phoenix 4 and have a debloated rom

Awesome!!! I'm amazed that my ROM worked for the Phoenix 4. It was originally for the Aristo 2. What kind of firmware are you running? Also I'm about to release an Oreo Version of the ROM. Would you mind pre-testing it?

I would love to pre-test your rom! I'm on 7.1.2 as the Phoenix 4 was before this rom. No one has even found root or TWRP that works for this device yet so I feel good knowing this rom works

I'd feel good to! Your the first one ever to root that phone. So if Aristo 2 firmware worked then the TWRP with the Oreo Kernel should work for you to. I'll post the link in a sec.
