[P7 Mini / G6 LTE] Will I keep my stock theme when I upgrade to Android 4.4? - Huawei Ascend G6

Hi there,
Beginners question: I just bought me a Huawei Ascend P7 Mini (Which is the German version of the Ascend G6 4G/LTE). I read it comes with Android 4.3 and has an update to Android 4.4 kitkat available.
But before I install it I would first like to know if I keep the original theme and icons after upgrading. I ordered the white/gold version and like to keep the same theme for aesthetics.
This theme I like to keep after upgrading.

Huawei ASCEND P7 L10V00R001C00B126

Hello I am Alix From Afghanistan
I have Huawei P7 l10.....26
i have emui 2.3 which is not updatable i think?
i wanted to have a custom cool ROM better then EMUI I am new in XDA so please Help me thanks alot.
Hello Alix,
at the moment there are no other ROM's than EMUI based ROM's. But you could update first to EMUI 3.0 and then to 3.1 Beta which is Lollipop 5.1.1.
I have it running on my P7 now and it looks fresh. If you still want a custom ROM then search on XDA for the P7 and there you will find 'se7en' ROM and MIUI. Of course rooting your device is very important for further customization.

Huawei Y6 - is Android 6.0 out for this phone?

Hi xda,
I just have a quick question about Android Marshmallow for Huawei Y6. Is it available anywhere? Do you think it will be released/ made by someone? Can't I just flash vanilla Android 6.0 on my phone or somehow emulate it and have it working?
Thanks!
The future will forecast.

Hello and welcome to xda-assist,
either there is a official update for your device (settings, about device, system update or on manufacturers homepage) or custom rom (unlikely) to upgrade the device software but I really have no idea what "upgrading online" means..
Feel free to ask in this thread again, maybe someone there owns / knows the device..

Is it possible to upgrade Samsung C9 Pro to Android 12/13?

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum.
I have a spare Samsung C9 Pro which is official upgraded at Android 8.0.0
I would like to know if there a way to upgrade this phone.
Updating Samsung Software Over-The-Air is an option available in Samsung Android Smartphones and Tablets. Doesn't this easy method work for your Samsung C9 Pro?

If there are stock updates available for your device, then, yes, you can upgrade.
If there are no official updates available for the devices, then, no, you cannot upgrade unless there are custom ROMs available for the device. If there are no custom ROMs available for the device, then, you will have to learn to build a custom ROM for yourself and that is only "IF" the stock source code for the device has been made available by the manufacturer/carrier.
